Eric Birdwell | It’s all about him. It always was, and it always will be. Heartless as ever, Eric has come back from Tokyo to run his new business venture with his mind one-hundred percent into the game. But after burning a toxic relationship with his ex-wife to the ground, Eric operates his love life like a business—a revolving door of satisfied one-night stands. With no intentions of collecting the ashes to rebuild with any other woman, the rich and handsome, Eric, only lives to look out for his best interest, no matter how beautiful the woman.
Arabella Jones |Armed with beauty without a bucket of confidence. Running low on experience and living at home with her mother, Arabella’s life is about as exciting as the stack of paperwork Eric has to sift through on his desk. She’s not dating, and her only friend is the boss’ niece at the spa. Convinced that she has nothing to offer a man, Arabella begins to step up her game just to shut up her friend’s criticism that she lives like a child.
When Eric meets Arabella, he can’t seem to help himself. She’s young and beautiful, and he’s experienced and bossy. This should be easy. Another notch, another score. The problem is, this is just the beginning of a web of complications, lies, and twists. But who’s gonna come out on top, Eric or Arabella?
3.7 For a while I felt that this story was heading towards a reverse harem type story and I was intrigued. Arabella is a inexperienced young woman and I found it very shocking about how little she did know. For a while I was rooting for Santiago but then I changed gears and was all for Eric, being well developed in both his life and career. There were moments through this story that pulled me in and then others that I was a tad turned off, the details to fashion and products I felt weren’t necessary. I felt like it was a name dropping session and some of the conversations between the guys were a turn off, this was not continuously occurring throughout the story so I continued to read further along and was pleasantly surprised with the events that had taken place. Seeing Arabella take the reins on her own life was empowering and I’m proud of her for standing up for what she wants.
Once again, this author has taken the most egotistical bastard, and made me like him. I hated Eric in the original series, and he really hasn't changed but the author has written him in such a way, I find myself going he's found 'it' this time
This book definitely my favorite from Dawn Wright and definitely the steamiest book that I've ever read from her. This book is the beginning of Eric and Arabella, more about Arabella and her journey to become an independent woman and that's my fav part of the book, there's a glimpse of Eric's personal life too, enough to make me understand why he did what he did, why he act like a bad boy, but still I'm not a fan of him though, especially when he acts like a j*rk, he's thinking with his d**k, he's easily distracted by women, and that's pretty annoying, but we'll see what happens in the second book. This is a slow pace book packed with drama and feelings (I wanted to slap Eric most of the time), not a big fan in the beginning with how annoying Eric is, especially with those manwh*re acts, but the more I read the more I enjoy this book and the more entertaining everything is and loveee that ending, it makes me craving the next book.
So if you're looking for book packed with drama and steaminess, I think you'll like this one.

To start with this book had me captivated from the start.
It’s starts with a woman that lives at home with her mum she is 27 and still a virgin she works in a spa and she likes erotic books she has demons that she needs to fight with her losing her sister to her father leaving and her brothers leaving her to deal with everything.
After talking to her friend Sammie she decides that she needs to live life to the full and that’s when she meets Eric he takes her number but the number was suppose to be for someone else.
Eric has all the money in the world has all the sex and excitement in his life he sees Arabella and he wants her he keeps her hanging on for a few weeks but he can’t get her out of his head he just wants to use her for his own pleasure no relationship no talk of marriage he’s heartless until he starts feeling things for her.
Will his head agree with heart or will he still lead her on? I can’t wait to find out what happens between these 2.
I am giving this book 5/5 amazing book

As I started reading this book, I was all for Arabella and Santiago’s relationship........
BUT, then enter Eric!!! A man who has his life in order. Once he knows what he wants, nothing will stop him from getting it. Including innocent Arabella. Why can’t he get her out of his mind and into his bed?
From beginning to end, this story kept me captivated. The story line flows like any great romance novel should. A story of new beginnings, growing up and discovering that sometimes all it takes is one person to change your life forever.
Can not wait to see what’s next from this amazing author.
Ok, so I was a little unsure as to how I felt about this book. It's a solid 3.7 stars. It's the kind of book that there are parts that I absolutely loved and they spoke to my heart but there were parts that I just did not enjoy at all and that broke my heart. I will admit that I had to come back to this book when I was feeling more patient because there was just something I didn't feel from the beginning. I will admit that I kind of loved Arabella because she was a little more innocent and had so much spirit so she kind of saved it for me. I will say that regardless of the story I do love Dawn's writing style but for me, I just wasn't feeling this one, but I will be reading the next series by Dawn in the future. This is my honest and unbiased review.
Otay so I struggled at first with this book and I wasn't sure how I felt about any of the charcters... then I almost wondered if she wasn't gonna try and hook up with both at the same time. Arabella is young, inexperienced and way to sheltered. Its almost sad how little she knew and didn't get to experience like most people. I wasn't impressed by Santiago but she was but he ended up being selfish. Eric is a a*s but at the end of the day he takes care of business. That ending though...
Holy smokes! This is one awesome read. Loved Eric in this book. Arabella is a sweet innocent girl that falls into bed with Eric. This book keeps you wanting to turn the pages so you know what happens next. Definitely a hot read and funny in some areas. Sammie is a riot. Loved this book.
I dont know where I really want to begin. Lets start off with Arabella. The fact that her mama didnt teach this poor child nothing. She was so over protective of her. I was so happy that the glo-up was real . Shoot, I felt that moment. I had to reread that a few times. I was screaming Yes!!!! Let that love come down girl! . I dont care what noone say she had to relieve that stress. Dealing with her mama stressed me out! I aint in the business of disrepecting somebody mama, but I really could of slapped her. Mama walked in on too many moments . Got her feelings hurt when she walked in in that convo with Sammie. I hollered!
Eric. Ummmm I dont know if I like him. Now he did some thangs , I wouldnt mind getting a little of. I just felt like he still holding on to his ex-wife. He letting that disaster mess up something good. I know he has deep feelings for Arabella. I dont know why he just wont let it out. Thats why he getting on my nerves . I just wish he would get rid of that biker yuck and just give his heart to Bella. Hmmm, He better get it together. I popped an attitude a few times. I called him all kinds of stupid! My nerves was getting bad!
Satiago , Boy he better get that D game up, because Eric had me at Hello and he had me at Bye! ok ok . I am NOT saying nothing else . Ill tell the whole book. The end have me mad because I need part 2 like today! Actually like yesterday . Im not about to play with Ms. Dawn because I was all in this.
I received an advanced/review copy of this book. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content and honesty of my review.
This was about a 2.5/3 star review for me. The only character I really liked was Arabella, and she still made some questionable choices that had me shaking my head. I loved seeing the growth in her and how she seems to grow a semblance of a backbone by the end of the book. That was the highlight of the story for me; I greatly enjoyed watching her progress. Otherwise, this book just wasn't for me. I would highly encourage you to still read it if it sounds good to you, though.
