From New York Times Bestselling Author Kristen Proby comes an all-new novel in her beloved With Me In Seattle series, Dance With Me.
Starla. Just Starla.
She doesn’t have a last name, and she doesn’t need one. Not with that many Grammys on her mantel. Everyone knows her kick-ass, no-holds-barred style of singing, dancing, and living.
No one knows that America’s Sweetheart is still living with the wreckage of four years ago, when her world was torn apart. Losing her fiancé was devastating, but she’s channeled all of that into her music. Closing off her heart opened a hundred new doors.
Officer Levi Crawford, Seattle PD.
For almost twenty years, Levi has been consumed by the law. He eats, sleeps, and breathes work. Not just because he’s a workaholic, but because he loves it. Sure, he doesn’t have time for a woman and barely sees the rest of his family, but it’s a trade he’s always been happy to make.
Until Starla.
Two lonely hearts could learn to beat again, if they’re willing to dance together.
Kristen Proby is a New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestselling author of over seventy published titles. She debuted in 2012, captivating fans with spicy contemporary romance about families and friends with plenty of swoony love. She also writes paranormal romance and suggests you keep the lights on while reading them.
When not under deadline, Kristen enjoys spending time with her husband and their fur babies, riding her bike, relaxing with embroidery, trying her hand at painting, and, of course, enjoying her beautiful home in the mountains of Montana.
I've been a fan of the With Me in Seattle since the very beginning. This is where I fell in love with Kristen Proby and every book since then has just made me love her writing even harder. I'm not even a huge fan of long series since I feel like so many of them either get repetitive or too jumbled with so many characters to remember - side note, my memory sucks. But that's not the case with this series. Every book sucks me deeper into these character's lives and has me wishing they were a real family that I could somehow marry into.
Levi and Starla previously met in one of the past books but we never actually got to see what happened between them. Which means I've been dying to get my hands on their book since that moment. And now that I've read their story I couldn't be happier. They were an insanely adorable pair and Levi, oh Levi, he was swoon worthy in the best ways. I can't pick a favorite character from this author but I can definitely say that Levi is one of the top ones. He was protective and sexy and just yummy. And Starla was everything I like in a heroine. When I hear popstar I automatically think of a spoiled princess, but that wasn't Starla though. She was so down to earth and easy to relate to I couldn't help but love her.
Overall, you need to read this story. The best part about this series is that all of the books connect but honestly you could read this one without reading any of the others. Past characters some up, even a few cameo's from characters out of another Kristen Proby series, but there's no spoilers about them or anything mentioned that would have you feeling lost. That's my opinion on it and also my way of trying to get anyone that hasn't started this amazing series yet to finally get to it.

Well it's official Dance With Me will be my last Kristen Proby book, I have been struggling with her last seven books but I did not want to give up on her, but reading them became predictable and by this one it was painful, pleasure has sadly turned to pain for me.
I feel that each book is a carbon copy of each other, throw in different locations and names, the H is always strong, dependable and always has a good job, the h needs to get away from something, has a family drama or a trauma from her past and she will need rescuing in the punultimate chapter.
Even her characters have become stale, they just annoy me.
Someone should teach Kristen how to write a proper suspenseful scene SERIOUSLY when I read the crime scene in this don't ask how many eye rolls I did, I thought how OVER THE TOP it was, even Freddy, Jason or Michael (horror icons) did not go to that extreme only Leatherface and he had a chainsaw not a friggin knife.
I shelved it after 40% but I was determined to finish it so I went back in but I ended up skimming the last 60%. I guess thirty-eight books is my limit.
It is sad when this happens to a favourite author but I guess my taste have changed to what I used to love. I prefer her earlier work, this series should have ended with the Montgomerys, they had the magic touch, even old faces could not save this for me.
8th May 2019
At 40% and I'M BORED - same old story just with a different title.
Time to give KP a break, words I thought I would never say.
Will pick this up again at a later date when I feel FLUFFY.
