Book 1 was free on Apple Books. It’s about a girl who has grown up in the care system who moves to LA for a better life. She’s a barista at a coffee shop and loves in the same building. She meets a guy who has moved to be with his girlfriend in a last ditch attempt to fix their relationship. When it doesn’t work he and the barista act on their attraction. There’s not a whole lot that happens otherwise - can’t see myself reading books 2 and 3.

This book is about a guy who moved to a city and works at one of the car dealerships and is higher up in the company. A girl across the hall from his apartment lives there and he develops feelings for her.

I rated it 3 stars because this story does not in any way read as an Erotic Romance. There is so much focus on how the guy feels and his girlfriend who is vegan. It draws away from that romance which doesn’t happen till 3 chapters towards the end. The cover gave a promising match with the back summary of the book.

No erotic stuff happens and the book kept dragging on and on. I was disappointed and hope that the next in the series isn’t the same.

Finished this book in a day and was absolutely sucked in by it. One of my favorite reads so far and I already bought books 2 and 3. I could see the chemistry between Jean and Dane from the beginning and loved every second of it. The smut in it too-

It was a fun read but just like every other book these days, it’s a series. There’s book 2 and 3 and I’m not quite sure if I’m gonna read the rest.

A good start to a fun series, sad I'll probably never read the rest. A bit saddened one couple didn't get their HEA, and the next book would move onto the next but it is what it is. I like how klutzy the MC, she makes me feel better about myself.
