This is my third book in this series. It had a lot of useful information. I got a little more out of the other two when they made the turn towards how to turn the exegesis into an expositional sermon…thus I was hoping for a little more in this book on the formatting of a sermon on the Gospels and Acts. However, the author only briefly offers three alternatives and only offers brief examples of those sermon types from two passages. It would have been better if he picked one formula and illustrated it better.

This was a really helpful guide. It assumes that the reader knows biblical Greek though, and often doesn't provide translations when giving examples of things using Greek.
