Discover the magic of the Bradens and fall in love with Addison Cole's rich and romantic storytelling.

Lacy Snow wasn’t looking for love when she met strikingly handsome and seductive Dane Braden. But how could she ignore the six-foot-three darkly handsome god who tagged and researched sharks for a living—and made every nerve in her body tangle into an overly sensitive knot? Even her fear of sharks could not suppress their intense attraction.

As founder of the Brave Foundation, Dane Braden travels from port to port, educating and advocating on behalf of the mammals he adores—and spends his nights finding solace in the arms of strangers. The last thing Dane was looking for when he met Lacy Snow was a relationship, and the last thing he expected was to fall in love.

More than a year—and hundreds of flirty texts, steamy phone calls, and sensual video chats—later, they reunite and take passion to a whole new level. But as Lacy’s phobia meets Dane’s past love life, their steamy romance is upended, and when tragedy strikes, Dane and Lacy are forced to face their deepest fears head-on as they try to navigate their own sea of love.

Following your heart has never been so challenging or, as scary, for both Lacy Snow and Dane Braden. Neither are out for finding love, but love certainly found them, and is challenging them both to look at themselves a littler deeper for what they really want in life. The only problem is, in order to get their happy ever after, they both must let go of their past , drop their fears and take on the unknown. Love vs Fear, which one will win in the end?

Lacy Snow has a fear of sharks, rightly so as she had been injured by one as a child. Never in her wildest dreams did she think she would fall for a handsome man that has a career with her very worst fear, but life it seems has it's own ideas. Lacy can't ignore how she feels for Dane, even though most of their relationship was via phone and flirty texts and a brief face to face. There is no denying the way he makes her feel, but his very career is working with sharks. Lacy knows she needs to figure out how to over come her fear, or she risks losing Dane but there's more pressing matters that unfold after they meet up a year later. It's not just her fear that risks putting distance between her and Dane , but Dane himself. His life was filled with emptiness when it came to relationships. Empty, meaningless arms of strangers here and there, but none that made him feel alive like Lacy did . He wanted nothing to do with strings, nothing that tied him down, and worst yet her true fear was sharks itself. Dane could easily go back to his life and career with what he loves best but for the last year of keeping the connection with Lacy and meeting up with her again, he wasn't so sure he could go back to the way things were. He made her happy, and seeing her happy made it all worth while-  but there's just one major problem, and that's Lacy is the woman who deserves the full life commitment- and that's the very thing he runs from.

Will Fear take over the Love that ignites between Lacy and Dane? Or can they both overcome their fears together and jump into the unknown for their happiness together?

Another great book, loved they way Lacy and Dane came together and had to face their past not just alone but together. It shows how strong love can be when you're willing to open up even at your most vulnerable.

Lacy Snow is an Account Manager at World Geographic and works hard so that she would be next in line for a promotion. Dane Braden is an owner and a shark tagger of the non-profit Brave Foundation. After one meeting, their attraction was so strong, but they went back to lead their lives, focused on their career goals.

They finally meet again at a family wedding, but how do you explain why you didn't make the effort to see someone you claim you missed so much?

Taking it day by day they reconnect with each other. But Lacy discovers that her fear of sharks was rooted so deep, she didn't know just the mention of sharks could cause an anxiety attack. Lacy decides that she is not the man Dane needs and breaks ties.

Dane knows they are meant to be together and must work to get to her so they can be happy with each other. This is a story that reminds us that we build up flaws and issues we think our potential mate may have issues with so big in our heads, but it's never too big of an issue to the one we're meant to be with.

Disclosure: At my request, I have received an advance copy of this book for review purposes. I am not being financially compensated for this post, all opinions expressed are my own honest opinion.

