Temperance Levine had her entire world ripped away from her at eighteen. What had once been a life full of light and happiness was torn to shreds in the blink of an eye. With nothing left but a broken heart and painful memories, she ran away from the only home she’d ever had and tried to start over somewhere else. But the grass isn’t always greener on the other side, and sometimes all you can do to heal old wounds comes back home again.
The day Temperance left him was the worst day of Hayes Walker’s life, and he’d spent every one since then merely existing. The future he’d imagined had gone up in smoke, and all he could do was take life one step at a time. But when tragedy brings Tempie back to Hope Valley, he knows this is the only shot he’ll have at getting his happiness back, and there’s no way he’ll let this chance go to waste.
After years apart, Tempie and Hayes are finally starting over and looking toward the future. But when their sleepy little town is rocked to its core, Hayes will be forced into a battle he never saw coming. Now he’s not only fighting for the future he always dreamed of, but also trying to protect the only woman he’s ever loved.
Born and raised around Houston, Jessica is a self proclaimed caffeine addict, connoisseur of inexpensive wine, and the worst driver in the state of Texas. In addition to being all of these things, she’s first and foremost a wife and mom. Growing up, she shared her mom and grandmother’s love of reading. But where they leaned toward murder mysteries, Jessica was obsessed with all things romance. When she’s not nose deep in her next manuscript, you can usually find her with her kindle in hand.

Both hero and heroine are pathetic. She compared men with hero, hero became a whore a week after she broke up with him. That only means he really wanted to have sex with anyone and he couldn’t wait for more than a week. There’s OW drama throwing in the heroine’s face how she had hero’s dick. The same woman who caused drama in the 1st book because she too had slept with that hero from book 1.
“Didn’t feel like I was makin’ it into more than it was every time your climbed into my bed,” she returned smugly. I was going to be sick. My knees started to go weak and my vision grew cloudy as my stomach clenched violently. “You know what? That’s it.” Hayes took a threatening step closer to her. “I’m sick and tired of your shit. Let’s get somethin’ straight. The first time I fucked you, I did it because I was wasted off my ass and you reminded me of Tempie.” Holy shit. “And when I wasn’t drunk, takin’ you from behind provided me with the same reminder. You were good enough that I didn’t mind goin’ back from time to time, but that wasn’t a relationship. For fuck’s sake, I never took you out for a single meal. I wouldn’t even buy you a goddamn coffee. When I wanted to fuck you, we did it at your place because I didn’t want you in mine. And since you’re obviously too much of a spoiled brat to see the truth, it’s worth repeating that I only fucked you because you reminded me of Tempie.”
“You know exactly what it means,” I spat, drilling my finger into his chest. “She was always hitting on you. Always. She knew we were together, but did that ever stop her? Nooo!” I dragged out sarcastically, lost in my rant. “So you can imagine how fun it was to find out that I left town and you started fucking the one girl I’ve always hated.”
“you lost any and all right to my dick when you tore us apart, so you don’t get to be pissed that I didn’t remain celibate for twenty-one fuckin’ years. I didn’t want that goddamn breakup, you did. I fought as hard as I could to get you back.” “Oh please!” I scoffed, my vision growing cloudy with red. “Yeah, you fought so hard, Hayes. Is that why I walked into Parker Wyatt’s party a week after we broke up and found you banging Krista Duke in his parents’ bed?”
“You really slept with them because they looked like me?” “Krista was a sweet girl, but she never even registered to me until I hit that party and started doing tequila shots like they were water. I saw her hair and eyes and was drunk enough to see her as a replacement. And Harley… well, you already know how she is.”
“I wasn’t a choir boy while you were gone, Tempie. I didn’t take a vow of abstinence while I waited for you to come back to me. But as twisted as that sounds, every single one of those women was a placeholder for you. Even if that wasn’t my intention when we started up.”
“I forgive you, Hayes. I forgive you, and I want you too. I want us to have a second chance.”
Technically she broke up with him a week before finding him having sex with the other girl but they have been together for 4 years and they were both in love with each other so hero only waited a week to have sex with OW I consider this cheating. So.. yes, technically is not cheating but for me it is.
