Mallory My professional life has taken off. Now if I could get a personal one, that would be great. He is so amazing. Good looking, smart, and everything I ever wanted. Why won't he let me love him?
Malachi Coming home from a life of service is hard. It's even harder when you're injured. Why did she have to be so beautiful? She is everything I never knew I wanted. Letting her love me was the easy part.
Don't let the title fool you, this book is full of all the MK Moore yumminess that you can handle. As always, you can expect a safe and steamy happily ever after.
After all, 425 Madison Ave is the perfect place to fall in love!
Each story is completely standalone, but you'll want to read them all. Trust me.
I had no idea there was such a thing as too many virgins in a book.
It's like that quote from the Incredibles, "When everyone's super, no one will be."
There were so many couples in this book too. And EVERYONE was pregnant within 24 hours of meeting each other, it seems. I mean, what is in the water??
Moving on.
I think this book had a lot of detail. The author really thought this one out and unlike some of her other books, didn't read like it was written over night. I didn't love all the different couples thrown into the story without any detail. They just didn't add anything to the story. I think it actually made the main couple seem less special. I know you're supposed to be happy when others get married and pregnant, etc, but this is fiction, and I generally like to read about one couple at a time in romance.
I liked the realness incorporated in each scene. It was refreshing. Just small details that add reality to a story that starts out with such an unbelievable plot (instalove and all that).
The hero was loving and devoted, and not controlling or too alpha, which I love. The heroine was ok but a little unbelievable.
With that said, if you're in the mood to read about a bunch of virgins recreating the baby booming years, look no further!

This is my favorite book by MK Moore so far. Mallory is a romance writer. When her friend and roommate has to leave she agrees to have her brother stay in the apartment. Malachi is home from the military after losing his leg and he feels lonely and incomplete. When these two meet sparks fly. I loved this couple. Mallory takes cares of Malachi and she is so protective of him! I loved this girl. Malachi is a sweet hero. He is so smitten and sexy. Safe: Both hero and heroine are virgins. Future epilogue with 8 kids melted my heart. Great story! I recommend!
This is my favorite book by MK Moore so far. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was also pleasantly surprised to find it was longer than her previous works. Who doesn't want more ott hot alpha possessiveness? -dual virgins -insta-love -injured military H -best friends brother -vulnerable yet alpha H -no abuse -no cheating -love how H loves h If you follow my reviews and find you like most, if not all of the books I like, you should DEFINITELY pick this one for your next read. I don't think you'll be disappointed. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Let Me Love You is the second book in the 425 Madison series, and I was eager to dive in after enjoying Must Love Coffee. Although each book in this series is a standalone, we did get a wee insight into this story with Must Love Coffee, hence my eagerness to dive in.
As much as I wanted to love Let Me Love You, I found the book wasn’t for me. It certainly had potential, and will appeal to certain people, but it was too much insta everything for me to enjoy it. I’m a big fan of development, of watching things grow, yet this one had everything happening in no time at all. They meet, they lose their virginities, they get engaged, they get married, they have kids, and so on, all in the span of days (obviously the kids bit spreads out over time, but the pregnancy is near-instant).
I could have handled this, had we been able to watch things. Instead, the book kept introducing new couples. Every person that was introduced fell in love, and it became too much. They were all wrapped up, put in pretty little bows, and I felt as though things were a wee bit rushed and over the top.
As I said, I’m sure some will enjoy this. Alas, it was not for me. Nonetheless, I continue to be intrigued by the series and will be diving into book three as soon as I get my hands on it.
I'm not going to rate this one because I just don't fit the audience for it. As much as I'm a fan of insta love/lust the h/H being married within a day or 2 of meeting may be just a bit much for me. I think if you're a fan of Alexa Riley's books this may work for you, but as much as I love a safe read this one missed the mark for me.
I uhm, idk. I felt like this moved crazy fast with everything. All the characters and situations were too much and I couldn't find or feel any connection to this. Some of the dialogue was cringey but negl, hot action. Wish it would've slowed down a bit.
I want to visit or live at 425 Madison Ave. The people are friendly, love is in the air, and it has such a draw to it that I know I couldn’t stay away.
In Let Me Love You we meet Malachi and Mallory. They are roommates by default and from first sight the attraction burns steaming hot. I loved how accepting Mallory was of Malachi’s history and that his current issues are not a deterrent to her love for him. Malachi is Mallory’s protector. He loves her, supports her writing, and does everything in his power to keep her safe.