Dance with Me is the twelfth book in one of my favorite series, With Me In Seattle and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Stella and Levy’s story was a great addition to the series. The story brings back many familiar faces from the series as the family and friends come to know and care about Stella and Levy. it was like old home week catching up on these characters that I enjoyed so much in the previous books. Stella and Levy have some wonderful chemistry and I loved this dynamic duo and how they complemented each other perfectly. If you love Kristin Proby's writing, and this series, you will enjoy this trip back to Seattle as much as I did.
“You’re mine, Starla. You’ve been mine for a long time. Maybe forever. It just took me more than forty years to find you.”
“He takes care of my soul. My heart. In ways I didn’t know I needed.”
4.5 - "Loving you is the easiest thing I've ever done..." Stars!
We return to the With Me in Seattle series for book twelve; cop Levi Crawford, and superstar; Starla Mason’s story.
I didn’t consider what we did to be a one-night stand… One-night stands don’t feel like that.
The questions surrounding what happened between this pair have been bouncing around for the last couple of books, having met and obviously had a connection, Levi has been very tight lipped with his brothers as to what actually happened with Starla the last time she was in town visiting mutual friends.
"I’ll never let anything happen to you… Ever."
"…I know."
Back in town, on a forced break by her doctor, Starla is pretty much burnt out, working full time, non-stop for years has left her, in poor health, and experiencing dizzy spells. Renting a house from one of the many Montgomery clan and spending time with friends is just what the doctor ordered, the location of the property also happens to be in close proximity to Wyatt Crawford’s home, and it doesn’t take Levi long to find out who his brothers, new albeit temporary neighbour is, and to decide that this time he is playing for keeps, and not just a night.
He’d become a constant in my life, in a very short period of time…
But trouble seems to have followed Starla to Seattle in the form of a stalker, thankfully she has Levi looking out for her and no-one is getting near his woman while he is around to protect her.
"He takes care of me… he takes care of my soul. My heart… in ways I didn’t know I needed."
I generally enjoy a read by this author and Dance With Me was no exception, my only gripe is the fact that each book that she has released lately seems to have gotten shorter and shorter in length, which is a shame because Proby excels at giving her characters emotional depth and background, and that is something that is being missed because of the lack of page count. This definitely wasn’t a struggle to read, I love getting to check in on the rest of the clan from the previous books in the series, and the little jaunt to Cunningham Falls was a great addition too, I just wanted more flesh to the story, because it certainly had the bones to build on.

SWOOOOONNNNNN… That’s right, Dance With Me is a major swoonfest! Emotionally impactful, mind tauntingly funny and scorchingly HOT! Starla and Levi are now my fav couple of this new wave of my beloved series, With Me In Seattle.
I’ve been dying for Starla’s story every since she made that cameo on Breathe With Me, and after seeing her first meeting with Levi on Love With Me, and that little tease of what happened between them, OMG, I can only say I was beyond jittery to find out all things Starla and Levi and for them to get their HEA.
“Touch me like that, and it turns into this.” “I wasn’t touching you in a sexy way.” “You were touching me,” he says simply. “That’s all it seems to take with you.”
Oh dear lord, the chemistry between these two is OFF THE CHARTS!!! Those of us that read Love With Me, knew going in that it had to be to leave such an impact on stoic law enforcement officer Levi, but after reading this, I can honestly say that Dance WIth Me surpassed all my expectations in every. Single. Way.
We already new how amazingly talented, fantastic friend and overall kickass, Starla is, but in this story we truly got to know her, her past and her heart. Heart that raced every time that Levi came in the picture.
After that unforgettable first night together, to which Starla didn’t react very well, lol, destiny brought her back to Seattle, and practically to Levi’s lap. Not a man to deny his feelings – specially when they are as ‘once in a lifeline’ as this ones that Starla evokes -, Levi, even if cautiously, grabs this chance with both hands, and uses it to show Starla all they can be. Together.
I absolutely ADORED these two! Besides being overall fantastic on their own, together they were pure magic! And Levi… This man… Completely stole my heart!!! Yep, there’s a new KP best book boyfriend in town, and he knows how to completely lock us up. SO freaking loving, passionate and HOT! Truly all swoons and all the feels!
