When Tillie is matched with Cole, she can't believe her luck that an older man has so many common interests with her. But what will she do when she finds out the things he wants from her? To make her his little girl and paddle her ass pink like the pajamas he wants to buy her?

If you're looking for something short and hot, Dear Hungry Wolf should hit the spot. Just be forewarned that it's a serious case of insta-love and there's little to no relationship or character development because the story is so short. It also doesn't quite live up the the heat-level I was expecting from the title. But it is cute and the daddy kink is as mild as the heat level is.

Thank GOD it was short because this book was truly terrible. Poorly written with flat, uninspired characters. I know reading romance sometimes requires that you suspend reality (or at least your concept of it) for a few hours but am I really to believe a 37 year old multi-millionaire oil magnate is going to propose marriage to a sheltered, 22 year old art student whom he’s known practically FIVE MINUTES (ok it was two weeks)? And I’m also supposed to believe that 10 years later they’d still be married? Doubtful. And what was up with Cole proposing to Tillie at the same event that his BFF/ business partner popped the question to HIS girlfriend only seconds before? Like he couldn’t stand for the other guy to have the spotlight for a few seconds. I truly wanted to stop reading at that point but it was literally only a few minutes from the end so I decided to press on. What a waste of my morning!

Dear Hungry Wolf by Vivian Ward a four-star read that will satisfy your hunger. This was my first read by this author and I am hoping to read more in the future as I enjoyed this one, the subject isn’t one I would usually jump for, but it was well done. I am so glad that I embraced the Matchmaker series as it brought me this new author for one. They are all sweet romances for Valentines and just what you need, short, sweet and hot as all hell to warm us on these cold winter’s nights.

A very fast paced but entertaining read. I am a big fan of Vivian Ward but this one was on the edge to disappointment. I felt it lacked depth and some story. I liked it was written in dual POV because that gave me more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters and did make the story more believable. The characters had a nice chemistry and connection with the reader. It is an all instant romance. Instant attraction and love.
The male characters and alpha is Cole. He is 37 years old and tries the matchmaking because his friend has succeeded that way and found his love. Cole is a very well known billionaire that wants to find a woman that wants him for who he is not what he is.
Tillie is a 22 year young college student who have been sheltered by her parents and brother all her life. She is as innocents as she can be. Her family is very religious. She wants to find a man who can give her love and affection. She have seen an add about the matchmaking bureau and decides to try it.

She is sheltered and lives by the college with her brother and he is supposed to look after her. But she sneaks out several times and stands in front of the building kissing Cole. Does not sound right to me. There are several more things that do not seam right.

But I like the potential of the story and it was an entertaining, engaging and captivating read in spite of these things. It is very short but still fits well into the matchmaking series.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is a book in the Matchmaker series written by a variety of authors. This was a quick read about an older man and a younger woman. Cole was a billionaire businessman who owned an oil company and never had serious relationships because women only wanted his fame and money. When his business partner told him about What The Heart Wants Matchmaking agency, he decided to try it, on the condition he could stay anonymous at first. Tillie was a young woman about to graduate college and she was very sheltered. Tillie only dated one guy before, and her parents picked him out, he was scared to even hold her hand. While she was in college, she lived with her brother, who also watched over her. When Cole was matched with Tillie, he was instantly pleased. Cole had wanted to be matched with an innocent woman and since Tillie was a virgin, he knew she would be perfect. Cole wanted a little girl he could spoil and Tillie wanted an older man who would be dominate and take care of her. They entered into a DDLG relationship and Cole was chocked to learn Tillie didn't know who he was or care about his money. I liked this story, i liked how Cole wanted to take care of Tillie and i love how she didn't care about his money and only wanted to be with him. I just wish it would have explained how her family reacted to them being together. Good one.

I received this short story with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Tillie and Cole. Cole is the owner of of the largest oil companies so for him are a one and done. When his partner meets and is getting ready to propose to the woman he has been dating it makes Cole wonder. Can he find a woman who will want him for him not for his fortune? Cole has yet to meet this woman but wonders if Grace Graham wonder matchmaker may just have the touch to find him this woman. Tillie is sick of being under her families rule. They are very religious and have not let her date but to a boy of their choosing. Tillie felt no spark and had no desire to either date or marry this man. So when she comes across the matchmaking advertisement at school she decides it is time to choose for herself. She never knew a man like Cole and isn't sure what he would see in a woman like her. Can they find a HEA or will their difference be more than they can overcome?

