A great follow-up to "Should Be Dead"
Valkyrie Smith is still on the trail of The Collector, the serial killer who murdered her husband and son. She only manages to stay a step ahead of the FBI who want her in custody for impersonating an FBI agent. She arrives in Lodestone, Montana, just hours after The Collector has claimed his most recent victim.
Someone is abducting women in Lodestone. The most recent victim was taken from her bed as her husband slept beside her. The local cops ask Valkyrie to help them with the case and she reluctantly agrees.
Then just when you think it's over . . . it's not.

flawed premises...
matters not that the lead protagonist is working to track a psychopath, the very killer who ruined her life, destroyed her husband's and son's, and went on to kill again and again afterwards. believable characters make up the supporting cast and crews and Valkyrie is is a kick butt advocate of justice and blood hounding the bad guys, but she still does it all on the wrong side of the laws she is supposed to upholding as a self-professed FBI agent. so I can't in all honesty uphold j.g.'s series of determined tales about the varied and tangled web of lies she leaves wherever she goes in the pursuit of her family's killer. sorry, j.g. much prefer Tanja and Joe...

Who is He
These people in this book just keep ratcheting up.Each time you think you've got it bang you're wrong. These characters just get worse the Villains I mean. I am absolutely flabbergasted because each time I thought she had caught the real culprit I was wrong. I'm just waiting for the next book with baited breath. You must read this Author.

This is a great read for anyone who enjoys a good mystery with a serial killer with a strong hero that doesn't give up and is a female.