I have not yet encountered a read that I did not enjoy or was just mediocre from Addison Cole. I love that there are two sides to every romance and you get more with each page you turn. The sweet with heat allows you to enjoy a level of romance that does not entangled the graphic/erotic play. Discovering Lacy and Dane again after missing them from the Snow Sister's series was wonderful for me. I felt something between them when I first met them and then there was Dane and the little something extra that he carries. Getting back around to these two again was much wanted. Their time and romance grew with distance, text, phobia, fears, past and then . . . If you love romance with a little more and then others you could pick up and read with or around, then I suggest picking up The Art of Loving Lacy and the whole Weston Bradens series. There were many things with in the pages that will hold you there and have you wanting more from the other friends and family that you meet along the read. It also a great way to get little glimpses in to other lives of other loved characters.

This author has a talent for creating characters & storylines that grab her readers’ hearts from the beginning & don’t let go. They become emotionally invested in the story & feel the same emotions the characters are going through. The compulsion to read the book from cover to cover is hard to resist since there isn’t a good stopping point until the end.

Dane & Lacy have been engaging in a long distance friendship ever sense Dane’s brother’s wedding. As their friendship has grown, their feelings have gotten stronger. Before they can find their happy ever after, they have a lot of details to resolve. After a childhood accident, Lacy is terrified of sharks. This wouldn’t be a big deal except Dane’s job is locating & tagging sharks. Another issue is Dane’s fear of being left behind. Since his mother died, Dane was careful not to get too involved. When his friend & coworker was injured, Dane pushed Lacy away. Will they figure out how to control their fears or will they let the feelings control them?

If you love the romance books but not the explicit sex scenes then you have to check out Addison Cole’s books. I’ve read quite a few and they never disappoint. The newest one I read was The Art of Loving Lacy and it is amazing.

Lacey and Dane met at a wedding and really hit it off. They became long distance friends who talked, Skyped, and told each other everything for over a year but never met up until another wedding brought them back together. They both had attraction for each other but were scared to mess things up. They had different lives in different places so how could they have a relationship.

Lacy works at the National Geographic and has been working hard to get her dream promotion. She loved her job, life and family. She couldn’t uproot everything and give up her life to travel the world with Dane. Plus she would have a constant reminder of her big fear which was his biggest love, sharks. It would never work!

Dane is a great guy but never settled down. He travels the world doing the thing he loves, saving the sharks and educating people about their importance. He will never stop doing what he loves for anyone or anything.

Their story is so bitter sweet. From the beginning you can wait for them to get together. There is so many ups and downs in the story and suspense. I love how sweet Dane is with trying to help Lacy get over her fear. They really are the cutest together but can Lacy deal with her fear of sharks and the idea of Dane putting his life in danger every day? Can Dane see how much people worry about him and his dangerous job? Can they make it through the tragedy that strikes or will they realize that they are better off with someone else?

I definitely recommend this book. It will have you hooked from the first page. This book is part of a series but can be read alone. So head over and get yours today!

Shark tagger an owner of the BRAVE foundation Dane Braden and Lacey Snow have been calling and texting each other for the better part of a year but never really meeting due to Dane always being at sea. Finally at Max & Treat's wedding they meet, and the sparks are electrifying from across the room.

They make the perfect couple, but Lacy is scared of the one thing that Dane works with - Sharks! Following a shark attack that happened to her when she was seven years old Lacy has been afraid of them ever since and feels that is a huge reason not to date Dane. Dane does everything he can to show her that he loves her no matter what, but being that tagging sharks is his living how can he help Lacy overcome her fear of them? With the help of Danica, Dean comes up with a way to help her face her fears head on.

Can Dane and Lacy make it work or will her fear ruin her chance at love? Well this is an Cole/Foster book so if you are long time reader you will be sure of the answer already! If not then definitely read it!

This is is book 4 in the Sweet with Heat series and based on the steamy version Sea of Love. I haven't read Sea of Love but certainly this one has just the right amount of heat that either version will be just as good as each other to read, and it is easy read as a stand alone book as you get enough of any other additional character back stories to not feel lost.

The Weston Bradens have always held a special place in my heart. They grew up without a mother, at least the youngest of them did. They all started feeling their father was losing it talking to a dead woman until they all didn't feel that way anymore. They are truly a family and that family-ness comes through when Addison Cole is writing about Dane and Lacy who met at one of Dane's siblings' weddings. (Anything but sure I have all the apostrophes right in that sentence)

Dane and Lacy met at a wedding and hit it off but did nothing to act on the heat that generated between the two of them, nothing but over a year of texting and Skyping and Facetiming. Did that bring them closer? You bet! But still neither could have anticipated what happens when they meet again.

