(Tamil: எஸ்.ராமகிருஷ்ணன்; born 1966)

is a noted Tamil author and Tamil film dialogue writer. He was born in Mallankinaru, Virudhunagar district, Tamil Nadu.

Ramakrishnan is noted for his column Thunai Ezhuthu in the magazine Ananda Vikatan. His short stories have been translated in German, French, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam.

His other works include Kadhaa Vilaasam, Desaandri, and Alainthen Tirindhen.

எஸ் ராமகிருஷ்ணன் அவர்கள் எழுதிய தனிமையின் வீட்டிற்கு நூறு ஜன்னல்கள் இந்த சிறுகதையின் தொகுப்பில் உள்ள 16 கதைகளும் மனதினை ஏதோ ஒரு கேள்வி கேட்கத் தான் செய்கின்றது. வாழ்வின் நெருக்கடி மனிதர்களை நிலைகொள்ள முடியாமல் தவிக்க வைக்கிறது.இக்கதைகளில் வரும் மனிதர்கள் பிரச்சனைகளால் துரத்தப்படுகிறார்கள்.உலகம் அவர்கள் மீது கருணை கொள்ளவில்லை. வாழ்வோடு சமர் செய்யும் இந்த எளிய மனிதர்களின் கதைகளே இத்தொகுப்பின் மையம்.வாசிக்க வேண்டிய புத்தகம்.

Beautiful, bizarrely imagined, abstractly realist stories that explore deeper themes of humanity and social dilemmas. With the first story, I thought I wasn't gonna like this book. I don't know why would they place it as the first story, let alone placing it at all. But the latter stories proved me wrong. Absolutely Beautiful. Strictly recommended.

Its a story collection of 16 shorties. I would say none of the stories had an ending and its also did not give the readers satisfaction. Overall a passable book.
