What do you keep in your jock? Dreams?

Cody is being try to do what is wanted without complaint as Conner disappears onto misty memory. Jake has not been seen, but is training, too. What can be done to escape? How can he find Jake? This is not the life he dreamed of back at school. Is there any life left?

This was book 2 in the "Jocks for Sale" Connor thinks he can fight his way out. He is wearing a shock collar and every time he refuses to do something he gets a shock. His trainer Nick is another kidnapped boy who was a model who was sold by his agent because he refused to have sex with him. This was a good story that I wished was in one book instead of 11 books at $2.99 each or at the very least a bundle. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

This story started off where the first one left off. I liked seeing Connor try to figure out his situation and plan for his escape. It was interesting seeing how this human trafficking ring operated on the inside. I think the author was smart to include Jake, as Connor had someone to fight for and save other than himself. I liked seeing Connor resist the training and refuse to submit to becoming “Cody”. Nick was an interesting character and I was immediately curious about his backstory and liked how we learned more about him by the end of this entry. Connor/Cody’s sex scenes with Nick were hot and it made me wonder how Nick’s character will play a part in future entries in the series and in the story overall. The moment where Connor is flipping through hundreds of photos of guys who were kidnapped and sold was genuinely unnerving and scary. This part of the story was so detailed and authentically written that it genuinely made me feel guilty for reading this as erotica as human trafficking is very real and things like this genuinely happen around the world to this day. That being said, I was able to appreciate the sex scenes while genuinely reading this story to see how Connor and Jake would eventually survive and to see if they would escape one day. I’m glad that the author chose to write this plot authentically so the story is as engaging and interesting as the sex scenes.

3,5 ⭐️ this instalment makes it clear that this series aims at a more realistic approach to the characters' reactions, thoughts and feelings, not only erotica. i enjoy a lot how the scenes were written; you're not allowed to get out of the protagonist's rage, pain, fear and will to fight, even with the arousal also very much present.

although the situation is dire, the angst isn't heavy imo - but i read a lot of drama and tragedy, so i might be miscalculating. this isn't a criticism btw! i enjoy how connor is enraged and planning rather than depressed or numb.

connor is still determined to scape and not submit, and nick was a great addition to the story!!! but i missed jake :| there were also some uncreative repetitions of phrases, and the ipad plot point was very stupid (unless it is explained later), but those were minor problems. i will definitely read the next part!

So far this seems like a milder version of the Flesh Cartel series Capture by Rachel Haimowitz - men kidnapped, brutally trained to be sex slaves and then sold to the highest bidder. I can't wait to see how it unfolds.

He doesn’t even have his own name anymore

Connor and his fraternity brother are still at the rich owners house, being trained for an auction, where they will be sold to the highest bidder. He loses a little more hope each day of the training.

I have been looking for this type of story for a long long time and thank you to Josh Hunter for feeding some of my deepest fantasies with this excellent series. I am looking forward to finishing all of this series and can't wait to explore more of this author's works.

The story continues in this installment that might actually be better than the 1st. This story definitely needs trigger warnings for consent issues, but it's hot as hell. Can't wait for the next one.