Lacy has kept a part of her past very secret. Dane, who tags sharks for a living, does not know how scared of sharks Lacy is. He doesn't know why. What he does know is he doesn't want to let her go.

When Lacy walks away from Dane, he takes brotherly advice to try and win her back. You'll need to pick up a copy of The Art of Loving Lacy to see if the advice works or not.

I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

Love is one of the strongest emotions that we can feel -- but fear is just as strong! Lacy and Dane have started their relationship off in a unique way -- primarily through texting and video chats. Lacy is incredibly sweet and enjoyable as a character. Dane is a Braden -- loves with all of his heart; but also stubborn and headstrong -- all the way to his core. He lives for excitement and has a passion for tagging sharks. Lacy is incredibly fearful of sharks; but Dane is fearful of not living out his passion - with sharks AND Lacy! After an anxiety attack and overwhelming feeling that this relationship couldn't be all that she dreams of, Lacy leaves. I believe that Dane kept Lacy at arms' length because of losing his mother at such a young age. He deeply and fiercely loves; but was he ready to give his heart to a woman who can't handle his passion? Dane goes home for advice -- and his family, in true Braden fashion - doesn't fail him. Sometimes taking the dive (and risk of being bit!) is worth every fear. I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

The Art of Loving Lacy is an adorable addition to Sweet Heat series.

The author did a good job making the characters' personalities enjoyable and lovable.

Lacy comes off as shy, persistent, and strong. Dane is brave, determined, and caring. The characters have a strong chemistry. The flirting conversations are written well, especially since much of it was with the characters communicating over the phone and text.

Fear is a big part of the story. Lacy has a fear of sharks after being attacked by one, while Dane is a shark tagger. Dane has a fear of losing the people he loves. I loved that Lacy was willing try to get past that fear to be with Dane. Dane drove me nuts sometimes with how much distance he would put between him and Lacy.

Overall, the story was written well with the characters having to go beyond their comfort zones to pursue love.

I received this story as an Advance Reader's Copy. I volunteered to leave my review. All opinions are my own.

Dane's life is spent trying to save sharks and educate people on their lives, which takes him onto the open ocean often. He and Lacy met and can't stop thinking about each other. When they have the chance to connect again nothing can stop them.

But can they get through their pasts and their present to be with each other? Can they make each other happy in the long term?

This is a fun, flirty love story with an amazing back story. The group of family and friends that these two people have make me want to move to a beach town and find a new crew! My favorite part of Mrs. Cole's stories are the group dynamics, and I love the community that Dane and Lacy are in. I can't wait to read the next books in the series!

A sweet love story that shows us how much one is willing to do to be with the one he/she loves.

I really liked Lacy. She was a bit shy, kindhearted and had a lovable personality. Dane was strong, driven man who loves his family and friends and most off all Lacy without him realising it. Together they made one hot mess. They wanted to be together but were afraid of their feelings for one another. Just when you think they can't be together they both receive a wake-up call that makes them realize they can only be happy together.

If you're looking for a feel good, sweet love story than I definitely recommend this one.

This is the story of Lacy Snow, who has a terrible fear of sharks after being attacked by one at the age of seven, but now she has fallen for a man whose only career is her worst fear.
Dane Braden is a shark tagger and being invited to the wedding of Max & Treat, he finally reunites with Lacy after a year of texts, phone calls and their passion lights up at the reunion.
One problem can Lacy get past her fears, even after a tragedy strikes them, can their love for each other be strong enough., can Dane finally commit!
Another great story by Addison Cole, can’t wait to get stuck in to the next book in this series.

The Art of Loving Lacy! Sigh…
This book was great! I love everything by Addison Cole (and Melissa Foster) and I’m always so grateful when I am given an opportunity to read an advance copy of her books!
Lacy and Dane were amazing! So completely in love with each other and both so held back by their fears. “Watching ” them find their way together in spite of all the things that they thought were keeping them apart was wonderful.
Addison Cole always write stories that speak to my heart and make me happy!

