About the author

Growing up in 90’s Brooklyn, NY, Treasure Malian’s passion for writing began at a young age. Inspired by her environment, she was able to capture the beauty and pain of growing up in that era, through her lens. A passion that while initially was only a spark, ignited into a full-blown flame after her tenure at Lincoln University and St. Francis College, where she studied undergrad, with the intent on becoming a lawyer.

The inability to escape the gnawing desire to write led her to write and publish her first #1 Bestselling Series “Power Trip” Over twenty novels later, Treasure is still capturing the experiences and emotions that come with the complexities of black love in her stories. Now equipped with a master’s degree, she continues to pursue elevation in her career and beyond.

" Power Trip 2" picks up right where part one left off. With Cam fighting for his life, Skye steps up to the plate to take over his rising empire. In doing so, his beefs soon become her beefs and she finds herself in a whirl wind of danger and suspense. Not knowing who to trust, she seeks help in the least likely place.

I have been patiently waiting on "Power Trip 2" ever since reading part one. I must say I was not disappointed. The characters were well developed and the story line flowed perfectly. It wasn't rushed at all.There were quite a few errors but they did not take away from the story being told.Looking forward to reading part 3. 5 stars

Secrets

Absolutely a good read, bomb after bomb was dropped in this book. The author gets another chef kiss she did her thing. Yessss! finally someone got arrested and didn’t say a word but lawyer. I don’t know how Skye was supposed to recover with all those bombs they kept dropping on her. Pop-pop and Adriana did not play when it came to taking care of business. At first I thought Pop-pop went to far but clearly he didn’t. So much was covered I’m glad Ty finally got the truth about his mother. Skye & Ty were ride or die for real. Great thing they all went bk to school and got the love they wanted. The author made it clear when you’re in the streets you will lose love ones. Sad the ride is over looking forward to reading more from this author.

Fantastic Book!!!!

This is one of the best stories that I have read in a while. The storyline was good.Ty and Victoria added so much to the story!!Also the loyalty I saw in those two to Cameron and Skye was remarkable!!!! All other characters made this story great!!! Keep it up continue to good stories worth reading and enjoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crazy ending

I'm glad to know Cameron didn't die but I hate how has relationship with Skye took a turn for the worse. There was a lot of misspelled words but it really didn't take away from the story. I can't wait to read part 3 to see what happens to baby Cairo

Damn can't wait for part three
Damn Skye wasn't taking no prisoners in this installment. She brought out the beast and I freaking love it, now that's how you hold your man down. Jealous much Ariana smh I love that baby name. Man everybody have a motive and want the top spot. Ariana act really dumb and jealous as hell in this book. And Cameron kind of piss me off after everything she did and went through he didn't have to act like that toward her. See now Ty done mess up, both Cameron and Skye gonna want his head too, juicy can't wait for part three I'm not sure Cameron and Skye relationship going to survive after this blow out.

Too many errors.......

The story line was off the chain! I read the first book, and it was on point! So I went ahead and got 2 & 3. Book 2 had so many grammar errors, that I almost stopped reading it. I DID enjoy the book, so I just read it, and fixed the issues mentally. If you ever need someone to proofread your books, hoola at your girl! I would LOVE that type of job! Well, on to part 3!