The relationship between Malachi and Mallory is just too quick for me. I am a believer of love at first sight but dang, this was beyond that. They rushed their entire relationship. The sex, the relationship, the marriage, and the rest of their lives all move at warp speed. I wanted the sweet and sexy details, I wanted the anticipation but these two were act now! and hope for the best.
The book is short and fun. It was easy to read. I am excited to see what other stories will come out of this fun setting.
Good insta-love romance. Mallory is a romance writer without and romance in her life and Malachi is just coming back from war. Being injuried he doesn't think he is whole and good enough for Mallory. Can they both overcome their internal battles of self doubt to get their happily ever after?
The story was crazy AF, but I enjoyed it. The number of couples that got together in this book is larger than one might think (and they are all from the series) and the number of pregnancies is also high, to a point where I wonder if there was something in the water. Malachi and Mallory's relationship was moving with a very fast pace and it threw me a little off. There is no drama which was a good thing and I liked the characters. I would have liked to have this story in a full-length version because it would have given some time to the main characters to develop a more believable bond and the crazy stuff that went on. Too many stuff were added to the story which in my opinion weren't needed. There is not a moment's peace for our characters. Despite the rushed parts, I enjoyed the book very much and I feel like it deserves 4 stars from me.
I enjoyed learning more about Mallory and Malachi's story. I was introduced briefly to them in the first book of this series, Must Love Coffee. This book started off great. It was love at first sight and they had a strong connection from then on. I also enjoyed the ending. Filling in the details of years beyond was beautiful. I love knowing what came after the initial bang. My main issue with this story was the amount of drama in the middle. I understand one person going through some issues, but for three characters to have the exact same issue was just too much for my liking. I truly did enjoy Mallory and Malachi's story, but throwing in similar stories for their friends just didn't flow well for me.
Mallory, a famous writer who is currently having the first of two books made in to a movie, is getting a temporary roommate while hers, Margo, is heading to Paris due to her job. Though the new guy will technically be a stranger, but he's also Margo's brother.
Malachi is struggling. His career in the military ended way too soon and left him missing a leg. He'll be starting a new job soon, and already having a place to stay lessens some of the stress. He just never expected to instantly fall in love with his new roomie.
Malachi and Mallory fall hard and fast, their lives merging effortlessly in all ways, except one. While they're basking in their new love, and looking forward to the future they're going to have together as husband and wife, Margo does not react as they'd hoped.
Add in her less than happy response - Malachi ignoring her when she tries and Mallory getting nothing - the fact he's still adjusting to the changes forced upon him because of his injury, Mallory worrying about the film and the danger suddenly seeming to be coming for her, and what was supposed to be a happy time has become anything but. Oh, they're still as in love as ever, but it seems as if the world is conspiring against them. Will they overcome it?
One-click now and follow along as these two people, a couple that will share all their firsts with one another, discover their soulmate and face the many obstacles that come their way. Now, on a purely personal note, while I enjoyed this book quite a lot, not one, not two, but three women, all in the same circle, having danger shadowing them was a bit much. Also, I could not stand Margo. I understand it was explained that she was, in her own way, trying to protect her brother, BUT, she essentially threw her so called best friend under the bus and called her a flake. She determined on her own, despite the fact Mallory is a best selling author and two books had been contracted for the big screen, that she wouldn't be able to handle the long-term repercussions of Malachi's injury. For someone that supposedly loves Mallory, she really has a crappy opinion of her. It makes you second guess their friendship, the realness of it and whether it's all one-sided on Mallory's part. Margo was forgiven way too easily and I think portraying it as a sisterly concern and brushing her behavior aside so quickly was a disservice to Mallory.
**I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.**
This is an engaging best friend’s sibling romance that involves Mallory's best friend going to work abroad and her brother, Malachi, moving into their shared apartment. I was intrigued by the blurb and requested and was gifted a copy of it. This is my honest review after choosing to read and review it.
Malachi had been seriously injured and needed his leg amputated so this ex-serviceman is coming to terms with that and now being unable to continue in the job he'd loved. Mallory is the author of highly popular steamy romances, having her first highly successfully published when she was just sixteen. However, despite the content and descriptions in her stories they really are a work of fiction as she's still a virgin . . . . but the attraction between these two is so hot and steamy that's sure to change and soon!
The story isn't just about their romance, it also involves a stalker, danger, bodyguards, other romances, different people who live and work at 425 Madison Avenue - and even one of Mallory's stories being filmed! It is an easy to escape into story which covers many more years than most. The romance tests the friendships and siblings but that's not all that will be tested in this great addition to the series! It is an insightful look at some of the difficulties experienced by the main characters for different reasons but I'm not going to say more as I don't want to give any spoilers away! I have read the previous book in this series (and enjoyed that one, too) but believe this would still work well as a standalone for people who haven't read that one. They are engaging and entertaining reads, great stories to escape into and I look forward to reading other books in the series in future.