It took me a bit to get into this story, but once I did it was hard to put down I really liked Lacy and Dane. They had a long distance relationship going on when they finally see each other in person the spark is just has hit between. Their biggest obstacle is Dane's job. There is a lot of emotion between the characters, but towards the end boy does this book hit me in the heart. It's a good installment to the series. I can't wait for the next sibling to meet their match.

This has definitely been one of my favorite books of this series! Beyond the relationship developing between Lacy and Dane, the amount of knowledge that it takes to write a book with such amazing details about sharks astounded me. I loved learning as Dane taught Lacy and helped her overcome her fears. He was so patient with supporting her. Obviously a twist caused heartbreak for both of them but I am happy that they were able to achieve their happily ever after.

Whether you chose to connect the dots or go it alone, Cole makes it easy to fall for the characters she creates. Her common themes of life, love and family make her characters easy to relate to and her romances are a swoonworthy treat. What I love most is that she intermingles emotional with lighthearted to create unforgettable stories such as The Art of Loving Lacy. Dane and Lacy face their fears together as they lose their hearts to romance. Beauty wrapped inside of wisdom is a winning combination that leaves a lasting impression on even the hardest of hearts.

Another beautiful love story from Addison Cole and the amazing Braden family. This one was more of a tear-jerker than some of her others, I really connected with the characters and their fears and battles. This was a beautiful story about overcoming hurtles together and realizing that our days are numbered, no one knows when, and the importance of embracing each day with love.

An interesting aspect of this novel was the idea that in order to get over a fear sometimes the best solution is to slowly immerse yourself in what scares you to truly understand it. I loved the juxtaposition of the situation where one person’s life’s passion was the source of the other person’s greatest fear. Working together to overcome obstacles is a wonderful foundation for a strong and healthy relationship and I enjoyed watching the two of them on their journey together.

One of the most important concepts of the book is the fact that life is short and no one knows when their time will be up. That’s why it’s important to live your life doing the things that make you happy and spending time with the people you love.

As always, I look forward to the next book in the sweet with heat series.

I was given a copy of ‘The Art Of Loving Lacy’ in exchange for an honest review, and I honestly can’t get enough of the Braden’s! Each one of the Braden men are all swoon-worthy and Dane is no exception.

This is the fourth book in the ‘Sweet With Heat: Weston Braden series’. and it is just as good as the rest. You can read as a stand-alone or continue to immerse yourself in this family and fictional world by learning more about the characters you have come to adore.

Lacy and Dane have been exchanging flirtatious messages for the longest time, but eventually they are forced to meet when attending the wedding of Dane’s older brother Treat and his partner Max. Lacy feels all kinds of emotions, uncertain as to whether their relationship can blossom in person as much as it has over technology. But the moment she is before Dane she can’t deny those fluttering butterflies.

The chemistry between these characters is crazy, and I adore how sweet and consumed Dane is with Lacy. He is all about her and is the type of man you wish would swoop in and save you.

Dane is daring, he works as part of the BRAVE foundation tagging sharks for a living, and leads a busy lifestyle of travelling and always being on the go. Lacy is sweet and can be quite reserved, but she is relatable in her fears and you learn that she was caught in a freak shark attack when she was young, which has later heavily impacted her when it comes to being near the ocean.

Like the good old hero he is, Dane is determined to try and help Lacy overcome her fear in the hope of them having a real future together, but will he succeed?

The book is full of lots of sweet and adorable moments and I really adored Lacy as a character. You learn that Dane may be outwardly brave, but Lacy is certainly not to be underestimated. I love how she is willing to try despite her debilitating fear, she is powerful and very inspirational.

I love Addison Cole’s true-to-life writing style, her characters feel like family and I adore each and every one of them. She has the knack of writing addictive stories that you become immersed in and I fall more in love with the Braden’s with each book.

This is the perfect sweet summer read, ideal for holiday reading and any romance lover. You will not be disappointed!

