The author is a previous priest in a satanic cult. He was controlled by fear and lived in fear until he gave His life to Jesus in his 30's. So, he knows what fear is and how to overcome it. The keys he shares in this book are the Cross, the Word, the Blood... He teaches that the number one weapon of satan is fear. He says, "Saints, we are living in times of war in the unseen world, because the enemy knows that his time is short. One of his greatest weapons against the Church is to strike us down with the spirit of fear." However, we can declare:
So what is the reason satan wants you to fear? Because he wants you to miss or hinder your destiny and the destiny of those whom you are called to minister too. He says, "Once believers have found freedom in Christ at the cross, it is our purpose to share that freedom with others-believers and unbelievers alike...Someone somewhere is depending on you to do what God has called you to do. I repeat myself: Someone somewhere is depending on you to do what God has called you to do."
One of the things I appreciated about this book is that is full of prayers, renunciations, declarations to taking victory over fear. One of them I excerpt here and you can pray is:

I confess that I will not give any territory to the enemy.

I praise the Lord with all my soul, that even though the devil has formed weapons against me, they did not prosper, in Jesus' name.

All the stars! Wow! What an intense amazing book! John Ramirez is an ex-satanic worshiper who teaches you in this book how to destroy certain powers of evil with the power of Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit.
John does not hold back and I loved hearing how he was delivered from such a brutal, evil occult. So many people are living life with a cloud of fear constantly around them. This book teaches you how to walk in your authority in Jesus Christ and how to cast out evil spirits that are tormenting you.
Every Christian should have this book on their shelf. And to the unbelievers I pray that the eyes of their hearts may be enlightened to the Truth.

The entirety of this book's message relies heavily on the assumption that the spirit world exists, Jesus Christ and also the Devil are real and external entities that exist outside of our imagination. The book discusses the various ill-intended demonic activity or witchcraft that is directed at individuals, communities, nations, and etc which can only be deterred through prayer to Jesus Christ. The conversion of the author from witchcraft practices to Christianity initiated following a dream which involved being rescued from hell. This was the onset of the author's Journey into a Christian experience. The author believes strongly in the validity of his claims founded in a strong "PERSONAL EXPERIENCE" however, personal experiences can not be extrapolated nor transferred to other people. Thus despite the appeal of his message that Jesus loves us, the validity remains to be proven.

Destroying Fear by John Ramirez is a great Christian read. I liked how he explored each of the ways to destroy our fear. Fear causes a loss in our relationship to God. Things like anxiety and stress can destruct the relationship we have with God. I also enjoyed his stories of how one's faith was restored and the person was healed. Beautiful stories, with real meaning. John Ramirez shows how faith in God can restore all that was once lost. I too, believe our faith can save us. This book is a step-by-step guide that breaks down our walls and shows us the way back to accepting God in our lives. Destroying our fears is the easiest way of doing that.

A truly powerful and awe-inspiring story of a former satanist and now evangelist for the gospel of Jesus Christ. One will find prayers and declarations so powerful that they will want to stop what they are doing and start speaking them over their life as soon as they read them in this book. John Ramirez has one of the craziest testimonies of our modern time and upon reading this book or YouTubing him, you will not be disappointed.
In regards to spiritual warfare, it is hard to beat one who used to be a master at it on the devil’s side of things! He unmasks and exploits many strategies and plots of the wicked one and those who serve the wicked one and you will get a firsthand account of how the devil operates in our modern society. It is appalling to think that the devil can be comfortable in our churches! This should stop us in our tracks and inspire us to charge him out lest he incur power from on high to disrupt and destroy all his efforts, fear in particular. There is only one who is worthy of fearing and submitting to, and it sure isn’t satan or the world, it is almighty God and let that be our pursuit as we fulfill His will in this rapidly declining and spiritually toxic day and age.

This was a very insightful book loaded with many wonderful Bible verses and confessions/prayers that left me feeling amped up in the Spirit. There were so many testimonies of God's grace and mercy towards His children in this book that it left me in awe of how good God is and how much He loves us. The enemy is defeated and it has no hold on anyone who knows their authority in Jesus Name! Great book.

