At the same time, I’m afraid of being alone. That’s why I tend to attract a shitload of douchebags and stay with them to fill the void.
So here I am, living in a small apartment in L.A., unable to keep a single decent guy, uncertain about everything in life.
When Viktor—a very sexy Russian drummer who's been warming my bed recently and not exactly a douche, but I’m sure he’ll show his true colors eventually—invites me to an anti Valentine's Day party where he and the band play a couple of songs, I don't know it's going to be one of the craziest and most terrible nights of my life.
Especially when it turns out it's not an anti V-day party.
And I see Mike Gennaro there.

So much packed into this super satisfying quickie. I love the triangle of Viktor, the Russian drummer, Mike, the Italian actor heartthrob, and Maggie, the architect/writer. Extremely surprised that this short story pulled me in and piqued my curiosity enough to want to continue and see how this story ends.

This is not really the type of romance for me. I don't like when both MCs are screwing other people, and in this case in an drug-fueled orgy at the end.
About the best thing that I can say about Dirty Beats (Love Off Camera #0) is that it is a very quick read.
The author is skilled and writes well. The sexual scenes in Dirty Beats (Love Off Camera #0) (there are several in the book including within the first three pages) are quite graphic, not safe, but other than for a pair MFF scenes, very vanilla. There is quite a bit of pot smoking and a pot-fueled orgy at the end of this book.
If I hadn't gotten this book for free, I never would have read it. After reading Dirty Beats (Love Off Camera #0) I doubt that I will read anything else the author writes. Just not my cup of tea - YMMV.

Close to a five star, if only it was longer (that's what she said). This quick, dirty read definitely got my attention and has me hooked to read the next part of this story. Carrie and Mike better smarten up and finally come clean (nope, not going to go there this time), and poor Vik has got to grow a pair and not settle being runner up.

She hates Valentine as her mother ruined her life and she goes from one bad relationship to another. She meets a Russian drummer and she starts having great sex. He takes her to an anti Valentine dance where he is very playing. What will happen to her? Will she have fun? See what will happen

This was a good quick read and I really liked it. It is the first book in the series and also the first I have read from this author. It was well-written with great characters that have tons of chemistry i will be checking out the rest of the series

I really enjoyed this book! It was fast paced and flowed nicely. The turn of events were done beautifully and the ending was terrific!