Shark week has a whole new meaning! 😉

After reading the previous Braden books, I was looking forward to reading Lacy and Dane’s story. This is book 4 in Addison Cole’s Sweet with Heat: Weston Bradens series. Lacy and Dane met a year previous at a wedding. Since that time, they have had a friends relationship over long distance. Neither was sure they wanted to explore taking the next step. Lacy is strongly attracted to Dane and she considered them to be exclusive, but she also believed Dane had a willing woman in every port. Although, Dane used to be a ladies man, he hasn’t been with anyone else since starting the long distance relationship with Lacy. But Lacy seems to be holding back and Dane doesn’t understand why.

Lacy was attacked by a shark when she was a young girl, and to this date, she thinks she is afraid of sharks. Dane’s whole life is centred around sharks. He has created a foundation to help communities understand and get educated about sharks, while he and his partner and best friend go out to measure and tag sharks. I found the information included in this novel regarding sharks was very enlightening!

What bothered me a bit in the book was Lacy being unsure that she was afraid and then severing her relationship due to her fear of sharks. I was thinking, if she was this thrilled about Dane, I would think she would have done the research and done something to see if her fear was a real roadblock. It also seemed very easy for Dane to convince Lacy’s boss to let her immerse herself in the Brave Foundation, essentially having weeks of vacation and therapy via Dane (and Lacy’s sister).

However, Dane is a true book boyfriend, going beyond what others would likely do to help Lacy with her fears, and helping his best friend with his family issues and alcoholism. Overall, I enjoyed this novel but I wished Lacy was a bit stronger on her own.

I received an ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily reviewing it.

The Art of Loving Lacy is the 4th in the Weston Braden series but could easily be read as a standalone if needed. It's the story of Dane and Lacy and if you have read any of the previous stories, you will be somewhat familiar with these two as they originally met a little over a year ago at Dane's brothers wedding. Over the past year, Lacy and Dane have kept in touch and gotten closer through test messages, phone calls, face time phone calls, etc. They now have a chance to see each other and spend time together at another family member's wedding and the sparks are still flying when they finally get that chance.

Dane is the founder of the BRAVE foundation and a shark tagger that travels the world and Lacy works for a company that markets non-profits and is working very hard for a promotion (these are their main "reasons" for not seeing each other in person over the past year). As they are able to finally spend this weekend together, it is clear that they both have strong feelings for each other but also their own issues to deal with if a relationship between the two of them will work. Lacy had a very bad experience with a shark as a child and carries quite a deep-seated fear of them and it's Dane's love and livelihood. Not to mention his constant travel and her demanding job responsibilities.

It's a great love story as they both work through not only their prior relationship issues but all the roadblocks that seem to keep coming at them as they tip-toe through trying to get their relationship to be successful. I fell in love with Dane and how patient and kind he was with Lacy as he did all that he could to help her try to overcome her paralyzing fear of sharks. And the love that was clear between Dane and his family, Lacy and her sisters as well as Dane's family for Lacy and vice versa. You will not be disappointed in this book. It's a great read with a few unexpected twists and turns and once you start reading, you will not want to put it down!

Lacy Snow has come to celebrate with the Braden’s. Dane Braden is ready to go after what he wants. If you follow the Braden family then you’ll love catching up with everyone here. This latest family saga is a great way to keep you interested because in a way you get to participate.

I felt that I was being let into the group by getting caught up in all the gossip. What better place to catch up than at a wedding? What better way to get some juicy tidbits? It’s a way to give one couple a happy ending while giving two people their start at a relationship. With any new relationship there’s nervousness, a little apprehension but a lot of lovin’.

This story shows the reader that you can have moments that are romantic and intimate but not get too descriptive. It leaves it up to your imagination to fill in the blanks. And that’s what’s great about this author and her series. You get to feel a part of a great group of people while their stories don’t get bogged down with something that can make some readers uncomfortable.

