This is exactly the kind of watercolour collection I want to make myself. A unique and artistic way to record street houses in Taiwan. It’s so much more meaningful to use painting to record what we see in our journey than simply taking snapshots. I also like the author’s notes on watercolour painting.

這本書有翻譯成其他語言，原本想買來送外國朋友，在正式買前先讀看看，但後來還是發現台灣建築真的好醜…好難克服…鐵皮屋看到最後很疲乏。畫者確實已經很厲害利用畫筆將用肉眼看到會很糟的街屋美化，可將此書當作一種旅遊參考，也是一個台灣獨有風景的紀錄。
