Married in Vegas

Rate this book
We were celebrating for a few days in preparation for my brother’s wedding at a gorgeous hotel in Vegas. He was my best friend and I would never consider not standing beside him when he married his sweet girlfriend of three years.

Running into Liz and Karen in the club was a bit of a surprise though it gave me a chance to get to know them.
I always had my eyes on her for the last few years,
but she always seemed so shy.
This time she was looking at me with hunger in her eyes.

Tonight, she wasn’t shy.
She was buzzed and laughing, hot as hell.
I can’t say no to her.
One kiss turned into several and before the night ended, we were saying vows in front of Elvis.
It would be as easy thing to end but I didn’t know if I wanted that.
She fascinated me and I needed to know more of Liz.
Could things go any more out of order?
Would we find a way to make it work?

Would she see this as a mistake that she just wanted to brush away?

A great way to start off my day... A beautifully designed romance by Ms. Claire Angel. Married in Vegas is a terrific romance centered between Liz and Calder. Both of these college students have had a crush on one another for quite some time and when they follow their friends to Vegas their newfound friendship takes an interesting turn. I strongly encourage every romance reader that this quick and steamy read is well worth your time and will most definitely impress you. I truly enjoy the writing style of Claire and am certain that you will too.

I voluntarily requested an advanced reader's copy of Married in Vegas in exchange for my honest opinion and I highly recommend reading this book, as well as anything written by Ms. Angel.

This was a very enjoyable short story. Liz and Calder are both college students. They run into each other in Vegas. Of course after a night of drinking they end married. They both have liked each other for a long time so they both decide to try and make it work.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Calder and Liz. Calder and Liz are college students and met in Las Vegas where Calder is there to attend his brother's wedding and Liz is with her friend Karen partying after Karen broke up with a boyfriend. Calder and Liz hit it off and when all of them go out drinking, their friends talk Calder and Liz into getting married. When Liz wakes up the next morning, she doesn't remember getting married or the wedding night. They stay together for the rest of the vacation and they have to decide if they are going to stay married or get an annulment. I liked this story. I liked Calder and Liz together. I like how Liz had a crush on him before they met up in Vegas and how Calder said he always wanted to get to know Liz. I think they were good together and their friend knew they would be happy. I think they made the right decision about their marriage. Good one.

ONE INCREDIBLE READ!!!
Wow! Talk about exciting. This is such a thrilling rollercoaster ride with a plethora of emotions to sort through as you follow along to see what happens next. You're not going to believe how this little treasure plays out. I have to say this is one interesting tale. It's one fast paced, action packed, page turning delight that grabs your attention and holds steady from start to finish. The twists and turns, ups and downs, along with a few glitches, bumps and bruises bring this bad boy roaring to life brilliantly. Throw in all the drama and suspense along with uncertainty and you have yourself one amazing storyline and perfect plot. The characters are intriguing, complex and realistic. Their personalities and individual qualities that carry them forward and progressed them through the roles created for each one. Well developed, balanced and perfectly relatable. The scenes so vividly detailed. They flowed smoothly and each scene described to perfection that made for a remarkable bockdrop. Varying contrasts added a little spice to the mix for full flavored appeal. Claire definitely knows her stuff. Not a dull moment. Remarkable job Claire, thanks for sharing this little gem with us.

There will be spoilers in this review.

This is titled "Married in Vegas: A Bad Boy Romance." There was nothing in this book to indicate that Calder was "a bad boy."

The writing left a lot to be desired. There was zero character development. I understand that this is a short story, but there was nothing that told us anything about who Liz and Calder were... besides barely casual acquaintances on a college campus. The writing jumps and skips around over about a year of them dating after a quickie wedding in Vegas, trying to see if they want to stay together or write it off as a foolish mistake...but we see very little of them actually spending time, getting to know one another, discovering good and bad things about each other. It's just Happy Swell Acres over the course of the year.

The typos, missing punctuation, and misspelled words--on top of the weak story--all add up to "no bueno" for me.

It’s so boring… we’re told most of it, the timeline for this is insanely fast (they saw each other on campus before, but never talked, so it doesn’t count), and there was no chemistry between MCs. The minimal plot is full of contradictions, the biggest one being that we see in his POV she wasn’t drunk, just “buzzed” (her own words, I find it hard to believe someone can be drunk out of their ass and able to string a coherent sentence, let alone accurately respond to questions), yet in her POV she remembers nothing of that night because she was so drunk. So, which is it? because they can’t both be true. They have super boring conversations about the other characters. They’re supposed to “get to know each other”, but talk about other people and not themselves? Why would they do that? And the conversations were so stiff, no real person talks like that. Also, nobody is ever described physically.

I love Claire Angel’s novels, so it’s no surprise that I was delighted to get my hands on Married in Vegas: A Bad Boy Romance. This book is, quite simply, a totally fun, Hot and sexy romance from its “oops we got a bit too drunk last night and got married” premise to its rollercoaster run to a HEA. It’s also really well written and had just what I wanted including a great plot. I frankly adore Liz and Calder and love watching them deal with, well, everything. The rest of the cast of characters is pretty amazing as well. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises - the book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, it is easy to highly recommend.