When you attend a wedding don’t you sometimes see a couple that you wonder what their story is? Dane and Lacy could be that couple. Lacy has an issue in her past that has come to the forefront in her present. We see concern but in a loving way. This is one way that makes the story seem so realistic – we all have fears. Our author shows that even men can be nervous and not have their act together when it comes to relationships. At least Dane has someone to help him figure it out. I didn’t see an official ending to their story so I’m hoping that means that we’ll catch up with them in future books. But I did get to see the next Braden to get their story told – looking forward to it.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

This was certainly a unique storyline involving a shark tagger and a girl with a horrible shark phobia. Of course, Dane has been mentioned in previous novels, but he's always seemed so mysterious to me. After reading this one, I think I would describe him as intelligent, extremely sensitive, sexy, and someone that is conflicted between his career passions and a somewhat "normal life."

Lacy was a complex character that wasn't easy to figure out. She was beautiful and smart, very caring and kind, but then would have a little vixen side show up which was fantastic! Like Dane, Lacy was obviously unsure about how to move forward with things but the amount of love and passion coming from her character was evident from beginning to end. One that I loved about this book was the honestly Addison Cole used in writing Lacy's character in regards to her fear, yet curiosity about sharks. There was a time at the aquarium where I could almost feel her anxiety that was also combined with eagerness and excitement, but at the same time, I could almost feel the incredible concern and patience coming from Dane.

The Art of Loving Lacy is yet another wonderful addition to the Weston Bradens' series, as well as to the Sweet with Heat books. This is a romantic, sweet, but at times emotional and stressful novel, but I assure you that you will love it. I usually recommend reading earlier installments in a series first, even if they are stand-alones, but this is one where I don't find that necessary. Lacy and Dane completely carry the story and I never once wondered or cared who anyone else was. Very well done contemporary romance!

The Art of Loving Lacy is Fourth in the Weston Bradens Series by Addison Cole. It can be read as a stand-alone, and is considered to be a ‘Sweet with Heat’ romance.

The story is about Lacy Snow and Dane Braden. Dane is a shark tagger, and Lacy had a bad experience with a shark when she was a young girl. The two had met a year prior to the time that the story takes place. Although, it was a brief meeting, it had a definite impact on them both, and they kept in contact via Skype on a regular basis. It was at a wedding reception a year later, that they had an opportunity to see each other in person again.

I enjoyed how the author kept us guessing as to the outcome of these two that seemed quite inseparable. Is it possible to have developed such deep feelings for each other after only knowing for a short period of time? What about the aspect of Dane’s job and Lacy’s tremendous fear of sharks. Will they be able to build a life together, or will this just be a fleeting moment for them?

It should also be noted that ‘Sweet With Heat’ is not the same as Clean and Wholesome. There is plenty of sex in this story. The difference is how it is presented. It’s not graphic by any means, but as the ‘sweet with heat’ implies, there is definite heat between the characters. Just the right amount that lets the reader know what is going on, yet the reader is able to use their imagination for the details.

I received an Advance Readers Copy of this book, and this is my honest and unbiased opinion. I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.

It’s often said the “Absence makes the heart grow fonder.” The longer the wait, the absence turns into anticipation! That’s what happened to Lacy Snow and Dane Braden in Addison Cole’s “The Art of Loving Lacy.” Lacy and Dane met at the wedding of Dane’s cousin over a year ago but had no time to get to know each other before going back to their individual lives. Now, they are meeting again at Dane’s brother’s wedding, and they have almost drowned in anticipation.

The chemistry that has built during their time apart while they kept in touch via electronic means sizzles when they meet again and grows stronger during the weekend of the wedding. The fear of parting again and where they go from their current connection also grows . . . and how they will resolve Lacy’s fear of sharks with Dane’s career or working with sharks hovers in the background. Of course, life also gets in the way.

Addison Cole does a great job of weaving life into her stories and blends the wisdom of generations in such a way that it is easy to relate and touches lives gently in so many ways. Complex families are also a great part of her stories. We get to know and enjoy the interaction of the dynamic families and how these dynamics fit together. How will the ups and downs of Lacy and Dane’s love finally be resolved . . . or will it fade? Who will be seriously injured? Who will come to the realization that life is an accident waiting to happen? Pick up a copy of “The Art of Loving Lacy” and find the answers to these questions.