This is a great story. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Cole is tired of the same type of women in his life always wanting him for what he has then for himself. So when his friend suggests a match making service he gives in and signs up. Tillie was raised in a strict family and she thought once she went to college things would get better but she was made to live with her older brother. And he was worse than living at home. She signed up for the match making service and wrote to Cole aka Hungry Wolf letters. Cole was intrigued by Tillie especially by how sheltered she has been. He asks to meet knowing that Tillie will have to sneak out and sparks fly between them when they do meet. Cole knows that she is different so he treats her different from any other woman he has had in his life. What will her family think about them being together? Can Cole show them he wants more with Tillie?

This is a steamy hot story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is lazing hot. This is a well written and vry entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Sexy, Romantic Valentines short with an HEA. Matchmaking with a D/s theme. Tillie has been a good girl her whole life. Raised by strict parents & an older brother's watchful eye. She's getting ready to graduate college and wants to begin living her life her way so she signs up for Grace Graham's matchmaking service. Cole is handsome & wealthy. He's tired of women with dollar signs in their eyes so at the nudging of his best friend he signs up for Grace's service. They are matched up immediately and then their really journey begins. Great Valentines read.

This was a quick, sweet read. I love a story that works out to a HEA but that also sticks to a girl's values. No sex until the wedding night, how old fashionably cute! This was a great story about a well known wealthy man wanting to look for love but only feels wanted for his money. Meet Cole Black, he sees his business partner and best friend find love and he wonders about it himself. But all he attracts are women who are after his money. He wants to meet someone who has no idea who he is and loves him for him. He decides to give What the Heart Wants a try, can't be too bad as it starts off with handwritten letters and pen names. Meet Tillie who is a sheltered college student, just getting ready to graduate and not wanting to take the risk of setting setup with her future husband by her parents. This is an older man, younger woman story that is an entertaining, quick read.

Our hero is looking for more than a one night stand, our heroine is looking to break out of her sheltered life. Another job for the Match Maker.

This is part of the loosely connected Match Maker series of stories. Each story is by a different author with a different couple and situation, but they all are linked through the Match Maker.

Part of what I like about this series of books is that they are all short stories by good solid authors. This one is no exception. The story is very well written with an easy to follow plot and delightful characters. I really enjoyed the way they interacted and the real chemistry between them. They have a few hurdles to overcome, but they navigate them together on their way to a nice HEA.

Highly recommended.

Hungry and Just Don’t Care...
Dear Hungry Wolf - The Matchmaker Series, by author Vivian Ward was unique in that it featured DDLG-lite genre in this novella. Our protagonists, Cole and Tillie, were cute as they found each other quickly, made in part, by messaging each other instead of the long drawn out letter writing required in the other novellas in the series. This certainly helped speed up their courting although, Cole, showing an arrogant side, did the most awful thing to his business partner/best friend on Valentine’s Day. Why would the author do that? Hmmm. That is the only major faux pas in this storyline but I took away a star.
I am leaving this review for your consideration.

Cole is a co-owner of a huge company, he dates woman like he handles his car, for a short time alone.
Now his partner advises him to join the matchmaking service and Cole gives it a try.

It pairs him up with Tillie, an innocent 15 year younger woman.
Tillie has lived a sheltered live with her parents not allowing her to date and now she has to live with her older brother who looks after her.
But she wants more and that is why she joins the matching service, which pairs her up with Cole.

She doesn’t know him.
She wants to be dominated by a man and they even play DDLG together.

Great story, nice built up, the only thing I did miss where the hot moments in the bedroom, they were suggested but not written down.

What happens when an older drop dead gorgeous billionaire goes on a dating website to find a soulmate who wants him for him and not for what he has? What he finds is an adorable young virgin who has been protected her whole life and is ready to spread her wings.

Cole, 15 years older at 37 to Tillie's 22 years, is exactly what each other wants. She wants someone experienced and knowledgeable to introduce her to sexual experiences and Cole is thrilled to be her teacher. This story is both sweet and sensual.

If you want a sweet novella with no angst and a HEA this book is for you. You can read it in an hour or two and have pleasantly spent your time. I recommend this book.

Fun fast storyline
Vivian Ward’s novella is a fun fast storyline. I love the characters and their dynamics. The story is quick paced. There’s a bit of sexual tension between the lead characters. Theirs is a DD/lg romance. This is a story about a young woman who has been sheltered all her life. Tillie wants to experience life for a change so she signs up for a matchmaking service. Cole has been a player but realizes he wants more than just a revolving door of women. He wants a woman who will love him for who he is not the amount of money that his has so he signs up for the same matchmaking service. He is matched with Tillie who is exactly the type of woman he wants. I liked this story.

Quick, insta-love romance with an older man and a younger woman who take a chance on using a matchmaker site to find their true loves.

There was quite a bit of steam in their early communications and Cole sure had a knack for dirty talk, but the heat between Cole and Tillie never seemed to rise above a simmer. She was inexperienced and sheltered and the rapid progression of their relationship was somewhat unbelieveable, but if you're looking for a short and sweet read with a bit of the DD/lg kink, it might be right what you're looking for.

