Wow this is a long book. But i expect it just like miss Snow other books. In this series, miss Snow build a protector alpha males. I have to say James takes hold of my heart with his mysterious aura and brooding.
Miss Snow twisting a suspense into her romance. Please be patient with the long story. It is worth it though. The chemistry between James and Faye is slow and yet its sizzling hot. I especially love how James finally undone. I always have soft spot for such vulnerable hero.
I love to read more of this series.

Oh MY GOODNESS!!! This last book of the Enguard Protection series is an on the edge of your seat thrill ride the whole book. It's so bittersweet that this is the last one. But man did Nicole let this one go out with a bang.
James is -"Graceful, lethal, perfect."
Faye is a fiery redhead that you really don't want to mess with.
I highly recommend this book. Even though this is a standalone I would recommend reading the whole series just to get the full reading pleasure.

I had said the last book from Nicole was my favorite but boy was I wrong. This book is AMAZING! I absolutely love this book. I couldn't get enough, like I hid in the bathroom so I could finish the last part because I was dying to know how it ended.
We finally get to read James! Stoic, slick, put together James, I really don't want to give much away but wow there was a lot hiding under his cool exterior. It was like pulling back a layer to see this amazing man that we've only gotten glimpses of before.
Then you meet and Faye, she is a BADASS. I was instantly smitten with her. She is a librarian which, I am loving all the recent heroines being book lovers in some way. Totally makes me jazzed. She is a force but has to be the good little girl out of sense of duty.
This one had great pollical suspense added in. Nicole, you could totally write a pollical thriller romance ;) You ROCK!

Holy Hell! Nicole Snow knows how to end a series with a bang! We all have been waiting for the brooding James and boy, did she deliver.
If you like your reads fast paced, suspenseful and balls to the walls hot, well, meet James Nobel and Faye Harris.
James and Faye met at Quantico during FBI training. Then, they were thrust together as agents and lovers until a plane crash altered everything. Faye, being the Senator's daughter, had her life dictated to her by her father, was forced to quit the FBI, but not before she finds out that James resigned not long before her. Now were five years later and James works for Landon and Enguard is hired to tag team with another security company to guard Senator Harris and his daughter, Faye, as the Senator has had death threats along with his daughter.
This book is everything. I love a book that not only has a strong Hero, but, also a strong Heroine. I thought I loved Ryker, but James, holy mother of god, he is my favorite of the whole series. Each book was better than the last and now we are at the end and the series is complete and I have a book hangover.
You can say that this book is a standalone but you would be sorely missing out if you didn't read the whole series. Plus, you have the characters from the other books in this one and you wouldn't know who they were unless you read the other books.

This is a fast paced book that’s grips you from start to finish. Lovers to enemies to lovers with a whole lot of drama mixed in.
Faye’s life changed totally five years ago, the man she loved cut her from his life and shut her out, her father forced her to give up her career so she’s been working in a library just existing until her father storms into her life and turns her world upside down. As a powerful senator he’s and his daughter have been targeted and both their lives are in danger. Scurried away to a ski resort she finds the last man on earth she would want as her protector! The one who broke her heart five years ago James Nobel, how is she going to survive being this close to the only man she will ever love and try to pretend she’s fine and what secrets is her father keeping?!?
Five years ago James Nobel walked away from his career with the FBI and the woman he loved. After discovering the dark secrets her father was involved in. He thought he was protecting them both but now she’s back in his life and the reasons he thought were so solid and true are crumbling. Could he have got this so wrong and now they are all in danger but James knows one thing there is nothing he won’t do to keep Faye safe. I really hate the ‘I left you and froze you out for years because I was protecting you’ trope. It just robs the other character - almost always the heroine - of her agency. And the hero in this one kept up that cold asshole ‘protection’ for far too long (well over half the book). But once they got past that it was a decent enough story, even if the heroine is way more forgiving than I’d ever be.