I really wanted to love this book. I loved meeting Mal, however briefly in Must Love Coffee, the first book in the 425 Madison series. She was such a great character and she is, but for me the Insta-Love/Virgin thing didn't work for me. Mallory and Malachi meet when he stays in her apartment to recuperate while Mal's roommate and Malachi's sister Margot is working in France for a year. Their relationship is sort of a wham, bam, I love you ma'am sort of thing. I like relationships and every set of couples in the story had the same thing happen to them.
For me that insta-love everywhere detracted from Mallory and Malachi's very fast and very hot love. I'm not saying that insta-love doesn't happen, because over 60 years ago, my mom and dad met and 3 months later were married.
What I adored was Malachi. I love that he was an alpha male, while being a slightly imperfect hero. It was definitely refreshing to see an injured hero. I loved how he constantly wanted to protect Mallory.
The drama between the lead actor in the movie version of Mal's book was an interesting touch that's very up on the times.
This was a super quick read that can be enjoyed in an afternoon. I can't wait to find out what happens in 425 Madison next.
SO not what I thought it was going to be and while yes, overall, after I've had time to sit back and digest everything, the story itself isn't bad. The premise of a female writer writing what she doesn't know until shades of gray are removed to a world saturated with color, a wounded soldier (in more ways than one) finding love again (of both himself and another), friendships put to the test, and eventually, the chance for everyone in some fashion to show that despite the odds others stacked against them, they made their lives their own. Here's my catch or rather catches...
First, too much of a "good thing" can be too much....which is probably what landed that "erotic" add on to the genre it resides in because yeah, once they get started...they don't plan on stopping. Second, the language...I don't really care to read a character's inner (or outer, for that matter) monologue that is constantly foul mouthed. Last, and probably least...honestly, I didn't believe the connection between the lead characters, or at least how rapidly it happened. So while it wasn't my all time favorite, it doesn't mean it won't be yours!
I was pleasantly surprised at how much I adored this book. Once I started, I was absorbed into the story and fell in love with all of the characters.
I must say though, at first, I was like WTH? These characters are moving REALLY fast but it worked for them and the story! They both knew exactly what they were looking for in a significant other and knew once they found it, there was no turning back. They fell hard and fast and I adored reading every minute of their love affair.
My favorite part was that the author did not leave us hanging and gave us a glimpse into the future. By giving us a great one year later and an epilogue, we got to see how well these two faired after a long ten years together.
This story was short, sweet and to the point. I cannot wait to see what else this series is going to bring!
I absolutely loved Malachi and his woman, Mallory's story! But, I also loved that the author, MK Moore provided her readers and fans an awesome full length novel too :) <3
This story was amazing from start to finish. It had great main characters, their chemistry was sizzling sexy and hot ;), their instant connection was tangible and felt real, at least for me :)
It also had great secondary characters, the story's plot-line was well executed, some angst, some low drama (don't worry, there's no exes), absolutely NO CHEATING, hot as hell intimate scenes, some action, but above all, a wonderful happy ending for Malachi and his soul-mate, his woman, his everything, his forever, Mallory <3 <3
This read was definitely a phenomenal addition to the 425 Madison Avenue Series! :)
Let me love you by MK Moore. This was a really enjoyable read with great characters. Loved malachi and Mallory. I loved the ending too. Perfect. 5*.
Two strangers find their soulmate in M.K. Moore's emotionally alluring, Let Me Love You. When a romance writer and a wounded soldier meet for the first time, neither expects the chaotic feelings that they feel to go anywhere, but when living in close quarters starts to feel like home, everything changes. A lonely heart and broken soul find the perfect fit. Mallory and Malachi are the right kind of endearing. With a tasty blend of sweet and spicy, Moore cooks up an irresistible treat.
I know this has a pretty high star average, but I just couldn’t like this book at all.
I don’t really mind insta-love, but this was just a bit too instant and fast paced for me. It felt very unrealistic and very short as well. Not to even mention all the dialogue and inner thoughts that just got repetitive and again felt very unrealistic.
I honestly thought I would end up liking this book from the blurb, but no.
This was not the sweet forbidden best friends brother romance I was hoping for. Instead it was an incredibly short read, more like a novella, that had almost no plot, completely unrealistic scenarios, and was basically sex and dirty talk. Yep, this book was not for me. I'm sure others will enjoy this, but I did not
This is INSTALOVE to the max and very fast paced. Meet and marry the same day. We then read about how their families respond, how their careers progress, how Mallory is a stalker target as is her random new friend, reporter Lana.
