- From the book's blurb. A pretty massive claim for any thriller. Skeptically, I delved into the book.
This was my first book in this author's acclaimed 'Commander Karan Saxena Series', but the title stated it as book one, so this felt like a good place to begin. It started with Commander's bio, which all but established him as the GOD of spies-the one espionage agent to rule them all!

Commander and his agents are on a mission to rescue their army chief from their enemy's uber-secure military fortress. And of course, unbeknownst to his team, Commander has a secret mission as well. With all his guns, bombs and other explosive ammunition, the commander (aka the Disaster from the book's name?) literally brings disaster to the fortress' doorstep, destroying their stronghold and rescuing the army chief with his other secret agents - thus (re) establishing his identity as the unflappable, indomitable, swashbuckling super spy.
There were multiple twists in the form of double crossing agents (or agents claiming to be double crossing), agents impersonating personalities via plastic surgery (Wha--I always thought only kids believed plastic surgery could make you into another's carbon copy!) and death scares. It was definitely a convoluted plot-would have taken some decent amount of gray matter on the author's part.
Somewhere in his acknowledgements, while sharing about how readers can judge a writer's work, the author wrote, "...you, the reader must ask yourself-Did this novel excite you? Thrill you? Fascinate you?...". Without borrowing any of the author's verbs, I am (pleasantly) surprised to say that I enjoyed it. It reminded me of my childhood and the crazy, improbable plans we conjured up while watching spy TV shows. I wouldn't say it was an off-the-charts thriller, but it did not shy away from the claim it started with.

This is my 8th book of the commander Karan saxena series and i absolutely plan to stick with this series .I am still dipping my toes into the literally fiction pool ,finding out what works for me and what doesn't.Honestly speaking I feel that this book is one of the best books by the author that I have read so far.The commander with his well known characteristics is bound to take you on an adventure along with him.Truly it's a milestone when we are talking about world of Hindi novels.I absolutely enjoyed the female characters in this book for their boldness .
This amazing story left me restless for the rest of the night.The best aspect about the book is setting of the plot which is completely thrilling and suspensive.Readers will be excited to know what's going to happen next.The writing style is crispy and makes the story a sort of movie
adventurous and thrilling.The book is event filled and unputdownable as page by page the curiousity to know increases.The author has expertly narrated the story building up suspense.The plot is intriguing and unique.

Commander Karan Saxena is on a secret mission. He has 6 of his trusted RAW agents accompanying him on a mission as they step over to the enemy land.
The chief of the army is missing and it is speculated that he is a captive of the Pakistan's ISI. Other than the commander Karan Saxena, no one in the team truly knows the missions real purpose. There is a mole in the team.
Will the commander be able to catch the culprit and save the chief of Army ?
A gripping tale which takes place in the Pakistans airbase. The female protagonists of the book are bold, voracious and up for a challenge. But when will Karan Saxena fall in love ?
This is a action thriller with elements of patriotism and bravery. Espionage is shown well but could have elaborated a bit more. The author keeps getting better. Commander Karan Saxena fits the bill perfectly to be the desi james bond. Overall, a good read.

If you are a lover of thriller , adventure and suspense then this book will do complete justice to your requirement . This is my third book of the karan saxena series but i find the same interest in knowing out his new adventure this time. The fire of patriotism that this character has is just so much impact making. The author has so beautiful brought forward how karan saxena the secret agent is again given the responsibility to prove his abilities to save another important staff of india . And how hw fights against the Pakistani military to reach his goal . To know the whole amazing story definitely read it . I highly recommend this book.

आप थ्रिलर, एडवेंचर और सस्पेंस के प्रेमी हैं तो आपको यह किताब जरूर पढ़नी चाहिए।
इस किरदार में देशभक्ति की जो आग है, वह बस इतना ही प्रभाव डाल रही है। लेखक ने बहुत सुंदर ढंग से सामने लाया है कि कैसे गुप्त एजेंट करण सक्सेना को फिर से साबित करने की जिम्मेदारी दी जाती है और कैसे अपने लक्ष्य तक पहुंचने के लिए पाकिस्तानी सेना से लड़ता है। पूरी अद्भुत कहानी जानने के लिए इसे जरूर पढ़ें। मैं इसकी अत्यधिक अनुशंसा करती हूं।
इस किताब को पढ़ कर बहुत अच्छा लगा । इसे एक बार स्टार्ट किया तो यह कहानी आप पूरा पढ़ कर ही मानेंगे ।