Lacy Snow and Dane Braden first met at his brother’s wedding. After the short time they were together, they continued getting to know each other via texts, phone calls and video chats for an entire year since they lived far apart. During that time they developed deep feelings for each other.

When they met again, it was apparent that each felt the desire to see if there was something more beyond what they had come to feel for each other.

However, fear of being more deeply involved plagued them both. Lacy had had a terrifying encounter with a shark. Dane’s life revolved around his passion for tagging sharks. To spend the rest of her life with the man she loved having a career that held so much fear for her was something she worried she would not be able to overcome. Dane also feared that his passion for his life’s work would be something she would never be able to handle.

This love story had them going back and forth about how they would be able to find a way to have a "forever" relationship.

Though I enjoyed these characters, I felt like there was just too much struggling with these two trying to figure out how they could be together.

As with all of Addison’s books, I became immersed in their story from the moment I started reading. I always hate for her books to end. Though not a story I loved, I still enjoyed getting to know Dane and Lacy.

Lacy and Dane met a year ago and had an instant attraction to each other but, due to distance and work schedules they have not seen each other in person since. They have spent almost every day talking, chatting or facetiming. Now they will have a chance to see each other as they both are attending a family wedding. Both are nervous about seeing each other and although they try to go slow, emotions and attraction take over.  Lacy was bitten by a shark when she was younger. She didn’t realize how much of a fear of sharks she had until she was out on a boat with Dane and had a panic attack. This sends their relationship into a downward spiral, because you see, Dane works as a shark tagger for the Brave Foundation. Lacy calls things off because she can’t believe that someone who loves sharks could be with someone who fears them. Dane on the other hand, feels the exact opposite. He is someone who knows all about sharks and is determined to help Lacy conquer her fears. But, will she let him get close enough?  When they end up having to work together, they make a pact to NOT fall in love with each other.  Sounds simple enough, right?  Will they be able to resist each other enough to not fall in love? Take a dive into this beautifully written romance and swim along with Dane and Lacy and see what happens.

Such a beautiful story! I love the Bradens and even thou Dane and Lacy story can be read as a standalone, I rather follow them all! When your life’s passion becomes your work and it’s all you’ve ever dreamed of before you meet that special person and only to make you realize that your choices might be their heartbroken fears….. Dane and Lacy dreamt for so long to finally be able to actually physically see and feel each other that when it all gets twisted ,its heart wrenching. When all you`ve been dreaming about for months comes to a reality, all your senses and feelings come crashing and it makes you even aware of every little things and makes you nervous, can reality meet all your expectations? I could feel the tear in both of their souls and hearts when they started to question their lives…and the pull in Lacy’s head. I even got mad at them for a few chapters until the Braden’s tight family came to the rescue! I love how they are all so close and live through each other‘s pain. Like Hal always says; Family knows no boundaries. Dane’s friendship with Rob is a beautiful story also and as Rob struggle you can see how much Dane cares for him and won’t stop at nothing to help those he truly loves.
Another beautiful written love story by Addison Cole; I can`t wait to read about the next Braden in line!

What an adorably sweet book! Addison Cole has an innate ability to weave a touching and heart wrenching story that never disappoints.

After meeting over a year ago Lacy Snow and Dane Braden have been carrying on a long distance friendship even though they haven't seen each other since that first time. Neither can quite figure out why they haven't found a way to meet up but when opportunity finally provides a chance it's like time stood still and all those incredible feelings have returned.

Yet Lacy quickly realizes that the love Dane has for his Brave Foundation and being an expert in tagging sharks brings up her greatest fear. How could they possibly have a future when she has a well deserved fear of the dangerous creatures Dane works with every day?

Dane is trying to understand Lacy's fears and help her to work through her issues surrounding sharks but there are other issues they must also face if they have any chance of having a future.

Sweet, heart-warming, with plenty of angst and drama, this book kept me reading through the night. I love the Braden family, and dad Hal always has the best advice for his kids. I can't wait for Savannah's story.

I received an ARC and voluntarily offer this review.