4 1/2 stars. Hayes and Tempie's story was beautiful. A second chance romance 20 years in the making!!! Tempie fled Hope Valley after a VERY traumatic situation and hasn't been back because it is too painful. She made a selfless decision so that Hayes could follow his dream and hasn't really felt whole since she left. Hayes has also tried to move on but Tempie is his other half. So many feels. Once they started to really communicate, the love blossomed. A bit of mystery carried over from the previous book with added intrigue and an O M G moment that I didn't see coming! I loved this book but I did have one problem. I enjoyed the fact that the H and H are a bit older, around 40. But as someone in their 40's, I felt like this read a bit young. I was startled every time the age/time frame was brought up because the characters felt so much younger. Really a minor hitch in a fantastic book.
Book 2 gives us a second chance small-town romance between Detective Hayes and Nurse Temperance (Tempie) Levine. Young sweethearts, they envisioned a future together, one they never thought wouldn’t come to fruition, but life happens – events and decisions tear them apart, and distances keeps them out of each other’s lives, but even after 2 decades their feelings for one another haven’t withered away. When Tempie returns to her hometown to be with her dying aunt, and then to deal with things after her death, the hope for many is what was once the town’s golden couple will somehow find their way back to one another and get the HEA they should have always had.
I wasn’t entirely sure about this when I first started, but then I began to find myself engaged and interested in what was occurring, my attention did wane a few times, but overall, I did like this read. It was light despite some of the events that occurred.
A stalker from the hospital Temperance worked seems to have found her in her hometown, despite the fact she didn’t leave her auntie’s address with anyone in Chicago, and there appears to a murderer hiding in plain sight, one who has the town and cops nervous, and Hayes fearing for the woman he has always loved.
There were some lovely moments in this, the banter between Tempie and Hayes after , had me smiling for a while.
The dual POV the author gives adds a nice tone to the story and helped me really feel the emotional connection/relationship between the two main characters.
Prepare yourselves. I can't even describe how much I hated this book. I'm really thinking Jessica Prince isn't for me. I really don't like her FMCs. At all. Everyone is checking everyone else out even though they're attached romantically. An example that you see many times throughout is, " if I wasn't taken I'd totally hit that." Just why? Why does the author need to entertain that train of thought for every couple in just about every book? I get it. Ain't no ugly people living in Hope Valley. Everyone's sex on a stick, and we judge everyone unless you're in our special little group. I hated this book so much I don't even care to describe the plot. I hated Temperance aka Tempie. What a stupid nickname. Sorry to anyone out their using this in RL. A serial killer is basically out to get her and anyone close to her yet she wants to act TDTL. She's all worried then complains that she has to have security following her or staying with her. I wouldn't have cared if she got slaughtered like the wannabe ow. Hayes was a manwhore in the 21 yrs they were apart, and I still thought he was too good for her. Oh yeah, the 21 yrs separation that Temperance created. Everyone mad he slept with another girl one week after their break up. I couldn't have cared less. Overall I hated this, and felt like it took me 500 yrs to get through. I kept hoping I would change my mind as the story went on, but I just kept loathing these characters. Sorry
Wowza! Come Back Home Again grabbed my attention (and my heart) from the first words of Temperance and Hayes’ story and didn’t let go until the very end.
Okay, straight up honest here . . . I struggled a bit to read Out of my League, the first book in the Hope Valley series. It was hard to keep track of all the side stories and to really connect with the lead characters. But, OMG, I had none of the same problems with Come Back Home Again.
Tempie and Hayes are all grown up now—yet neither one ever forgot the other. None of their relationships lived up to what they had when they were younger. Neither one found true love again. So now that Tempie is back in Hope Valley—for good this time—they realize their love from twenty years ago never truly died. I loved how they forgave each other and moved past their hurt. I loved watching them fall for the adults that they are and how true their feelings for each other were.
I loved Tempie and Hayes from the start. Their second-chance romance was sheer perfection. And adding in the suspenseful elements rounded out their story as well as resolved some of the lingering issues from Out of my League. I now can’t wait for more in this series and am looking forward to Trick and Nona's romance! ~ Missy, 4.5 stars
The blurb is not appealing AT ALL. These “runaways” annoys me sooo much. And then Leonor wrote a review (that I didn’t read..yet) and she didn’t seem happy. And I trust her. Now I am going there to read it. I’ll link it here as soon as I finish.😁😉 Here it is: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show... Sweetest romantic hero “EVER”. 😣
20 years later she comes back to town: “But I was a thirty-nine-year-old woman with nothing to show for my life but a crappy apartment and a job that took up my entire life. And it was all because the memory of Hayes was so strong I could never fully push it away”
This book was amazing an amazing second chance romance with suspense in it. I loved how this story unfolded and the way things happened had me swooning over Hayes. Hayes is a great guy who loves Tempie with all his heart and he will do anything to protect her and keep her safe so when she ups and leaves it breaks his heart.