This is a part of The Matchmaker Series, but I believe each book is a standalone.

Another great book in the matchmaker series a multi author series where the members of a matchmaking service are encouraged to write to one another and get to know one another before they physically meet

This is the story of Cole a 37 year old playboy who finally wants to settle down but he wants a woman who wants him for himself not for his wealth and status He is introduced to Tillie a 22 year old virgin who has been protected to the point of suffocation by her family. Yes they may have a lot in common but how will she handle some of the things that he has planned for her. Another super fast fun read in this wonderful series

With a name like Hungry Wolf you know he's on the prowl

And he's just found his prey and falls for her instantly.
This is a short story that is more about how they meet than what happens in the bedroom.
This isn't a hot and heavy age play story. I would say it was more an age play romance that skims the topic of DDLG and settles more into allowing your imagination to go crazy than giving any specifics.
This wasn't as hot as I was expecting and it was as deep character wise as I was expecting.
It's a nice way to dip your toe into the lifestyle to see if you wanted to take the plunge. But you'd only be dipping your toe as it was a pretty shallow pool.

Tillie is a 22 year old innocent woman who has been sheltered by her strict parents and she wants to live her life let her hair down and be wild for once in her life so she joins a dating site and she is matched up with a Hungry Wolf. Cole has been a bit of a playboy but when he meets Tillie he gives it all up for her. This is an older man younger woman insta love story and I enjoyed every page of it, this is a fantastic story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Dear hungry wolf is a short story that is a part of the matchmaker series. This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied in one sitting. The writing style is easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable.
The chemistry between Cole and Tillie is clear to see and I liked them together. I liked that Cole had Tillie breaking the rules. I liked that Tillie didn’t care about Cole being rich.
I have to admit, I was a little annoyed that Cole stole his best friends moment. That being said, I liked that Cole and Tillie got their happily ever after.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and a nice read.

This was a fast paced super smexy loving romance I loved Cole and how he went for love even if it was in an unconventional way through a matchmaker. Tillie shes young inexperienced and sheltered but she steps out of her box through the matchmaker and she is matched with her ultimate fantasy.

I enjoyed this book but wish it didn't end so quickly and the epilogue was a nice bonus.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book through BookSprout. I enjoy this read, it's sweet, innocent and a DD/LG story. Cole, who is 37 is looking for "the one". Someone who wants him for him and not his money, and he hasn't seemed to find the right one yet. Tillie, is 22 and still a virgin, looking to break away from her sheltered life joins a matchmaking site and gets matched to Cole. Once these two begin chatting things start to heat up and all the fun begins. This is a quick read and just in time for Valentine's Day.

This was a fast pace and super instalove book little steam.. with hardly any chara development.. you have Cole who takes his friends advice and tries the matchmaker and is matched with Tillie who is a good girl and was sheltered all her life.. they bond and share some dirty fantasies and one is daddy kink.. i honestly thought this would be DD/LG but it really wasn't.. just few daddy and him taking care of her and a quick dress up.. but nothing extreme..

A 37 playboy and a 22 year old virgin who would put these two together well it's none other than Grace from What the Heart wants dating agency , a short Valentine sexy read , he joins the agency to find someone who wants him for him and not what he has , but what will he say when he's matched with the 22 virgin , a well written read with a good storyline and great characters and a HEA , a great addition to this collection of short reads , a must read

This was such a sweet book. We have Cole who is one half of Black and Cullison Petrolium Company. Who wants a woman to see him for him and not how much his wallet is worth. So he does what his friend suggests and registers for “what the heart wants”. He find his Tillie who is a shy, lovely girl who was sheltered by her parents and has to live with her brother during college. Cole and Tillie were so suited for each other especially as Tillie had no clue who Cole was. A very sweet insta love story. It was also great that the leading man waited to take his girl.

This read was enjoyable, but not the usual brilliance of Vivian Ward.

The story started out really well, with the instant chemistry between Cole & Tillie heating up nicely. By chapter 9, it started speeding up & skipped loads of incidentals, like how her parents & brother would kill her for dating an older guy, but nothing else was explained. And for lords sake, what the hell is DDLG all about? No explanation was offered & I had to Google it to find out!

This read overall was really enjoyable, but felt extremely rushed by the end.

They are matched on a dating site. Innocent virgin wants to break free from her over protective family & get some experience. He's a much older successful businessman, tired of women wanting him only for his money. This innocent is turned on by him being a bit of a dom but whilst he pleasures her in every sense of the word he will not take her virginity until she is his & only his. A charming quick read with lots of steam & hea.
