These little novellas are seriously addictive! I love revisiting the OG tribe every time, and getting more slices of life with Josie and Haeden is such a treat. They’ll always be one of my favorite couples, and these stories remind me why every single time.

I don't know why I chose to skip over novellas when I originally read the series. It was obviously a mistake because this little short stories are absolutely adorable.

Barbarian's Valentine follows Maddie/Hasssen and Josie/Haeden. The girls want to spice up their bedroom attire to set their men aflame.

It was super sweet, super cute, and super quick.

This is just a short, sweet slice of life on the Ice Planet. But Ruby Dixon manages to pack a lot of love into this sweet story!

When you are pregnant you don't always feel pretty, and sexy, and like your man wants you. Ruby explores these feelings with humor and love and some really hot sex!

It's no secret that I adore the Big, Blue Barbarians....they just get better and better. They are almost too perfect. This is a wonderful Valentine's gift!

This one was cute, love how more human holidays are showing up. It's funny to see how the guys react to the holidays and this time around was no different. Maddie's lingerie wasn't received good at first, until she explained things to Hasssen, then he loved it. Josie and Haeden seemed a bit at odds, but once they talked things through it was all better for them.

Maddie and Josie decide to make some sexy lingerie out of their leather and fur pieces to seduce their men for this special day. Their mates responses to it is funny, but they do of course end up enjoying it. 😜

Josie celebrated Valentine's day with her resonance mate Haeden and it was hot and sweet. This is a very short and fast read, 6 chapters plus epilogue. We are updated on some of the tribe members and their cute little kits in their everyday routine on the ice paradise. The symbiant keeps resonating mates until their species is secure in numbers. Her son Joden is soooo cute.

1. The sa-khui “Bree-shit” for Bridget is absolutely hilarious.
2. Hassen pulls ultimate thats what she said (“it’s going to be a long ride”)and I laughed. Hard.

Hassen and Cashol are the last two males left on the beach that have been separated from their mates. With the brutal season ending, the dragon dude with his Veronica, fly the guys back.

Maddie realizes that the weather is clearing up and asks Rokan if Hassen will be home soon. With his confirmation, Maddie decides to celebrate Valentine’s Day with Hassen. She gets Josie in on it as well and they make lingerie for their mates homecoming night.

Maddie and Hassen send their son to Summer and Warrek’s for the night while they go get intimate behind Bek’s hut (hilarious).

Josie is upset because her son told her that her mate, Haeden, doesn’t “tickle” her anymore. Josie worries that home life has gotten overwhelming with two kits and a third on the way. She feels unattractive and doesn’t feel desirable. Garden’s the perfect mate because he’s honestly the happiest he’s ever been and he enjoys his wife’s lingerie, after he figures out what it is lol.

I’m loving these little novellas catching up with characters. Ruby makes sure they’re happy, no big drama. I love that too.

Adored this novella. Honestly, Maddie and Hassen are one of my all-time favorite couples on the ice planet, they are so damn naughty and I flove it. I loved seeing more from them. I was not as big of a fan for Josie and Haeden, but that’s more of a Josie issue for me personally. Haeden is adorable and has the patients of a saint. But I loved that these two made ice planet “lingerie” for their guys…that is awesome. We get to see lots of our favorite characters from the original group. I always want more.

A short but cute novella. Maddie creates a Valentine's day surprise for Hassan since he has been away for months at Icehome. Josie uses the holiday to have a child free day for some alone time with Haeden. It was nice to check back in with both couples and see how much their relationships have progressed since their books.

Sweet little slice of life

Super sweet, both these couples are super relatable in different ways! I feel like I’ve been both these women (minus aalllll the babies) and loved how they managed to find/MAKE some very happy times. I also laughed at both reactions to lingerie....cuz frankly, this is honestly how men in the real world tend to react! “What are you wearing? Why? Are you hot, do you have a fever?” Yep, that’s men.

Gosh I love this series

I have read this entire series and some of my favorites more than once! This is a short novella and catches up with two couples who previously had their own books. I strongly recommend you start at the beginning! The new series is good but going back to original barbarians is even better.
