Surprise ending!

Readers can be rest assured that this is a premise that they’ve not experienced before. With two stories in one, the main character Faith learns more about herself—her emotional attachment, her past, her loss. You are there every step of the way for the twists and turns that leave Faith into emotions she is having for the first time, and they bring her a renewed vigor for life and connection, not only in this realm but also beyond. You’ll be rooting for Faith all the way to the end as she searches for answers along the way to her stirring questions, while facing challenges about love, grief, hope, and of course faith.

‘Finding Faith’ was such a delightful story, full of romance with a mystery woven throughout. It is mostly set in Arizona, and we get descriptions of some beautiful landscapes. We meet Faith right after a break-up, dealing with some very relatable feelings, and get to follow her journey to discover more about herself and her past. The book also contains a few deaths, mostly off page, which led to some really positive representations of loss and grief.

I was taken out of the story a little few things, mainly multiple names for a person or place and the logistics around Faith’s housing and employment, but most of that is cleared up by the end of the story. I do also wish we spent a little more time with Terese, so we see how they were close enough that she was willing to do so much to help Faith.

I appreciate the shorter chapter length. That, paired with the POV only switching twice instead of frequently from chapter to chapter, made this a really smooth read. It’s compelling enough that I ended up reading most of it in one sitting- I didn’t want to put it down until I knew the truth about Faith and Michael. This was an overall enjoyable read.

I’m still crying thinking of this story. So much to take in. The way Faith loses her faith and finds it once again resonated with me. She loses a horrible man but it’s her friend that helps her see that her life has meaning.

Michael’s story was intertwined with hers because he also lost his faith. Their connection felt real and raw from the beginning. I don’t want to give too much away, but I will say this story is so satisfying that you will love it from start to finish. I almost wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

This was a decent book hard to follow at times. I did not like the cliff hanger ending. The book did have a lot of emotions.

Finding Faith is a wonderful book of loss, love and romance. Reading this story renewed my faith that God has a plan for everyone. My favorite part of the book was when Michael took Faith on a picnic and brought along homemade sugar cookies. As a former Pastry Chef, I could relate. This book was a great read and I highly recommend it.

This book was my first introduction to Michelle and my first Christian fiction story. I really enjoyed it and glad I took a step out of my normal genres to read it.

First, I really LOVED the short chapters. It helped to keep the pace of the book moving smoothly and made for a more exciting read for me. Second, Michelle has a real gift when it comes to writing a story with multiple layers, but yet it all came together perfectly. We navigate through grief & loss, we have the beautiful side of romance, a bit of mystery aspect and just overall a good read. I loved Faith & Michael together and how they truly fought to overcome the many obstacles that were put into their paths to keep them apart. It really reminded me of how obstacles can come into our paths to keep us away from God, but if we fight through it, it will only make us stronger. I felt that strongly with Faith and her character growth from beginning to end. Self- growth is so important after going through grief and other negative impacts in life. Michelle is an incredible writer and I can’t wait to see what other books she brings into the world in the future.

Finding Faith celebrates life in a world full of unfortunate circumstances. As the main characters come together through an unexpected series of events, surely the angels are watching over them. They each slowly navigate individual journeys that eventually lead them to each other. This novel kept me turning the pages to the very end.

Faith was a good book overall. The story is cute, with a good storyline. If someone told me they wanted to read it, I would encourage them to do so. It was a fast easy read.
Faith goes through a breakup and ends up moving to a small town where everyone's faces look familiar and she isn't sure why. When she goes to visit her friend she meet Michael and the sparks fly.

"Finding Faith" by Michelle Romano is a gripping tale of love, loss, grief, joy and the restorative power of faith and hope. Faith Neely is a young woman who has found true love, she feels, with Daniel, a charming young man who, unbeknownst to Faith, also has a dark side. When he disappears unexpectedly, Faith's journey begins toward a deeper understanding of her past and herself and, ultimately, the true love for which she has yearned.

The book is beautifully written. It has many twists and turns and leaves the reader in suspense at the end of every chapter. It is a fast moving tale and hard to put down, a very good read. Highly recommended.

'Finding Faith' isn't your typical love story. It's a journey of self discovery and finding a place within this world that you belong. Faith finds herself in a town with so much just waiting for her to discover. Michael has a journey of his own to walk and it's just amazing as their paths cross.

This book is a work of absolute beauty. The web of emotions weaved in this story was masterfully done. I just can't say enough. Just wonderful.

It took all my discipline to try not to finish this book in one day. For a romance genre which I usually don't read, I find this one intriguing. Describing the blessings of old age and reconciliation between parents and their children. Wonderful work from the author.

This is a story about love and loss with a mysterious twist . I did like this story and the bases of it but I did feel in part alittle robotic at times. This story isn't like anything I've ever read before , and it did keep me reading till the end because I'm a hopeless romantic at heart! I would just have liked to have had more depth in the characters . Overall I would recommend this to anyone, based on the uniqueness of the story!