“You’re mine, Starla. You’ve been mine for a long time. Maybe forever. It just took me more than forty years to find you.”
Kristen Proby has such a gift for creating the most mature and relatable – yes, even when the character has a celebrity background, which isn't an easy task, lol – characters and love stories, while unraveling all these emotions and feelings from within our hearts. Dance With Me is written proof of that. So engaging from the get go, gripping and most of all, passionate and realistic! Starla and Levi will forever be on top of my KP fav couples, and that ending was PURE GOLD! No wonder With Me In Seattle started my love for all things Kristen Proby, books like this just take that already devotion to a whole new level. Can’t wait to see what more she will give us next in this universe! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

These Crawford brothers just keep getting better and better. I think Levi is the best of the Crawford Brothers. I luv how protective he is and will do anything to help anyone. He's also very sexy God this guy is bossy strong and a police officer who doesn't like a sexy cop right. He is one of the best police officer around and luvd his job he doesn't know anything else it's what he has alway done. But now his job isn't the only thing on her mind. There's a sexy singer Starla that he can't get out of his mind. After sharing an evening of passion with her and then not hearing a thing after he never thought he would get to be near her again. Until she was back in Seattle on a break. Now he wasn't going to let her go he couldn't of been the only one who felt something that night.
Starla is brilliant. This woman works her backside off. She is famous singer and has been working none stop for years. It's just a cycle that she is used to know she doesn't know any different. After go in through a horrible time with her last partner she never thought she could let anyone else into her life like that again until Levi Crawford. There night together made her see she could try and feel something but it scared the crap out of her.
I have to say Levi and Starla are amazing together. No matter what happens between them they make things work. There so sexy together to wow there smoking hot. The sexual chemistry between was so hot. Levi is a strong alpha guy and Starla needs someone to to take care of her and Levi is that guy. Levi can be a lil overbearing at time but he has his reasons someone is treating his woman and he will do anything to protect what's his no matter what.
This book is amazing. There isn't a book that I haven't liked from this author. No matter what she does I luv. I've been looking forward to this book since the last book in this series. I knew something hot had happened between them and knew a lil about both characters so I was looking forward to there book. There story was so good it has everything in it. I luvd the drama and the sexiness of the story. I'm dying to know if there will be more to this series. It's one of my all time favourites so I'm really hoping there will.
With one of the HOTTEST prologues I’ve read in a long time, Kristen Proby certainly set quite the delicious tone for her latest release, 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗲. This beauitful, emotional, and sexy romance features two characters that you will have absolutely no problems falling in love with…a sassy heroine that knows how to handle herself and an alphalicious hero who will MAKE. YOU. MELT. The journey to Starla and Levi’s happily ever after was a swoony one, an entertaining one, and an unforgettable one. If you're looking for an escape to your happy place, this 𝘞𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘔𝘦 𝘐𝘯 𝘚𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 novel is the book for you.

First Impressions This had a fling to second chance romance feel to it. This does have a heroine that is a famous musician and a hero who is a protective cop. I really enjoyed the dynamic between them. It does start out with a intimate scene which isn't my favorite. I am not into the instant flings in stories but I see why the author wrote this as she did to really set up for the second chance aspects. I found this book to have great potential but fell a bit flat in the end for me. I wanted to love this more than I actually did. I think though I have always done her books in audio and I think that is why I didn't love this as much as I wanted to.
First Line "You like that?" he growls into my ear, his eyes pinned to mine in the mirror in front of us.
The Main Protagonists The Hero: Levi Crawford The Heroine: Stella
Summary Stella is a famous musician but she has some demons in her past that she can't seem to let go of. She shares a brilliant connection with Levi Crawford, who is a PD in Seattle. When she is sent home by her doctor to take a break from the tour as she is suffered from trauma and needs some rest, she runs into Levi again. But this time, Levi isn't going to let her brush him off like she did their first time together. He is going to court her but protect his heart until he knows she will treat it well. Levi is consumed by his work and for the first time he needs the solace he can find in Stella's arms. But there is a danger that surrounds Stella that could put them both at risk.
