Rate this book
There is a new edition of this book, Murach's JavaScript and jQuery (3rd Edition). jQuery is a free, open-source, JavaScript library that provides dozens of methods that make it easier to code JavaScript applications (like slide shows, carousels, and image swaps). Thatís just one of the reasons why jQuery is so widely used that every web developer needs to know how to use it...and use it well. And thatís where this book comes in.

I used it for my online course, and I found it to be a good basic starting line with working with websites.

Good overview. The format is really great for learning and it's nice to have the JavaScript foundation followed by jQuery.
