Tea for Two is the seventeenth novel in the bestselling Tea Series. The series serves up fast, fun reads full of action, romance, and laughs. A fresh take on the serial novel, not every mystery is solved at the end of the day-or at the end of the book. Each installment keeps you coming back for more!
The O'Flynn family tree is growing, Cara is trying to cut back her tea intake - even though she thinks it's ridiculous, it makes A.J. feel better - and Teagan is planning her non-wedding.
There are changes afoot for the O'Flynns. Transformation is harder to accept when the center of your family universe has been taken, but Cara and Teagan are committed to moving forward.
I signed up for Goodreads years ago, with every intention of joining in. Life got in the way. Three adult children, five grandchildren, and blessed to have my father able to travel and visit (at age 95) has been keeping me busy. Since signing up, I've been to Ireland a couple of times, accompanied my father on a number of cruises (including from England to the US and from California to Hawaii and back). I know just how blessed I am.
It's time to get back to my life and a huge part of my life is reading and getting to know my readers. It may take a little time to get accustomed to this site and to populate everything, but know that I am working on it.
For those generous enough to have stayed with me all these years, I owe you such a debt of gratitude. I'm back and much more focused.
The characters are still likeable enough, or maybe I keep reading the new books to see how the series ends. But after 16 books with nothing earth shaking happening I'm kind of tired of them. They were a bit charming in the first few books with some half decent intrigue to keep me going. Now they just seem self righteous and tedious. All the side commentary about "the world today" and how none of them are "judging" anyone else's actions but, "that's not for me" gets a bit redundant.
Although I've loved reading the Tea Series, book 17 disappointed. Very little action, mostly conversations between characters, and the book ended suddenly with no warning. It didn't leave me wanting to read Book 18, if there is one.
This series needs to go somewhere -- she needs to open more items in the trunk or something. It's a good story, but the items in the trunk are taking too long to open. Like how the father character is reacting -- good information about that story line. Like the Honey visitation :)
