Every year, a giant monster shows up and tries to stomp on a major metropolitan city, and every year, the North American High Protectorate Command fields a new Singular Task Force Unit—a giant monster-fighting robot. It’s good for the global economy, this monster fighting, but when a special agent of a special unnamed organization (the TLA, in fact) discovers that honest-to-goodness space aliens are targeting Earth, he has to figure out how to up the STFU’s game. Before the real monsters arrive.
Mark Teppo has written more than a dozen novels across a number of genres. He's a book-seller, paper-hoarder, and troublemaker. Not necessarily in that order.
This is not the 1st book from Mark Teppo that I have read I continue to enjoy all of his work. This book was a good tale of robot versus monster fighting and the background story was pretty good too.
