As with most of Bobby's series, I find the final book bittersweet! What will become of our country, torn apart by dichotomous factions seeking to bring us back to their ideal America ? A ripped from the headlines view of the lack of middle ground and extremist views. Who comes out on top? The Trowbridge family ? Hard to really accurately describe the amount of research and detail that Bobby loads into this series and how easy it seems to be for one side to spark a civil war !

The Haven, a place that was meant to be a safe place for those who chose or were chosen to live there, has turned into a bloody battlefield. Many lost their lives trying to protect those they loved and those that survived must now plan a rescue of one of their own.
In this gripping ending of the series, Bobby Akart shows us that no matter how careful the planning, the setting up of security, all of the prepping, it may just not be enough to be safe. Somewhere there is always someone who has a reason to attack… be it selfishness, revenge or exerting their power to take what they feel is theirs. No one is safe when lawlessness takes over a country and in the Doomsday series, that is exactly what happens. Neighbor against neighbor, friend against friend. Behind the scenes manipulators causing chaos in the streets so that their agenda comes out on top. As I read the headlines, I see so much of what is happening today, what this author wrote to open our eyes and help us see what is happening. Will there be a second civil war in our country? There will be if things don’t start to change…and soon. When a government turns on their own and has their own agenda and the fighting begins amongst themselves, the fighting turns to the streets and chaos will reign. This series has taught me to look for the signs and yes, I am seeing them. I am deeply saddened that this incredibly realistic series has come to an end…which is how I feel about all of this author’s stories. There is always a lesson to be learned in them and this one was no exception. Thank you, Bobby Akart, for the hours of entertainment and eye-opening scenarios that you write about. The countless hours of research you put into each and every one of your stories is well appreciated. Godspeed Patriot!

The Antifas have committed a terrible act that will lead to death for many but will it be the hero’s of Haven or the Antifas who win the day. The action starts full bore and never stops.
Charlotte North Carolina becomes the epicenter for the search for Hannah Cortland, who was taken from Haven by the Antifas . While back at Haven secrets start to come out about George Trowbridge and his son-in-law Cort, as well as other members of Haven. Delta also has his hands full at Haven trying to get to Frankie, his ex partner and now a turn coat who killed his son. This is just the first four chapters, things go full auto soon after. Many questions are answered and the battle for America begins in earnest.
As one battle rages in Charlotte another battle for life ends at Pine Orchard Connecticut. With his family around him George Trowbridge will pass the baton to his son-in-law Cort and finally make peace with his daughter.
As one man prepares to meet his maker his arch enemies son Jonathan and the traitor Briscoe will face their own fate at the hands of the Haven heroes. Without giving any more away let me say the action is nonstop and will keep you up all night to find out who will live and who will die and what the fate of our American way of life will be like in the future.

Sounds similar to current events
I'm retired.. I read a lot these days, averaging 8-10 books per week. I have read most of Akart's books now and as usual, I'm commenting on the entire series rather than each book individually. I'm a very critical reviewer, very rarely giving 5 stars but this series came close. I am a Christian conservative. Many of Akart's books tend to the conservative viewpoint which is based on the principles our Founding Fathers used to establish what has been the greatest nation on earth, but as some of his booms show, we are dangerously moving away from those principles and beliefs that made this nation great. Unless we change course and do so quickly we are destined to become the next great nation to collapse. We are following closely in the footsteps of the Roman Empire from centuries ago as well as the more recent failure and fall of Venezuela. WAKE UP AMERICA !!!!

Disappointed
This is not a post apocalyptic series about ordinary people thrown into chaos and banding together for survival. This is about two scumbags who ultra rich and powerful who decide to play god a set about events that purge the nation by killing millions. They can do this because corrupt bureaucrats and law enforcement care more about keeping their jobs than serving the citizens of the nation. Will these lowlifes ever pay for their traitorous acts? Dream on sucker. Only ordinary people have to pay for their crimes.
I cannot say this was an entertaining series, it was time consuming I wish I could get back that time. After reading this series I will be on valium a few days.

The Haven has been attacked because of the hatred three powerful men have for each other,where the body count and collateral damage is of no consequence. That was a huge error on the part of two of the three men and the target is now on them. I loved the twist at the end that was totally unexpected on my part. I highly recommend this series and any other series by Akart as he certainly has a way with words, writes compelling characters and makes you think what if and could this really happen.