What I Loved I really loved the hero, Levi Crawfod, was so sexy and I loved him as the hero. He was likeable and sexy but also had principles and stood for something. I also respected how he stood for himself and set boundaries in the relationship. When you see how the heroine treats him in the beginning, you really respect what he sets for their relationship. Stella is in need of some rest, relaxation and some good ole fashioned wooing. lol And Levi woo's her deeply and I was all for the whole dating dance they do in this book. We need so much more of that in contemporary romance that I feel is missing in so many books these days.
What I Struggled With I struggled with the most was the heroine and in how she treats the hero. It wasn't easy seeing how she treats him in the beginning. I also feel like I struggled with the writing in this one, and maybe its because I have only physically read her novellas lol I also felt like there were some unanswered questions. The biggest one was Stella didn't seem to want a family or kids....but the hero obviously did and they never really tackled that later in the story so it was a bit confusing where she stood on that once they were together in the end. And please read the trigger warnings for this book, there is a scene that might be troubling for some dealing with a homicide Levi is looking into and its really heartbreaking to read.
Overall View Dance with Me was a fascinating and sexy read that was quick and had its emotional moments to keep you invested from beginning to end.

Simmering cup of tea---soft warm touches and light intimacy Warmin' by the fire- a medium level of sexual tension, a balance of sexual and emotional intimacy, lighter on the details in the sexual moments. Steamin' up the room -the sexual content is more explicit in the language and tone, heavier amount of sexual scenes. Dance With Me delivers the perfect blend of sweet and sexy that is sure to dance away with your heart….
Dance With Me is the 12th book in the With Me In Seattle Series, but can be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel. Dance With Me follows the story of Starla & Levi. On the outside, Starla appears to have it all: the perfect job, the money and notoriety that comes with being famous. But, on the inside, Stara is a mess. She’s worked hard for the life that she has, but has pushed herself to the breaking point in order to forget the ghosts of her past. She’s beyond exhausted and burnt out. So, when her doctor advises her to take some time off, it couldn’t have come at a better time. The one thing she didn’t plan on was the sexy Levi coming back into her life….
Dance With Me had me hooked from the very first page. The prologue perfectly sets up the chemistry between Stara and Levi and will leave you aching for more. Levi is the alpha who’s got not only a sweet side, but a heart of gold. He sees the potential that he could have with Starla and isn’t about to let her walk away. But, Starla isn’t going to make things easy for Levi. She’s got plenty of reasons as to why they can’t/won’t work. But, if anyone can break down Starla’s walls, it’s Levi. The road to happily ever after for these two isn’t without it’s ups and downs. Their story is filled with mystery and intrigue that will leave you on the edge of your seat as well as some wonderful chemistry and scorching good times.
All in all, Dance With Me was a lot of fun to read and I had the best time getting swept up in Levi and Starla’s story. These two characters just had an ease about them that just pulled you and made you want to devour their story. Dance With Me had just the right mix of angst, drama, mystery and sexiness. I loved catching up with our friends from previous stories and seeing how their stories intertwined.
Dance With Me is a terrific addition to the With Me In Seattle Series and I look forward to seeing what this author has in store for us next.
*I was provided an ARC copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review*
I love Kristen Proby’s books, her stories have romance through and through for me. She gives me butterflies, the feels and love from the core in every character I’ve read. But I have to say this one comes in the top 5 I was drawn to the characters and loved how the story progressed from beginning to end.
What’s it about and what I loved Levi is the brother to Wyatt and Jase in the previous books, he is a police officer and is also focused on the force alone.. That is until he has some intimate time with Starla an all time singer and dancer. But boy does she make him work for it and not give him what he wants straight away. Good things happen to those that work for it though right?
