When a bottle containing a treasure map floats ashore, Princess Sabrina and her butterfly Zazz seek out the treasure for all the people in their land. Original.
Jahnna N. Malcolm is the pen name for husband-and-wife team Jahnna Beecham and Malcolm Hillgartner. Together they've written four musicals, two movies, three CD-ROM games, and nearly one hundred books, including the popular series The Jewel Kingdom. They met in the theater and were married on the stage using Marlowe's famous love letter from "The Passionate Shepherd to His Love" as their wedding vows.
The sapphire princesses helper Zazz told her that someone was coming and it turned out to be her friend which was a water sprite. When it came it showed her a bottle in it was a old piece of paper, they took it out and it was actually a treasure map. They decided to hunt for the treasure the princess said" I'll be right back" When she came out everybody was gone! She said" Well that's a shame....but I still have the treasure map so they wont know what the treasure is even if they find it". Then she went to look for her friends and the treasure. When she found all of her friends they followed the instructions to the treasure and they were surprised that the treasure was actually a flower. Then they knew where the paper came from because it came from the flower. Do you know why the flower had it in it? Well because it's a magical flower. Zazz said the treasure map only came once a year and so that is why the flower and treasure map are very very very special.
I really like this book and I feel like I could kiss it right now!
This was a really cute treasure hunting story! It truly showed how sometimes those who are overbearing are just wanting to do so out of the kindness of their hearts! Sabrina learned a lot of good lessons in this book and her friendship with her kingdom increased !!
An excellent tale of treasure hunting and friendship. This book made me finally have some love for the Sapphire Princess, who I generally consider the least plot relevant.
Fantastic! Who wouldn't want to go on a treasure hunt after reading this story? I liked the adventure Sabrina and her friends went on, even if it... Got a little out of hand for them. There's some great lessons to learn from this story.
This book is a good stand-alone, though I highly recommended the ENTIRE series to young readers who like fantasy - they're all a must read!
