The quality of the hardback edition is excellent, just as you would expect from a Dorling Kindersley publication, the immediate stand-out feature is the beautiful background artwork that accompanies the stunning photographs of the Lego Harry Potter sets, the book also includes some wonderful close-up photos of the minifigures, accessories, and fine details of the models. A very informative page accompanies each Wizarding World release, briefly referring to which book and film it belongs to, and explaining the background story for each model or character within the set, there's also a very handy reference for minifigures and certain objects, letting you know which Lego set they can be found in. Overall, it's a well designed visual guide with a nice balance of text for young Lego Harry Potter fans to read, a highly recommended book that's good value for money.
An entertaining book worthy of young nerds who wish to partake in the joys of the Harry Potter series in small bite-sizes, people obsessed with Legos, nostalgic adults, and those who need a quick Harry Potter fix to get through until your next re-read.
Tie-in to Harry Potter? Check. Lego models? Check. Obvious book to cash in on both markets in a book that is over half pictures and very little in way of substance? Double and triple check!
We have a lot of Harry Potter Lego sets and this book shows some of the amazing details found within these sets. You get a closeup view of a character or moment from the set and some information.
