About the author

Bukky Agboola is an ordained minister, award-winning gospel singer, and author, and sought-after speaker. She is a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. Her book I Made it Through tells her life story and struggles following the 1983 military takeover in Nigeria. She has released four gospel albums, two of which were sold out during her tours in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. My Hope is her latest CD release.

This book has a very unique take on love, worship and obedience. It is a must read to deepen one's love for God and trusting in Him during these challenging times. The author covered a lot and I was greatly challenged by her thought provoking questions at the end of each chapter. . Loved it! Highly recommend.

Using a variety of biblical examples, the author shows how we should show God love. It challenges our human understanding and thinking. This was a very thought provoking book and will cause you to re evaluate how we look at loving almighty God.

Wow! This is an excellent read and a highly challenging book. I am in awe of how simply this author tackled such a weighty subject matter. It is unlikely that your love for and walk with God will remain the same after reading this book. Highly recommended.

This book is a deep dive into the stories in the Bible where people gave God their unconditional love, even when it made no sense and how they prospered. Each chapter ends with a thoughtful question on how we can apply what we learned from the chapter to love God even more. Bukky is a beautiful story teller who also weaves in Bible verses to further illustrate her point. I recommend this if you need guidance on how to weather life's trials through trusting in God.

Challenging in a very positive way, life-transforming and faith-building book! Makes you look at everything you knew about your relationship with God and overcoming life's greatest trials in a whole new light. The thought-provoking questions at the ending of each chapter in the book are VERY helpful. Loved it! Read it twice already.
