No genre is safe from me!
(OK, maybe Romance is safe)

One thing that bugs me is the accusation that I am too subtle. Too subtle? Is this even possible? I like to give my readers some credit: I always assume they are clever, educated, and have a good sense of humor...

I've has been writing fiction for over 20 years and recently published eight new titles, as well as a short story collection. Every book I write is exhaustively researched, I'm proud to say.

I have been a reporter and editor for many newspapers, and worked for The New York Times for well over ten years. Winner of the BBC Short Story Award.

Better than death 'by leaky lighter'.

I enjoyed this short read. It's quite thought provoking as the characters explore the rational and the supernatural. Some great moments of dread and some unusual Cattle deaths.

I recommend this book. The style of writing is varied: it reads like reportage then settles into a fast paced chatty read. Well researched too.

Curiosity killed the cat.

Jo is obsessed with investigating a curious phenomenon mentioned in a journal a hundred years ago. One day, she calls her friend Tom and takes him to a special place to prove her theory. However, what they’ll find there is beyond anything they could predict.
SHC is a great short story. The author could easily turn this tale into a novel. It’s very well written, and I definitely will read more books by MK Alexander.