A Heartfelt Journey of Healing, Mystery, and Love

Finding Faith by Michelle Romano is a beautiful blend of romance, self-discovery, and small-town mystery that instantly pulled me in. The story follows Faith, whose heartbreak leads her from the chaos of New York to a quiet Arizona town—one that seems to know her better than she knows herself.

As she pieces together the secrets of her past through heartfelt letters and surprising connections, the story becomes more than just a romance—it becomes a journey of emotional healing and rediscovery. I loved watching Faith grow stronger with every chapter, especially with the help of the friends she meets along the way and the magnetic firefighter who slowly captures her heart.

Romano’s writing is warm and immersive, with a perfect balance of suspense, tenderness, and hope. If you enjoy clean romances with a hint of mystery and a lot of heart, Finding Faith will not disappoint. A touching and uplifting read from start to finish!

I loved this book. This was a book that once I started I had a hard time putting down because I just wanted to know what was going to happen next. With Faith and if Micheal was going to reveal who he was.

I loved the short chapters of this one and think that is why I found myself not wanting to put it down. Because the more I got into it the more I found myself enjoying the characters, the journey and everything about this book. And the short chapters were a big part of that.

I really loved the character development between Faith and Micheal. Because it seemed like every time they were around each other, they couldn’t keep their hands off each other. It isn’t until we learn about Micheal and his background as well as them together that makes you realize how good they are together. And the fact that they have friends who are willing to help play match maker and make sure that they end up together in the end.

I do think that the beginning was a bit rushed. Because it goes from Faith being told to she needs a change of scenery to her getting the change of scenery to her staying full time and getting a job. I just would have liked to see more of the friendship between Faith and Terese.

Finding Faith is a beautiful story about love loss, resilience, and finding solace in something you never even thought existed. The author did a great job in writing the fragmented mind of someone who is dealing with memory loss, a jilted woman who is trying to make sense of the pieces of everyday life around her. My favorite part was the enduring love between a mother and daughter and even how, after death, that love remained all around and the main character found comfort in it. And how the stories of Michael and Faith connected. I loved the surprise twist, and it tied in beautifully with the overall theme of the book.

Finding Faith is a beautiful written story of heartache and love. It takes you on a journey of faiths mom and Cole aka Michael father and their shared friendship that leads to faith and Cole meeting each other. It's a tear jerker and one can get emotional at times. But through it all there is a beautiful story of how two people find what they have always been looking for. I hope Michelle would consider writing a second novel on faith and Cole journey. I love how she brings faith in God into her novels. It's a must read.

I'm sorry to crap on the author's work, but this was not well written story. The plot was strange and undeveloped with some random stuff, such as the heroine being left at the beginning by her controlling, abusive boyfriend (which considering the nature of abusive control freaks, didn't seem likely) and then after she sleeps with the same stranger several times in public places, she falls in love with him. The abusive boyfriend from before just disappears stage left. Very odd. Then add to that the hyper details of meeting every resident in Hill City and the old people's home she starts to work in.

I managed to skip 10-15 pages at a time, read a paragraph and know what had happened. Not for me, but it may be someone else's cup of tea.

This is a beautifully written story demonstrating that the path to love is often not straight but that you should keep your heart open because sometimes it happens in unexpected ways and in places that you might not even be looking. Faith falls in love with Daniel, a man that she believes is the one for her. She finds out, though, that there is a dark side to Daniel and then he leaves. When she is forced to deal with some things from their relationship and her past, Faith finds out things about herself and what she would also want in a relationship. It leads her to something deeper and stronger than she could have anticipated given where it started.

A Powerful Story about Hope & Faith
Another great book by Michelle Romano. This book drew me in from the very first page. The emotional depth of Faith’s journey is beautifully written, Michelle does an excellent job capturing all the emotions. The mysteries in the story make it impossible to put the book down. The setting is vivid, and the relationships, especially with the residents at the nursing home, add so much heart to the story. If you enjoy stories about second chances and finding meaning in unexpected places, with a layer of mystery that sparks your curiosity and keeps you wanting answers, then this is a must-read. I highly recommend it!

"Finding Faith" intricately weaves the emotional tapestries of Faith and Michael's lives and the emotional journeys they have both survived. Michelle masterfully balances the complexity of their personal journeys—Faith's mysterious past and Michael's struggle with trauma—with vivid descriptions of the setting that almost become characters in their own right. Every side character and scene unravels a new secret that captivates you and keeps you eagerly flipping to the next chapter. This novel captures the essence of confronting one’s past, while chasing the elusive promise of new beginnings.

This romance/mystery is chock full of spiritual delight. I especially liked the author’s descriptions of elder-care residents facing end-of-life experiences. The underlying theme of eternal love crossing into the afterlife was beautifully written. The spicey scenes of instant attraction seemed magical. Finding Faith is a unique debut novel with depth, and I look forward to reading more from this promising author!
