I grew up on Final Fantasy video games, Dragonlance novels, RPG Maker computer programs, and Warhammer table-top gaming armies.
All this epic fantasy is probably why I have planned such an epic series. The Legends of Gilia is a 15-book-long series! Now I'm working on my newest series: The Origins of Gilia!
I live in San Antonio with my wife and wonderfully creative daughters.

I like the basic plot concept. I liked the initial characters and how they were fleshed out. However the feel of the book is that the author wants to make this another ‘Lord of the Rings’, but a whole lot longer. I finished the first 3 books and started the next 3. However, it wears me out trying to wade through the minutia. I didn’t finish book 4 and won’t continue with the series.

I choose this rating because this series well written and thrilling from start to finish. The characters are personable and likeable! A great read. Great work Mr. Long!
