27 books127 followersWelcome to my author page. My pen name is Rowan Thalia. I published my first novel on February 14, 2019.
I discovered very early on that I loved writing. Poetry was my first love and form of expression. I’ve written poems since I was sixteen and have quite the collection by now! Some of them you can find in my two poetry anthologies.
I’ve always been an avid reader and writer of short stories. My favorite author of all time is Anne Rice. In fact my pen name stems from one of her characters, Rowan, from The Witching Hour.
It wasn’t until 2017 that I decided to push through and write a full-length novel. I started Binding Rayne (which went through several title changes at first) but struggled with the direction. In the middle of the first draft, I happened upon the reverse-harem book community on facebook. The complicated romances rooted in my author heart and before long my book took on a new direction. The Keepers of the Talisman trilogy was born!
Since then, I have written and published many more reverse-harem romance novels, most of them paranormal in genre. Never to be one to sit idle, I’ve recently opened a second pen name - R. Thalia . With this name, I began the journey of writing my first (non-romance) paranormal thriller. I can’t wait to break out and show the book world my full range of capabilities.

Omg this is almost better than the first book, binding rayne. I cannot wait to read saving rayne. I highly recommend everyone read this series! It has everything sex, steamy points, fighting, mad me cry and laugh. Sent shivers down my spine. Definitely a ten but all I could give was 5 :( Rowan is absolutely amazing!

Keeping Rayne is the steamy and heartbreaking second book in Rowan Thalia’s Keeper of the Talisman series. In this book, we are reunited with Rayne and her men at a crucial moment. They have found Maya’s second keeper who turned after her death. Rayne must compel him to her and bind him in order to help him and ease Maya’s pain. But something isn’t right. Rayne can’t reach Maya like before. It doesn’t take long for something to go terribly wrong for the group and the truth to surface as to what has happened and what is going on. They are still being hunted, their powers are not where they need to be, and now they must return to the lions’ den in order to find those who can help them get stronger so that they can survive the battle that is to come. Things are about to kick into high gear…can Rayne and her men survive this?
Keeping Rayne is just as steamy as book one if not more so and I loved every moment of it. The author really lays it all out there for the reader in this book and I ate it up. We get tension, drama, fear, loss, and heartbreak. We also get some sweet revelations and romance. I’m not usually one for a “measuring” contest between men, but I do like that there is a touch of competitiveness between Rogue and Toussaint. I’m surprised by the revelations that the author gives us concerning Rogue. They are things that I never would have thought concerning when he was bound to Maya. In this book, Rayne is really put through the wringer. It kept me on the edge of my seat eager to learn what was going to happen next.
There isn’t much that I don’t like about this book. The author does a fantastic job building the suspense with this book. There are more than a couple of situations where I honestly feared for the group. I will admit that there were a couple of moments of where I felt the sexual tension was out of place concerning the situation they found themselves in, but in one situation the tension dissipated. Now! For those who do NOT like cliffhangers…this book has one. I almost howled when the story ends the way that it does, but it just makes me eager for the next book, and we don’t have long to wait either.
All in all, I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. It’s a fantastic story and is gripping from beginning to end. The characters are engaging, the danger is real for them, and I love how they continue to grow closer together as individuals and as a group. If you read the first book and enjoyed it then I highly recommend that you pick this book up. This book does have a huge cliffhanger, but the story is still totally worth reading and enjoying. Steamy, dark, fast-paced, and heartbreaking…this story has it all.

The story continues to grow
Keeping Rayne picks up trying to save my has second keeper. Then we find out Maya is in trouble as they find a way to save her and improve their powers other drama happens to them. Can they survive with being thrown at them or will they fail? I love how Maya and her men continue to grow the sexy time is amazing and the book leaves you wanting more. I will forewarn you that there is a cliffhanger on the end that makes you want book 3 immediately.

Keeping Rayne picks up where the first book left off. In this book we learn more about Rayne's powers and how she came into possession of the talisman to begin with. Bonds are tested and there is a big threat breathing down Rayne and her keepers necks. I enjoyed this book! It is a very steamy read! As with the last book, sex fuels Rayne's magic and she does not miss an opportunity to fuel up! There are some emotional moments, some funny moments and sweet moments. I'm interested to see how things wrap up in the next book after that ending. I was given an ARC of this book for an honest review.

The second story in The Keepers of the Talisman series, is an epic read. Rayne is growing in power and learning how to use and release it and her harem (or keepers) are also becoming stronger. Some questions are answered and some are raised, there's action, adventure and of course delicious smut. I love this world and I love Rayne and her keepers. Rogue is definitely my favorite character. I hope to see Rayne kick butt and not need her keepers so much for protection, but in terms of a strong, confident woman who doesn't back down but has some vulnerabilities, Rayne is awesome. Bring on the conclusion!

Straight back into the action
Book 2 in the series and it’s not letting up. You jump straight back into the action and action packed this book is. Full of drama and twists and turns.... not forgetting the thoroughly smoking scenes in-between. The plot continues to amaze me with its uniqueness and Rowan certainly knows how to draw you into this world. I can’t express enough how this book will trigger every emotion. If you haven’t already go grab book 1 and get stuck in. You won’t be disappointed.

Can I have some more?
I possibly enjoyed this book more than the first, or it could be that I'm more invested in the characters as the story progresses. Like the first book, and everyrhing else Rowan Thalia writes, the sec scenes are plentiful and HOT. Looking forward to book 3!

Deliciously fast burn. I loved this book. Rayne and her men is on the run from their former employer. They are searching for knowledge and allies. More than one surprise was thrown at our feet, making this a nail biting story. I couldn't put the book down.
I highly recommend this series. You won't be disappointed.

Brilliant
Dann! This series is getting better as it goes along. I can't wait for the next instalment. This book was bloody amazing! I literally couldn’t put it down, I love the plot of the book, I love how well written the book was. But most of all, I loved the characters and how easy it was to relate to our heroine.