What I loved about this read is they really got to know each other first before they took it any further after their initial ‘meet up’. Plus the plot got thicker and thicker the more I read, so whereas usually in a Kristen Proby book you know your getting lots of sexy moments, in this story the story had me guessing what was happening, is it him is it her?! There is a bit of an investigation going on, which mixes well with Levi’s job.
I LOVED both Levi and Starla! With Levi he is sooo loving and protective and intense. Just really was there for Starla in every step of the way and gave himself fully. And Starla I wanted to be her friend she really needed some normality.
I have to say Kristen’s writing got a whole more gripping with this one, it flowed, was easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves romance, and wants some light ish reading that captivates you until you finish then this one is definitely one for you.

Kristen Proby is an incredibly talented author, totally a top five for me, and y'all she's back better than ever with the twelfth standalone in the unforgettable With Me In Seattle series. I've been a huge, huge fan of this crew since we first met them... Nat, Luke and the all the Montgomerys + their spouses... and we've come a long way baby.
Now, well now we've got our idol Starla (remember her VERY FIRST introduction in Rock With Me?! good times then and now! oh yes she's finally going to get her very own, much deserved happy ending!) and the irresistibly sexy Officer Levi.
Dance With Me is finally here (YAY!!!!! it's been teasing us the last couple of books and I was so ready for this one!) and you better run not walk y'all to get this one.
This book was a beautiful, sexy, sweet, swoony, unforgettable contemporary romance that swept me off my feet with all the feels it gave me (wait til you meet these two!) and had my heart bursting at the seams with so much hope and so much love. Starla and Levi were brilliantly penned and expertly told with a journey to be told that'll have you hooked hard and hooked deep.
I'll admit I fell hard and fast for Starla and Levi... not even regretting even one single moment. They had it all in the best ways. Sizzling chemistry. Undeniable attraction. Great banter. A touch of suspense that'll have you hanging on to allllll the words. And one man determined to play for keeps this time. I definitely rooted for these two the whole way.
If you like a sweeter, softer, easier romance with less focus on the drama (though she totally will keep you on your toes in those suspenseful moments!) and more on the relationship then KP is a must read every. single. freaking. time.
This book was okay.... just okay. The characters got together too quick. I didn’t see the build up. It was lacking the angst that I was craving. The characters never really resonate with me.
Starla is a megastar who escapes to Seattle for a break. She is reunited with her one night stand, Levi Crawford, that left her completely shook. It was too much for her so she ghosted him and now he is standing at her front door. Levi could not forget the woman that rocked his world. She is now in town and he wants a second chance. He wants to do things right and this time he isn’t letting her go. He will do anything to protect her. Especially from crazy stalkers.
I honestly don’t have much to say about this book. It didn’t wow me. Maybe I’m feeling like this because this is the first book I have read in the With Me in Seattle series so I didn’t click as much with it as I was hoping. I was just expecting more.
KP doesn't disappoint in this latest edition of the With Me in Seattle series. It was sweet and sexy and chocked full of great friendships and family. Girl's night out was fantastic as usual. Two really good main characters. An easy very low angst pretty insta-love sexy read. Loved it! Happy reading

~ 5 Dancing Stars ~
What an AMAZING story!! I think this is my favorite so far. I loved Starla and Levi!!
Kristen Proby just continues to knock my socks off when it comes to her stories!! I am swept up in the storyline and with the characters lives.
Dance With Me was the perfect mix of swoony romance, sexy times and mystery. This book truly had it all. I laughed, got heated and even got teary eyed. This book had the perfect combination of humor and suspense. I loved that she had me guessing throughout the story. Even when I thought I knew what was going to happen….BAM, Kristen turned the table on me. I LOVED it!!!!
Dance With Me is the 12th book in Kristen Proby’s With Me In Seattle series. Each of the books can be read as a standalone, but I would recommend reading this series in order. You will want to meet all the characters in this series. Each person you meet plays such a big part in other storylines. This story is told in Dual POV. I thought the flow and pace of the story worked perfectly. And as I have said before….I LOVED Starla and Levi. They were perfectly matched. This is a couple you will want to meet.