This book took a while for me to read, as I like to let it soak in. I take pictures of the prayers and meditate on them. This book is ripe with ways to combat Fear in our lives. From pastors to those who have been rejected or let us stray in their entire lives I recommend this to anyone who is ready once and for all to overcome fear and have victory in Jesus name. We do not have to be subject to any spirit of fear, but we overcome in our delivered by the blood of the Lamb today.

I have read all of John's books so far. His books are inspiring with a kick in the pants to show us that we are meant for so much more in God's Kingdom! He really leans into scripture and the sheer power of prayer in all aspects of daily life. Thank you John... God's message has been received loud and clear!

Destroying Fear by John Ramirez was published just in time for the world to see fear manifest through the earth during the lockdown of the Coronavirus. Fear has been a tactic of the enemy in every generation since the fall of Adam and Eve. In Destroying Fear, John Ramirez explains how fear and worry prevent us from walking out the calling that God has created us to do. When we live free from fear and worry and we walk out the calling that we were created to do, we are dangerous to the enemy and his kingdom of darkness. Each chapter has stories of experiences from around the world and throughout history to show the reader that they are not alone in this spiritual battle. He explains how rejection, lowlifes, sickness, unworthiness, inferiority, failure, self-pity, guilt, shame, disgrace, suicide and isolation are all voices from fear. The most powerful part of this book is the pages of prayers and spiritual declarations that are found in every chapter. These prayers will help every reader become confident in their purpose in their life and their place in Gods Kingdom. I rarely give out 5 star reviews but this book was more than deserving. It is full of powerful prayers at the end of each chapter that will strike down and destroy any stronghold or tactic that the enemy has attempted to use against your life. Written by a man who was a General in Satan’s army for over 25 years, the son of a warlock, who found Jesus in a mighty conversion experience. John Ramirez explains how FEAR is Satan’s number one tool he uses to cripple the saints of God. He explains how knowing the word of God is essential and how we can use “scripture arrows” and “praise punches” to fight back. There is a deep focus on the full armor of God, spiritual warfare, and understanding our position of victory in Christ in this book.

Through 18 chapters like: Facing the Spiritual Pharaoh, Identifying the Source of Fear, Doing Damage to the Kingdom of Darkness, and Giving Fear an Eviction Notice, Ramirez shares from personal experience about how fear isn’t necessary and doesn’t have to rule your life. I highly recommend this book as a guidebook on spiritual warfare against fear.

Very powerful and honest book
If you feel fear and want to free yourself first read this book and you will understand where it comes from and what is behind that. Trust God and believe He is more powerful than anything. It is hard for someone who doesn’t believe in the power of Jesus but keep praying and calling His name. If you don’t have a deep personal relationship with Jesus then you will be shaken by life turbulences but if you build that trust you will see the miracles coming into your life.
I honestly recommend this book and John Ramirez testimony . Very powerful.

This book was an incredible writing and compelling to read with that also had encouraging and helping us to find the way and fight with the fear that we are all had to deal and facing within everyday life and this is need to be must more intension because fear can because of the lies and keeping making a bad decision. His Princess Warrior
I've been tormented by the spirit of fear and anxiety all my life. My mother was a Catholic and practiced witchcraft. Demons tormented me from childhood and talking about it wigged people out. I've given my life to the Lord decades ago but never experienced authentic deliverance. Not even in a church with a "deliverance" ministry. I thank Abba Father for John Ramirez for showing me what deliverance looks like during the most difficult season of my life as the enemy rages against me. I am the daughter of the most High God! I am His princess warrior!!!

I Trust The Testimony in This Book
Fear has been a Pharaoh in my life. Reading this book showed me that I could go back deep in my lineage and take power over this bully of torment. Though it is a fight, I know I have the victory! If you want to understand and become victorious, this book is a God-given tool to arm you for battle.

Wonderful! As a Christian having personal issues with fear, I found it extremely informative and invigorating. I would actually recommend it to anyone feeling oppressed by their life experience. Find FREEDOM through this book!