Liz and her friend Karen go to Las Vegas so that she can blow off some steam after a breakup they meet up with Calder and his roommate Kane who are there for his brothers wedding. Liz has always had a crush on Calder but whenever he saw her and tried to talk to her she always became so shy, so he didn't push her but dated lot of other women which of course she took note of how many. They all drank and had fun and she loosened up so she was a lot more open and talkative. Actually she was all over Calder and he enjoyed it and wanted more. The next morning they were married. This is a cute story about finding love a bit backwards but was open and honest. I was given an Advance Readers Copy from the author without obligation. I am providing an honest review.

Calder is in Vegas for his brother's wedding and Liz is also there with a few friends. They run into each at a club and start partying together. Its not long before the party starts moving and somehow they are all at a chapel with an Elvis impersonator. Calder and Liz get married but the next morning everything is fuzzy for Liz. Calder convincing her to give him a chance before they go and end their Vegas marriage. Can they have a future together?

This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend it to any book lover.

Realized love

Calder and Liz are college students. They meet in Las Vegas where Calder's brother is getting married. Calder and Liz have sparks flying from their first glances.

Liz has had a crush on him since they both attend the same University. Calder let's her know he's wanted to get to know her.

After a night of partying they end up married. The next morning Liz wakes up in bed the next Calder. She doesn't remember getting married or their wedding night.

I liked the story. Calder and Liz are great together. I did have issues with her not remembering anything regarding their wedding and wedding night.

Unexpected Marriage!

Liz and Karen went to Vegas to party. Karen is trying to get over a breakup. They drink and party and who do they run into but Calder he is Liz’s crush. Calder is in Vegas for his brother’s wedding. He sees Liz differently. They all hang out and party. All the partying and drinking they walking along the strip when they are dared to get married. The next morning Liz awakens with a ring on her finger and no memory of how it got there. After some of the fog lifted and she sees her crush laying next to her with a ring on his ring finger. This book is not what I expected. Calder turns out to be a changed man. Nice story line.

This novella is about two college students who attend the same university are both in Las Vegas for the weekend. Calder is there to attend his brother's wedding and Liz is there with her best friend. During their first night out, their mutual attraction draws them to one another and after a dare is put out there and both being a bit inebriated, Liz and Calder have a typical Las Vegas wedding with an Elvis celebrant.
The decision they now face is whether to stay together or not after their hasty marriage. There was reasonable character development though the book is very short.
It was a nice quick read with spice and a HEA. I rate this book 3.75*.

A wonderfully entertaining well written sweet romance that is a quick read. The characters have sizzling chemistry, are realistic,  complex and intriguing with an amazing group of secondaries making for a fun addictive read page after page. This fast paced thrilling emotional rollercoaster ride was of full twists and turns, glitches, ups and downs, with added drama and suspense that kept of the edge of my seat to an amazing HEA. Inreall enjoyed this hot, fun, and sexy romance. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC.

This is my first time reading this author and I am a fan now. I absolutely love this book. It is a short story but one that keeps you hooked. Calder has always had a crush on Liz, but has a bit of a reputation of being a ladies man but when his brother gets married and he sees Liz in Vegas they all get together and party it up but what happens in vegas doesn't usually stay there. Liz has always had a secret crush on Calder but can it be more than a crush? This was such a great story and absolutely going to be reading more book from this author now.

This is a cute story about a young woman dream crush coming true. Liz goes to Vegas with her friends and runs into her dream crush, Calder. Liz looses her shyness and inhibitions with Calder, she never expected to wake up married to him, though. Calder has always been attracted to Liz since he met her in College but they didnt hang around the same crowds. Now that Calder runs into Liz at his brothers get away wedding in Vegas, he can't let her go. Their story is really super cute and fun to read. The ending felt a bit rushed.

Simple, short and pleasant
Very short story, romantic that starts on a hangover. Quite classic, but very well written and pleasant to read in less than an hour. I enjoyed the end less, perhaps a little too fast, too descriptive and less in the action.

Two people who have noticed each other but never talked meet each other in Vegas. After a few drinks, they get married. Do they stay married or annul the wedding? I would recommend that anyone over 18 read the book and discover the answer. I received this ARC in exchange for a voluntary honest review which this is.

Liz had a crush on Calder for years, so when they ran into each other in Vegas when she was a little buzzed she was more open with him. Calder had liked Liz but she always seamed shy and closed off but when they meet in Vegas she was open to his advances. Fun romantic short read that will have you smiling.

A very short and well written romance with nice storyline and plot. It is simple but entertaining. A short read with well defined characters and they are likeable. Written in dual POV which made it much better.
Some spelling mistakes and some lack in editing. But it is a sweet and recommendable story.

I wanted to love this book, but I can’t. It could have been a sweet story but it felt like it was rushing to just be done with. Perhaps a bit more agony that he doesn’t have her phone number, memories re-occurring of the wedding, more than a mention of her father’s funeral, that kind of thing. Even the fact they stayed together was boiled down to a few words.

Novel Story

I enjoyed this book. It was refreshing to read a story about good hard working people. There's attraction at first sight. Their attraction developed into love. The author has made their story come to life and invited us along. Of course there's romance and great love scenes. Highly recommend.

This was way too rushed. And why so much focus on the supporting characters relationship, when there was barely any development in the main characters relationship! And why did the dad have to die? It did not in any way benefit the story. In other words there were way too many characters for such a short book.

Cute, very speedy read. They married then dated, but what the heck, it ends in a HEA!
There were a few spots that I didn't think were needed, but the story is so short that I guess it was just filler to extend in a few pages.