In this story we follow the journey of Starla and Levi. Starla we have seen before in other books in the series. She is close friends with Meredith (who is married to Mark) and Jax (owns a dance studio with Meredith) So when Starla is feeling run down and dizzy, her doctor tells her she has to take a 3 month vacation. So Starla goes to Seattle to stay. Levi is on the Seattle PD. He is the oldest brother of Wyatt and Jace ( we met them in books 10 & 11) Starla and Levi met before at one of her concerts and the connection was instant and off the charts. But when she ghosts him Levi is slightly upset. Now with Starla staying in Seattle for some time, Levi is determined to confront her about their past. Can these two get over the past and find happiness? What happens when some one from Starla’s life causes trouble?? Can they find their HEA?? Read this wonderful story to find out.
Again I LOVED seeing all of the past characters from this series. These stories always make me feel like I am coming home. I also loved the little surprise Kristen added in this story ;) You need to read it to see what I am talking about.
If you are looking for that down home, sweet, and sexy read with a little bit of suspense to keep you guessing, this is the book to read!! I would HIGHLY recommend this series to ALL romance lovers.
Dance With Me is the newest installment of Kristen Proby’s With Me in Seattle series and OH MY GOODNESS is it a good one! The sexy scenes just jump off the page from the beginning and don’t stop till the end! Starla, she’s just Starla a super, mega, pop star who is still trying to overcome the loss of her fiance 5 years ago. When Starla is forced to take a vacation she decides to spend her time in Seattle with her “family” Jax and Meredith. Starla quickly finds herself back in the presence of Levi Crawford, a man she spent a super sexy night with several months earlier. Levi Crawford is the super sexy Seattle cop who falls head over heels from the moment he meets her. When he is ghosted by Starla he finds himself very emotionally drained. Levi’s heart truly knows Starla is the one for him. As they reconnect both Levi and Starla realize that they must face professional challenges in order to have their HEA. Will they do it? Gotta read it to find out. Most every couple from the the previous With Me and Big Sky books make an appearance in some form. So wonderful to see where they all are in their lives. Luke and Nat are there the most because Starla is living in Nat’s house and Starla is a superstar like Luke and can relate to the challenges before her. It’s not a With Me book without a famous GNO!! If you love big family saga series and super sexy ALPHA males who love and protect their women, then you will love Dance With Me by Krisen Proby. I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review. 5*****
Everyone needs a person to dance all their dances with!
4,5 stars.
I love this series since Come Away With Me, when I fell in love with Luke, Nat and this author. Ever since, I can't get enough of them and I always want more.
In this book, Starla (we've heard about her first in Rock With Me) and Levi Crawford (we met him in Stay With Me). Starla is a rock star and, for that, she is extremely famous, which can be both amazing for her career, but also dangerous for her life. Levi is a cop in Seatlle and has been for ages.
Since their first encounter, their chemistry is off the charts. But feeling such a great sadness and grief in the past, Starla is extra cautious.
When their paths cross again, though, they can't deny the intensity of their feelings and as the days go by, they start getting closer and closer. Specially when dreading threats against Starla start to become more frequent and more real.
As usual by this author, the hero was hot, sexy, protective, totally an alpha and a romantic at heart. The heroine was sassy, independent, hard worker, devoted to her career and longing for a man to sweep her off her feet (even if she doesn't know that).
Some of the dialogues were a little off and forced for me, and I wish they discussed more about their future, I wanted to know more about what they plan on doing, but I really liked this book.
It was sexy, funny, sweet and a great read to relax and enjoy!
And the bonus: We get to see almost the whole clan from With Me In Seattle series and even some from (Love Under The) Big Sky series. I loved seeing them again and that only made me miss them more!
I don't even know where to start with this review. I loved LOVED this book. Kristen does it again with her amazing story telling that has you on your toes and has you on the edge of the seat wondering what is going to happen next. Then you read it and you are like OMG I need more and you end up reading all night or day until you are done reading.