Nicole Snow has a great ability to ramp up the sexual tension, dive into each character’s true heart and spill it out on the page for us. I was intrigued by James in the previous book in this series. He seemed part spook, part ghost and part vampire. He also didn’t seem to sleep. He had Spock-like emotions and was invisible when he wanted to be. I was intrigued.
The emotions were complex here. It spanned a lot of years. James hadn’t told his Enguard employers about his previous stint in the FBI or the fact that he believed Senator Harris had not only sabotaged his plane five years earlier but was responsible for his own wife’s death. James had kept his suspicions from Faye, his girlfriend and Senator Harris’s daughter. He had no proof. So he left and never returned. Glutton for punishment much?
The book starts out with Senator Harris whisking his daughter away from her job as a librarian in order to supposedly protect her. Her father had forced her to resign from the FBI where she had been an explosives expert. She not only had lost the man she loved five years earlier but also lost the job she loved. Life sucks sometimes.
Now James is put in place to protect Faye. Enguard Security has been enlisted to pair with another security agency to keep a certain fundraiser in the mountains safe. Enguard doesn’t know about his past with the senator and his daughter. He tries to have his protection detail changed but it is set in stone kind of like James’s icy demeanor. Question is: will James finally crack the ice of his heart?
I thought this book was excellent. Right in my sweet spot. A grand protector, a gal who can hold her own against the bad guys and a love that is worth fighting for. I was hooked from the first page. Nicole Snow knows her stuff when it comes to romantic suspense. This book had a fun Peter Pan theme going. He called Faye Tink and the bad guy was Hook. I had a waffling idea of what I thought James looked like. It went between Daniel Craig and the well dressed guy from Lucifer. I am not sure why I couldn’t see James as a blonde. I think my mind was set on tall, dark and handsome.
The mystery was pretty convoluted and why wouldn’t it be. Anything with a hint of government oversight is just a mess of red tape most of the time. I thought the mystery was compelling and the tension between James and Faye was just the right mix of torture and angst. If they got together immediately, where would the fun in that be?
I think what sets this apart from many ebook romances is that it is a normal novel length book. The author has the ability to really give you a LOT of details about everyone and ramp up that tension and suspense naturally. Just an excellent offering of all the things that make a romance great.

Still Not Love left me completely wrecked and delightfully blissed out. Your emotions will take a beating and get a full workout within these pages. Just when you think there couldn’t possibly be another wicked twist, the next one steals around the corner and flips everything upside down. You won’t know which way is up, and you honestly won’t care as the incredible characters you meet will capture your heart and enthrall your senses. They will keep you so busy guessing what is coming next that you won’t care that the world is crashing around your ears. Instead, you will be too busy cheering and hurting along with them to notice anything else. They will tie you into their world and flood your senses so thoroughly until you will not know anything else. This is the epitome of pure ecstasy and complete happiness.
Faye’s world ended five long years ago. Her heart was irreparable shattered by events that made no sense to her. They still don’t make any sense as she looks back and tries for the millionth time to see what she may have missed. Now her world is being shattered once again. No matter how hard she fights, she can’t step out the path of this latest whirlwind that threatens to devour her whole and leave nothing left in its wake. James has come to despise what his life has become. Nothing about it brings him any comfort or peace. Instead, it leaves him a hallow shell of the man he was once upon a time. He can’t change the past, and yet he can’t move forward. He’s stuck in the mire that he has created by his painful choices and the dark events of five years ago. Can Faye release James from his self-imposed prison to help him see that life can be more than he has dared to allow himself to admit, or will he find himself forever locked inside a prison of his mind and heart lost for all time to despair, hate, and pain?

I will forever be a huge fan of Nicole Snow! She has proven time and time again that her creativity is sharp enough to destroy, sensitive enough to spill tears, and blessed enough to transform my heart every time I savor one of incredible stories. I have lost my heart to each member of the Enguard series, but James made me feel deeper, appreciate harder, and love with more abandon then I thought possible. This couple is the epitome of the series, and it couldn’t have ended in a better way, with a huge bang!

This is quite the action-packed romantic suspense. I liked how James and Faye's back story was woven in as flashbacks. I loved how they work together as an effective team without having to think about it. I just loved this book!

This is the book… this book is the one that makes you fall in love with reading again. The story flows is such a beautiful way that I could not help but turn the pages and fall in love.
You ever get in a book rut and get frustrated that nothing is satisfying you? This is the book that will set you right again.
From the first word the characters popped off the page, became whole and real and called to me like a siren. James is a broken man who is dealing with layers of hurt but still has a beautiful heart. He is strong and determined, yet vulnerable. I loved this personality, and again his heart. Faye is a feisty strong women who bends for her father, yet has the strength she needs to be herself. I loved these two together, they were pure magic. The balance of sweet, hot and action makes this a must read.
This author is a favorite of mine, that is no secret, but this book… it just recharged me, woke up my love of reading again and made me remember why I love real characters. Pure perfection.

