I have never had a particular fondness for beach-side vacations. Instead, I yearned for something more adventurous, something that would challenge me mentally and physically. And so, at the ripe age of 47 I set off on an ambitious Interrail journey across Europe from London to Sofia and back. Over the course of nine days, through ten countries, I traversed the continent all by train. In my memoir 'Just The Ticket', I recount my odyssey through some of Europe's most storied cities - steeped in history and culture - as well as the colourful characters I encountered along the way, who changed my perspective on life forever.
Insightful and very interesting. A simple story of a journey through central Europe, from the planning stages all the way through to the journey itself. - see more on Webador Simply honest reviews