Starla and Levi are both amazing characters as Starla is a big time Singer and Levi is a Police officer. Starla has so many grammy's that she is a household name where levi is a workaholic and has no time for anyone but his job. When these two meet it is explosive and amazing all at the same time. Both are lonely but when they meet that goes out the window and love comes in.
This is a romance you must read because it is all kinds of swoony and all the feels of love.
Love this series and this book is a perfect addition. The Seattle Montgomery's and their circle of friends are a great bunch of characters that love deep, hard, and completely. Levi and Starla for right in!! Recommended read
Starla & Levi This was a little more detailed than we are used to. I don’t think I will ever forget the on scene that was described. It made sense why it was in there because of the nature of stackers and just how insane they can be.
Starla though knowing she gets a lot of odd mail I don’t think she realized just how necessary a good security team is. I love how Levi just loves, it’s with his whole heart and he doesn’t look back. Both feet kind of guy I like that. Great narration.
4.5 stars https://amzn.to/2E0nBM2 Dance with Me by Kristen Proby with was Proby genius and then some! Dance with Me is an extension of Proby's With Me in Seattle series; the series that launched her career. Starla, the Pop Superstar learned of in Breathe with Me as the Meredith was dancer on her tour and Levi Crawford is the brother of Wyatt Crawford from Stay with Me and Jace Crawford from Love with Me; having said all of that this book partially thanks to a smoking hot prologue can be read completely standalone. Now if you have read this series you are going to love this book even more as Proby transports the read back to Seattle and the world so many readers have come to love.Starla and Levi are both adults with demanding careers and the mutual respect they show for each other added for me to sexually chemistry which was off the charts. Starla's backstory will tug at your heart and really allows the reader to understand her. Levi, oh, Levi I challenge a romance reader to not fall in love with him. He is a fabulous balance of alpha, strong and protective while somehow still being respectful of all Starla has built. In what I have come to expect and love about a Proby book the reader get to witness the developing relationship, Starla and Levi spend time together; they get to know each other; they learn to operate in the other space. Oh and speaking of being together; the use of Levi's brothers and Starla's connection to Meredith was really well done. The encounters and dialogue added to the story.I will not tell you how these two find happy but I will say the happy was so perfect for them! I hope Kristen Proby continues to write in this world and it feels like returning home....
I often wish that an author would continue with a series I love, giving every single minor character their own story at some point, although it rarely happens. Luckily Kristen Proby is one of the few exceptions, as she brings readers another installment in her beloved With Me in Seattle Series, Dance with Me. After being introduced to Starla Mason and Levi Crawford in previous books, I just knew they’d be getting their own story. Sparks flew between them from the moment they met, and it was obvious they had unfinished business. I couldn’t wait to see what was in store for them.
After an unforgettable night together, Starla flees from her unexpectedly powerful attraction to Levi, resolving for their relationship not to expand beyond that one night. But when a forced vacation finds Starla temporarily relocating to Seattle, it’s not long before Levi shows up at her door, looking for an explanation. Tragically losing her fiancé four years prior has made Starla wary of taking a chance on love again, but Levi isn’t easily dissuaded. The bossy, overly protective Alpha male sets out to win her over, using every weapon in his arsenal to prove their connection is worth taking a chance on.
Sassy, fiercely independent, and dedicated to her career, Styla’s character is vibrant and larger than life. Levi’s strong, steady persona is her perfect complement, with a soft, affectionate side that’s unbelievably swoon-worthy. Their electric chemistry generates enough heat to steam up the pages of the narrative, but it’s their emotional connection that’s the heart of the story. Their whirlwind romance is fun and playful, but it’s also earnest, and mindful of who Levi and Starla are and whey they’re coming from.
As with each book in the With Me in Seattle Series, Dance With Me is an addictive page-turner. I devoured it in one sitting, needing to know what happened next as I finished each chapter. Dance With Me is a sexy, sweet romance with enough drama and suspense to keep you on your toes, ensuring you’ll be riveted to the narrative from start to finish.