Too fast-paced for any depth, but enjoyable nonetheless.
I loved that we got a full length novel from MK Moore. Malachi and Mallory were so good together. It’s insta-love and long journey for them, with a few blips along the way. It was nice to see them be able to work out life’s challenges that were thrown their way.
There was just so much to like about this book. This was my first book from this author I was very happy with my discovery. I will say that at the start of the book I questioned the belief that these characters would act the way they did. Considering the beliefs they held and the lives they had lived up to that point it seemed so very unlikely to me and yet.... this book managed to sweep me up into Mallory and Malachi's romance and have me 100% in their corner. This book delivers so much to the reader. It has incredibly likable lead characters, a amazing collection of support characters, powerful emotions, heart melting romance, steamy passion, drama, angst, a touch of danger, some serious sweetness and a well written storyline that keeps you entertained, engaged and surprised along the way. I fell in love with these characters and their story and if I started my journey with doubts by the end they were laid to rest and the author provided an ending that was not only satisfying, it was an opulent feast for the reader. Trust me, you should read this book! This is my honest, voluntary review.
I liked this book. However I wished reading this book it would have given more information about Mallory and Malachi. In the story Mallory lives in this posh apartment building and she is a romance novelist. Her roommate goes out of town and the roommate’s brother comes to stay with Mallory whose name is Malachi. Malachi is injured while serving in the military. The day they meet they instantly fall in love and end up sleeping together. Malachi decides that he wants to ask Mallory to marry him. They didn’t date or hang out together before deciding that they were head over heels in love with each other. During his marriage to Mallory he goes to work for a security company. I wish the security company could have been put more into the story. In the book you didn’t learn anything about Mallory or Malachi. This book has a lot of steamy moments between Mallory and Malachi throughout the story.
I would’ve loved this story more if it didn’t feel like the book is a whole rush. The core of their love story is cute and beautiful and they are full of love for each other. And the way she helps her heal, the conversation he had with the old lady neighbor about his husband that also lost a leg, were beautiful. But the story begins in Christmas, then in one paragraph it’s January and he met her family( which only was mentioned not described in detail), the next paragraph it’s Valentine’s Day, and then it’s months later. The book would’ve been awesome if I could live all the events with Malachi & Mallory. And there are other couples but I don’t see that they have their own books. I loved their love story but didn’t love the way it was presented, like in a rush. And one of the things I loved the most was that they were each other’s first. Dual virgins!!
Safe. Dual virgins Insta-love No separation No cheating HEA
Absolutely loved everything about this story and can’t wait to read the rest of this series. Mallory is a successful erotica author and is preparing for one of her novels to be made into a film, but she’s never had a real relationship of her own. Malachi has been through a tough time and has one less limb because of it. So when he has made arrangements to stay with his sisters roommate while he gets back on his feet, he never expected to have the immediate connection with her. Luckily the Mallory feels the same connection and is right there with him. I love their relationship from beginning to end, how Mallory doesn’t see Malachi’s disability, she embraces him fully. This book gave me all the feels. Definitely recommend this and all of MK’s other books.
Let Me Love You is an instant love story about Mallory and Malachi, who you meet in Must Love Coffee. I’m not familiar with M. K. Moore’s work so I didn’t know what to expect as I was reading LMLY, but I was not disappointed in how Moore wrote Mallory’s and Malachi’s story. I really enjoyed reading LMLY because the love that they had for each other was written so well I could feel the love they had through my phone. I thought it was incredibly sweet how Moore perfectly conveyed how supportive they were for each other, whether it be Malachi’s injury or Mallory’s writing.. The one thing I think was a bit forced was that the other couples went through the EXACT same thing as Mallory and Malachi did and it seemed a bit much but other than that I loved Let Me Love You.
This was first book by M K Moore. It’s the second in the 425 Madison series.
I went in blind to this book, reading it in the grounds that I loved the first book in the series and I had met the characters before in that book. I loved how the attraction was instant and Malachi s injury simple didn’t even register with Mallory. It was hot insta love at its best. I loved his possessiveness of her. The added story line of the crazy actor stalker added a line of suspense. About two thirds in I felt that so much happened I couldn’t keep up. Lots of info was given about other characters and their new relationship that seemed to come out of no where. I went with it as I wasn’t sure if it was setting up characters for another book.
I especially loved the two extended epilogues . I love seeing the characters living their happy ever after, it was perfect, all the kids and happiness.
