Unless it deals with music, Bentley couldn't care less about other people. He's a loner that prefers to do things at his own pace. That is, until he meets a writer that just might change his mind.
Like the others, Zoe finds herself struggling to work with the temperamental designer. At every turn, Bentley is challenging her and forcing her to scramble to keep up.
Will Bentley be able to change his ways to show Zoe that he's not as gruff as he seems to be and actually work up the courage to take her on a date?
A.M. Williams is just a simple girl from the south that found herself living abroad. When she’s not annoying her cat or reading, she’s spending time with her husband and traveling as much as possible. She has a serious case of wanderlust and wants to go as many places as possible while she can. She loves Cheerwine, sweet tea, and North Carolina (eastern style) BBQ as well as those crystal clear waters on the North Carolina coast.
I absolutely love this series and this is book 5 to the Southern Sands series and this is Bentley’s turn to tell us his story and boy ohh boy what a story it is. Bentley is the drummer of the band he’s a bit os a loner and he wants to be left alone until he see’s a purple haired girl that makes him shy and changes his way of thinking about things. I liked Zoe she was really good for Bentley and I loved how he reacted around her, I’m sad that this is the conclusion to this series but it has gone out with a bang. It’s an amazing story/ series and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
I gotta say, this book was everything and nothing like I expected. I could not put it down once I started it and did not want it to end when I got there.
A captivating very well written read! An intense emotionally heartfelt story-line that grabs you right from the start keeping you engrossed and on edge throughout this beautifully written story!

I have loved this entire series and I like this book the best out of them all! I laughed at how Bentley tried to remain a hard, unapproachable person when it came to women, especially Zoe. When they started working together, he couldn’t resolve how to approach her to be more than friends. He stumbled over his words and was nervous. Zoe took the reigns in starting the relationship and didn’t look back. Excellent book!
Great read. This is the 5th book in the Southern Sands Series. Bentley is a man by himself. He doesn’t like to work with others in his regular job (he is a “freelancer”) as he finds that not many have the drive or inspiration that he has and it just frustrates him. Enter a job that is bigger than what he can do alone. He is told that he will be working with someone that has the qualification to be an asset. Bentley doesn’t want or need anyone in his professional or personal life. Enter Zoe. Talk about throwing a monkey wrench into the mix! There is attraction there that they both try to ignore then when it happens, BAM, it becomes an issue. What is the issue? Read the book to find out what happens and how it ends. Thanks to the author and Booksprout for an ARC of this book for an honest opinion.
