"We received our book and it is absolutely amazing! The book is outstanding! We have 5 Shihs in our family and it’s spot on. I love how the book contains pictures of people’s pets vs some extreme 'show type' Shih-Tzus. Molly has a lot of helpful info in the book and was really honest about things (like the wiping of the bums after going potty). Thank you guys so much!" - Erin Abay, Shih Tzu owner "I just received the book, I love it and my sister and her sister-in-law are going to buy copies! I think the book is very well written and has lots of really helpful hints. I have had 5 Shih Tzus. This will be really helpful for folks who are just starting out with the breed but is great for experienced owners, too!" - Marsha Parham, Shih Tzu owner Do you think you’ve got what it takes to care for a Shih Tzu? A very basic book

An incredibly basic book, very general without much specific Shih Tzu information.
Anything i was looking, for it basically said go and ask an expert. Well i wanted to read that information in the book. It was supposed to be an informative book on the breed but i feel it was a waste of money. I don’t recommend it. You are better to use google.

Overall Comprehensive, but Lacked Any Aspects of Training Shih Tzus

This book seemed very comprehensive, and appeared to include most everything one would need to know about raising a Shih Tzu. However, it would have been nice to cover/include some areas or aspects of training a Shih Tzu, such as obedience & house breaking.

Good beginners guide

Informative, very encouraging that they included good and bad points about a Shih Tzu. Also to make you aware that some vaccines are better to have than others. I would really seek your vets advice there. Lots of foods to avoid but also to give be aware of your own dogs needs . Like humans one food agrees another doesn’t. Really a book to start with but living with your dog needs to be tailored to your dog.
