Wait It Out: A Daily Devotional

Rate this book
Too often the message of purity is said to exclusively mean to “save sex” for marriage. Yet to glorify sex as the only thing worth waiting for is to diminish the true beauty of what love really is."Wait It Out" is a book on purity like you've never read before. It's a 15 day devotional encouraging teens, young adults, singles and couples to consider waiting. Not out of fear. Not out of restriction. But out of the freedom to love ourselves enough to know that we are worth waiting for.

I haven’t yet completed the journal sections, only read through the devotion book. I loved what Jamie had to say— especially her focus on understanding that we have all we need from The Source. With that, we can be content because we are always fulfilled. When all other relationships fail, The Source is a constant, whom we can always rest in and run to.

If you are in your waiting process not only for a husband/wife but also for intimacy, you should totally read this book. So simple, yet so encouraging. Let God talk and guide you through this. It's just beautiful!

A great read but kind of light on deep theology but it’s on dating and relationships so what do you expect. Wonderful read if you are looking.
