This was a strange book that caught my attention due to the name and a purple cat on the cover. Surely what kind of combination is this? And so I chose to give it a read to figure out where the connection may lie while the shortness of the story itself was a blessing.

Basically this is one of those books that young boys who are starting into chapter books would enjoy reading. With all the vehicular upgrades going on, the fun combination of sounds filling up each page and the easy reading it is most definitely a swift read although a bit repetitive with a few changes depending upon the timeline of that particular page. Furthermore Catfish is just a model of the creative naming used on the other characters within the book itself.

My only concern, though, with this particular book is the recklessness that is showed in the pages and when punishment has been given out the troublemaker seeks how to get around it for their own means. And although they do a good deed thus are forgiven by the rest of the community who ends up overlooking their past sins for lack of a better world I honestly don't think the protagonist has learned what he should thus allowing him to return to endangering the community in the future.

Due to the last portion I would recommend adult readers read this book before allowing younger readers and then making their own decision about the story's contents themselves.