I volunteered for this tour, having confused the title of this series with the one I have already read a few in, the Fusion series. But that's okay, because I really enjoyed this, and now need to go back and read others in the series. I liked Starla a lot. She was very realistic I felt, not too much of a diva, but perfect for what you'd expect a one-name music star to be like. Levi was a great guy as well. Very alpha male, but also very sweet and all about taking care of his friends and family. I read this book in basically one day, less than 24 hours. I was so lucky to have some extra time on the day I started it, because I was able to devour it every time I had a moment to sit and read.
I was definitely not sure who the stalker was, and I feel that may have been a little different than I'd expected it to end up to be, but that's good, made the story unpredictable! I also liked how Levi handled his criminal case that turned into a homicide case, and him learning just how he may not want to deal with that branch of policing.
As I mentioned before, I haven't actually read this series yet, but I loved all the side characters and friends and family we met in this one, that I'm sure I can go back and read their stories as well, and now I know for sure that I want to. If you haven't tried this series by Proby yet, you should pick it up soon.
This time we're thrown in at the deep end with Starla- a multi millionaire pop princess and police officer Levi
The book really starts with a bang- covering what we knew had happened in a previous story between these two before Starla left on another leg of her tour.
But Starla is exhausted and where better to rest than Seattle with all the characters of the previous books.
And once Levi finds out she's back- he wont let her go this time.
I say this time and time again- but KP has the most adorable stories, featuring the most beautiful and richest of people.....it's so far from real life it's untrue- but gosh I love these books! They're my escapism.
The usual KP method is applied- they fall fast and deep with each other.
Starla is broken from her past- her ex fiancee whom passed away still holds a lot of hold over her- and she needs to work hard to shake off his ghost.
I really enjoyed these two- they were hot, they were really fun to read and i found myself almost devouring this book in a single sitting!
Stella has focused all her attention and energies on her career to the exclusion of everything else, so she now finds herself back in Seattle under doctor’s orders to rest and recuperate. She is looking forward to spending some time with Meredith and Jax, but she wasn’t expecting to reconnect with Levi, the one night stand she hasn’t been able to forget.
Levi’s career as a police officer isn’t just a job it is a calling as he has an innate need to protect those who can’t protect themselves. He wants more from Stella than the one night stand they shared and is determined to convince her that they belong together.
Sweet, sexy and suspense all combine for an intriguing storyline. The way that Levi wants to protect Stella is enough to make you swoon and after all Stella has been through you are cheering for her to have the happy ever after she deserves. This story is a great addition to the series, and it was great to catch up with the other characters as well.
A sweet book. What I like about Kristen Proby's writing is the lightness she brings in her stories, and here we have it again a very well written book between two different people trying to make the relationship work and all this with a suspense to the background that brought the element of surprise and some mystery to the book.
Levi and Starla are characters that I easily hooked up and I hoped that this detective and this singer would find a way to make the relationship work and chemistry between them was not lacking. And it was good to see other characters in this series.Dance with me is one of those refreshing readings that leave me with a smile on my face after finishing.
Book 12 and I feel like it could never be long enough! Starla and Levi started back in Love With Me and have waited to find out what the heck happened. Love the suspense and protective man who is willing to communicate and not just jump back in the sack after the one-night stand. It's amazing how even when you think you "know" someone, there is a whole life and past that can reveal so much about who they really are.
There has yet to be a Kristen Proby book that I haven’t loved, and this is no exception. Starla and Levi are a fantastic couple with chemistry that jumps from the pages. I loved how we got glimpses of some of our fave With Me in Seattle characters and they were interwoven into the storyline. Another 5 star book from KP.
Wow, so great to read Starla’s book, one of the biggest pop stars in the Seattle world, she was first mentioned back in Meredith & Mark’s book, Breath With Me & she had a history with Leo Nash.
But now she tells her story, I was surprised by her background, was not expecting that, very interesting. In this story she finally finds her protector, her saviour, her everything in the hot cop Levi Crawford, eldest of the Crawford brothers and he is just broody with a heart of gold and gorgeous! Absolutely loved these two.