There are other books. Pace was slow, too many words at times, I had no empathy for the characters; the plot had so much potential but 4 times I picked this up to read and every time I did, I was bored. Don't bother.

One minute, Faye is going about her day as usual, the next, she's being whisked away by armed guards. And she was just getting used to boring. Faye has lost so much. An awesome dream job she loved. A man. THE MAN...THE ONE, all because she needed to be safe.
Faye is a trained explosive expert with the FBI-was a trained explosive expert. That was until she needed protection because her father, Senator Harris, was being targeted by an assassin and now she's in danger.
Riker Woods, from Enguard Security, served with Senator Harris in the Gulf War. Enguard, according to the Senator, is the only company he trusts to protect his daughter. Faye does not agree with his assessment.

This book is the love story between James Noble, a former Army soldier turned FBI agent and Faye Harris who he met while she was also becoming an FBI bombs expert. Faye is the daughter of a current US Senator. The story does goes back and forth some so you can see the development of the relationship from the beginning before some secrets and betrayal and ultimately lead to a five year time period of no contact between them. The present day parts of the story are so edge of your seat, it’s great! The chemistry and tension between Faye “Tink” and James is so flipping hot, hot, hot 🔥🥵!! She is like this little fire ball of dynamite 🧨
It’s awesome! I hadn’t read some of the other books in the series , but I didn’t feel lost. It gave just enough info that I knew who they were. I still think I will go back and read them. I so wanted to read James’ story, he was the most intriguing of the Enguard men, so silent and brooding. I was not disappointed, this book was so engaging, it felt like I was watching a very good hollywood spy movie rather then reading a book. It was awesome how Faye, our heroine was also kickass in a very unassuming way.
It’s action packed, full of betrayals, proven loyalties, and most importantly, second chances. The last few chapters will grab your heart. Once James is brought to the light by Faye, he shows this other deeply romantic and beautiful side. It not only helps him fufill his mothers dream by finishing her book which only needed its ending, he made it a best seller, and thus the beauty of its message will affect all those around him.
If you enjoy Romantic Suspense I highly recommend this book and the whole series.

Wow, Nicole ended this series with a bang and a hott, I mean hottie James. So James had met his love interest Faye, years ago in Quantico both of them were training as FBI agents. Then we have a life altering situation where they both end up leaving the FBI, now years later do to some threats and Faye and her father contacting Enguard for protections whom does she end up reuniting with, yup James..I wont tell you the rest but my friends grab a copy and Enjoy!

I was given an advanced readers copy of this book and have decided to leave a voluntary honest review. I so like James even though he is brooding and ahole I can't get enough of him. He's got blonde hair and blue eyes. Ex military what is not to like. However he is not perfect just like we Arnt we all make mistakes and his cost him a lot. But good things happen to good people. Faye I wish stood up for herself more, I know she had her moments, but she is just as hard headed as James.

Sweet and Formidable
Yes as I have titled this, this man is sweet but for his team he is secretive because he wants to protect someone he loves. He doesn't know he does but he doesn't know that he can trust his friends either. But he can. He can be formidable and a little ruthless. But, so can she. Remember NOT to put baby in a corner. The bad guy is like a devil. The ending is more than your prepared for. So sweet too.

I absolutely love every Enguard story and character. Once you start reading you won’t want too stop. James and Faye’s story was sweet, frustrating and of course sexy. A second chance romance that will have you loving their story from the start. Another great read that everyone must read.

This was a good ending to this set of books. In this we have James and Faye. They have a past together and now that he has to protect her it will be difficult. Of course after spending all this time together they rekindle their feelings. One other thing I loved about this was that in the end of the book we got to see all the past couples. It was nice to see how things were going for them.

This was my favorite of all of the Enguard books. What an awesome ending to a fantastic series. James is surprisingly multi-faceted and lovable. I also loved that this heroine was more bad ass than some of the others.
