This first in series bundle contains the first book in each of David DeLee’s thrilling, edge-of-your-seat series featuring bounty hunter Grace deHaviland, ex-DEA agent Nick Lafferty, and NYPD detectives Frank Flynn & Christine Levy. Join them as they deal with the worst society has to offer. As they track down criminals, solve vicious murders, and bring the offenders to justice without losing themselves to the darkness in the process. FATAL DESTINY Stolen Mob Money! Ruthless Hit Men! A Past That Won't Stay Dead and Buried! For bounty hunter Grace deHaviland, the job seemed simple. Track down Barry Keegan, a white-collar defendant in a corporate embezzlement scandal who jumped bail. A bean counter. How hard could that be? But the case turns deadly when Keegan's co-defendant ends up murdered, and Grace's best friend, sheriff's deputy Suzie Jensen, is nearly killed. Drawn into a web of deception involving stolen mob money, old scores, and ruthless hit men, Grace must track down the elusive Keegan--a man who is more dangerous than anyone could have guessed--while she tries to protect his wife and son from a past they thought long dead and buried. CRYSTAL WHITE WITH NOTHING LEFT TO LIVE FOR, WILL EVEN DEATH SATISFY HIS NEED FOR REVENGE? AND IF SO, WHOSE? In California, DEA agent Nick Lafferty led the investigation to eradicate a new and deadly form of synthetic crack cocaine called Crystal White. An investigation that took from him everything he cherished, and left Lafferty a broken man. A man with nothing to live for. Now, the street poison Crystal White again floods the streets, this time in the northern suburbs of New York City. Aided by his ex-partner, Delmar Harley, an alcoholic cop on the edge and dogged by a beautiful assistant district attorney who believes the DEA agent's gone rogue, Nick Lafferty relentlessly embarks on a dark and vengeful journey of revenge, mounting a full-on assault against the Crystal White drug cartel. Nick Lafferty will stop at nothing to make them pay...with their lives--or his. MORAL MISCONDUCT You Can Choose Your Friends. You Can't Always Choose Your Partner. NYPD homicide detective Frank Flynn catches the worst case there is; a murdered police officer. Forced to team up with Internal Affairs investigator Christine Levy, they must get past their differences and learn to work together, and more importantly, trust each other, if they're to solve a cop's brutal murder, put a stop to an illegal child adoption ring, and expose a forfeiture asset scheme involving a group of corrupt NYPD cops willing to kill to keep their secrets.

Good

1- She is loaded but works as a bounty hunter. Her sometimes bf, a police detective, wears $1000 suits. The bail jumper, also wealthy, works as an accountant.....
2 & 3- More believable.
All of the books are entertaining, the writing style is good, the characters, for the most part, are dimensional. The bf in book 1 needs work. Very descriptive but not annoying or repetitive. 1st and 2nd read like movies and 3rd is like a t.v. series. I liked 3 best. I will read more from this author.

There are multiple good reasons to read these stories. They feature well-crafted characters and plot lines. The stories are fast paced and thrilling. They are worthy of four or five stars. But I could only give them three stars because they contain editing errors so annoying they border on obnoxious.

Bounty not real, Lafferty very good, Lynn good.

Bounty girl lost me the first several pages when the author had the girl whip a 6’1, 220 lbs, prison guy. Just doesn’t happen. The book on Lafferty gets better as it goes on. The Lynn book was a lot like Lafferty with a different story line. The author writes in a smooth flow of words that go together and make for a good read.