Too Close For Comfort
Mr Akart has done it again. Another series off of the presses. One that entertains but makes that little nagging voice in your brain erupt . Thoughts of too much like “now”. This book could be the blueprint for today and the near future. I hope not but I fear that unless the citizens of our great country stop, look, and listen to current events we may be doomed to follow a blueprint that none of us wants for our country.

Another great series
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed reading Akart’s apocalyptic series of books. From Doomsday, the Asteroid, Yellowstone, pandemic and now this series I’ve enjoyed relatable characters, interesting storyline and one heck of a ride. His books give an in-depth look at all those different scenarios and have provided me with weeks of some of the best reading I’ve experienced in years.

Thrilling!
I managed to read this entire series in just under 7 days! The plot had plenty of twists to keep you guessing, together with characters that came to life on the page. I honestly loved this series right to Cort’s speech at the end, where of course I ended up in tears.....again. Thanks for another incredible series. I have now read everything you have written and await the next book with baited breath.

Today's news falls right in line with events in the Doomsday series. Haven't we learned yet? There are those with power and the mindset tho make Doomday real. If you think it's Democrats vs Republicans it's not. It's the Rule of Law vs Anarchy. The Constitution vs Dictatorship.

Great Series
I really enjoyed reading this series of books. I've have daydream about the basic idea of Haven in the past and reading this series really brought it home to me. I don't know if I'll still be here when it happens but I do believe it will happen. It's just not knowing when.

This is the final sequel of this Doomsday Civil War drama as only Bobby Akart can devise. It has an unexpected ending. His stories are always in line with events of our modern problems in today's world, especially here in the USA with our torn government. Read all his stories to help you recognize where our problems can lead us. Highly recommend all his stories.

An Enjoyable Series
Take it as a fictional reside. It’s a cracking tale, well written with characters you can follow. I had to put aside the lionising over Trump and enjoy it as fiction. It certainly won’t drive me to get a MAGA hat but with a pinch of make believe it was a good tale.

Outstanding
The Doomsday Series is an excellent example of Mr Akart's ability to take current events and weave a fictional tale that hits home. His espousal of the elements that made this country great are integral to the series, but also to our society. You will be enthralled by this series.
All of his works are entertaining and enlightening.

Doomsday
I would have given this series a 5 except for 2 reasons. 1. I did not like wasting my valuable reading time going over every previous book before the story got going. I have a pretty good memory and just don't need the review. 2. I am a Democrat and just could not handle the Trump love, because we know that's not how it would go.

His best series yet!
With such realistic storylines it's difficult to finish these books. This series shows such maturity in Bobby Akart's writing. His characters are well developed, the story is so believable it seemed almost real when I woke up after a late night reading. I have to say, I definitely recommend this book

Nail biting series. Just like the Yellowstone you can’t put the book down.
This series dealt with insurrection within in the USA. It was very realistic is it presentation of fictional events that could happen. Based on factual events going in now, Bobby shaped them into an intriguing story of what might happen. Read it, you won’t be disappointed.

Godspeed, Patriots!
Another Bullseye, Doomsday, book 5, was full of surprises. It was fast-paced and informative, upping the ante for the Haven residents, and especially for Cort and his family. Dangerously,thus book, and indeed, this series, made me applaud actions I might normally abhor...

Fantastic. Scary. Real scary. More importantly this book is more real than you would like it to be! Especially with the political environment in our world as it is happening now. AND with the political players who are in place currently. Bobby is a wonderful writer, he does his research well, never letting his readers down. His books never let his readers down.

A memorable series!
I enjoyed this series immensely! A stay up all night and read kinda series! Those don't come along too often. Loved the character development and thought that went into the families involved... their stories, heartaches and triumphs. Lots of adventure, excitement!

An amazing end to an incredible series. Once you start, you can’t stop till the last page. Bobby Akart has a way with words that draws you in & holds you captive. Hopefully we will get to see more of Prowler 😼.

Over too soon
I loved the series, but it was over too soon, and the wrap up seemed too easy to me. I loved the characters, and the storyline. I’d really like to see longer books though.

Good read
I enjoyed this latest series from Mr Akart. However, the finale seemed a little rushed to ensure that everything was wrapped up. I'm hoping Mr Akart's next series is a little more out of the box (Yellowstone) and less reminiscent of Boston Brahmin.

This book was my favorite of the 5 book series . Bobby Akart is among author's that I follow and I know will give me an interesting well thought out book with interesting characters.
