A small and non-technical pocket field guide which is very well illustrated and has just about the right amount of information for the non-technical. It doesn't compare of course with Albrecht Von Gunnarsmates comprehensive guide to the mycology of Britain with which of course we are all familiar, but then one doesn't need a wheelbarrow to carry it around either.

Came recommended by (the late) Professor Adnate of Utrecht and has so far proved invaluable. Sadly the Professor was not carrying a copy at the time of his last meal.
