People come to the United States of America believing that their hard work will soon pay off. And that, they will have a whole new life. Is there any truth to this statement, or, have they deceived themselves? This book helps to answer this question. It is a quest for sure, yet it deals with the whole life.
Many come from different countries risking their lives for opportunities; however, the moment they arrive, they are greeted with challenges they are unaware of. They experience language and cultural barriers, and difficulty speaking and learning English. As a consequence, it causes stress on relationships, family, work, social (teenagers and adolescents), and all related issues.
Based on my research, people come to the United States of America without knowing what they are going to go through once they get into the country. They think their struggles and battles will be over as soon as they arrive in the “land of the free and the brave”. What they don’t know is that they are going to face big challenges and problems caused by unpreparedness—an eye-opening experience for many who have gone through it. To some it becomes a culture shock, leading to unwise decisions.
Susan Sanchez believes to be the person to write this story because of what she stands for--that there is hope beyond living faithfully. Blessed with 5 grown children, Susan lived the life of faith the hard way and passed on to her children, the wisdom God empowers her in writing. She is also blessed as a teacher and most of all, a servant of God.
My two young adults joined me here in the US seven years after I arrived here. They thought they were coming to America, the beautiful land of opportunity, and that all their problems would be solved. However, a year after they came, they saw the reality of life here in the U.S.—way far different from where they came from. It may be different from what I experienced as a mother, but the basics and the foundation have something to do with spirituality, for in it, comes the unforeseen test that needs the greatest preparation in life. Her difficult experience as she transitioned from adolescence to adulthood reminded her of what God has done in her life as she wrote this topic, through God’s help and guidance.
Her two biggest reasons for writing this book 1. To help teens and young adolescents transition and adapt to this country, and to help prepare their minds for the challenges they will be facing in this life. 2. For those who have a calling, an inner transition into a spiritual life of faith in God, regardless of age, sex and race. In life, there’s always a problem and challenges to be met, mostly are caused by a spiritual blindness and unpreparedness in life. The solution, however, is within one’s reach that brings them into the Light.
You know how technology dominates the economy and industry by creating mechanical muscles and minds that are capable of making decisions and build better technology to replace human jobs with software bots... There is an urgent call for life preparation and transformation.
After reading this book, you will be able to be connected to the source of power that gives you clear thinking and judgment in dealing with problems, issues and even the many distractions in life. It will help you overcome them and move on to a higher level of spiritual maturity.
Most of all, Create & Live is an all-time preparation and transformation that helps young minds think independently through the Holy Spirit, the voice of truth within them. It allows them to become happy, healthy and have an abundant life. The result is that they can help save lives. Help transform one mind, one soul at a time.
Finally, having invested in your mind and heart in meaningful ways, you will be blessed with all the benefits you can have-- things that really matter in life. “Glorify God and worship Him through a healthy body, balanced mind and soul,” the goal of this book.
