Finally, it's Sloth who comes up with a solution
Find out how Sloth saves Easter with this adorable story for kids!Perfect for bedtime reading or for beginning readers. Children 2-8 will love the story and the pictures!
Virginia author Catherine Adams has now published five fine books for children and this new book is just in time for Easter. The excellent illustrations are provided by Jo Kavanagh Designs.
Catherine selects different animals for her stories and this time ‘round we meet a sloth – as well as a bunny. Easter Bunny is busy, so busy that an accident occurs and results in an injured paw – just when the peak season of Ester is here. Advertising for Help Wanted (decorating eggs, hiding eggs, filling baskets, delivering baskets). Fox answers the call, but is too slow. Squirrel responds but hides eggs where no one can find them! Kangaroo volunteers but in delivering the baskets the eggs are all eaten by Baby Kangaroo in the pouch. Monkey comes to the problem but also fails to deliver. Finally Sloth enters the scene (having watched the problem from a tree) and despite the criticism form the other animals about being slow, Sloth make sit happen by organizing all the animals to make Easter work because of teamwork!
A fun story children will enjoy and learn about the importance of teamwork – in a happy way. Fine little book, this.