Years later she comes back for a family emergency and when she sees Hayes she can't help but fall back in love with him. Only this time someone is determined to hurt Tempie and Hayes will go all out to save his loved one. He loves Tempie and wants a future with her so he will stop at nothing to keep her protected.
This is an amazing story that every romance reader should read. So go on and one click it and enjoy this great story!
When Tempie comes back home to Hope Valley to see her aunt before she passes, she never expects to have a second chance with her first love, Hayes. Hayes has spent the last 21 years since Tempie left town, regretting their breakup and that she was out of his life. Now that she's back in town again, even if it's temporary, he can't help but to want a reunion with her, the only woman he's ever loved, the woman he's loved every day since they first got together.
"I'd never fallen out of love with Temperance Levine. She'd burrowed into my heart when I was fifteen years old, and she'd never left."
I loved Come Back Home Again just as much as I loved Out of My League, the first story in the Hope Valley series. Tempie and Hayes make a fabulous couple - their love is palpable, obvious even from their very first interaction in Come Back Home Again. I appreciated that Jessica Prince didn't serve up a lot of angst, and will they or won't they get back together nonsense, instead, let their second chance flow naturally between two people who so obviously still loved each other. Linc and the boys are back on the scene, too, and it was good to see more mentions of them. I love the world Jessica Prince has created in Hope Valley, can't wait for more! Perhaps Rory's story, especially if it's with Cord.
I loved this book! I love that it's a second-chance romance. I love that it has "seasoned" characters. I love that it's a bit suspenseful as to who the villain is. I love that there's a kidnapping (I'm a sucker for a good kidnapping story!) Hope Valley seems like a wonderful town to live in and I now want to move there and be friends with ALL the characters. :)
This is definitely one of my favorite series ever, and I'm only on the second book. Come Back Home Again is actualy a standalone part of Hope Valley series, and now we get to really the story between Temperance (Tempie) and Hayes.
And, boy, what a story. High School sweethearts, they were the epitome of love and all we knew about fairy tales! But after a hige tragedy and some serious issues (no spoiler), they go their separate ways, and not only them, but the whole town grieves the end of that romance, and even after 21 years, people from Hope Valley still talk about it and roots for them to be together again.
When another tragedy brings Tempie back home again, a new chance is brought and neither of them can deny their chemistry, their their cravings for each other. Their love.
"I'd never fallen out of love with Temperance Levine. She'd burrowed into my heart when I was fifteen years old, and she'd never left (...) Because I couldn't imagine my life without her, I'd spent the past twenty-one years in a holding pattern, simply existing instead of living"
Tempie and Hayes had a lot to work on, their chance was long overdue and they didn't want to waste any more time. A lot of questions needed to be answered, some mistakes needed to be forgiven and forgotten and their love needed to find its way ago to grow and florish.
They still had issues and arguments, of course, but they were mature enough to deal with them and respect each other all the time. They were the perfect match and watching them grieve, get over, get up and find their ways to each other again was mesmerizing.
Tempie was so strong and resilient, specially after everything she went through. Hayes was a protector, a fixer and extremely loyal. He was everything and so much more.
"I'd lost count of my blessings a long time ago when it came to this man"
But what they didn't know is that the tragedies that haunted Tempie for so long were even closer than she expected, and it was out for blood again, her blood.
So while they reconnected, they also had to deal with an iminent huge danger, one that could put everything they were fighting for to reclaim in jeopardy. But being together, there wasn't a thing they couldn't face.
"And as I fell asleep, I did it knowing that as long as I had Hayes in my life, there wasn't any storm I couldn't weather"
I loved those characters. Not only the main ones, but the secondary ones, the ones we've met before, the ones we just did, they were all so great, so relatable, so real. They filled my heart and made me love this series even more.
I also loved how Tempie and Hayes dealt with their past, their present and what they expected from the future. The way they learnt from their pasts and were willing to love each other again. Their journey was so deep and, as the plot took place, they grew so much. It was addicting and so beautiful to watch. I was glued to their story from the very first page.
My heart was so full by the end of the book, I was having a hard time saying goodbye (for now). But it gave some sense of peace knowing that their story wasn't near the end. Nor was at the beggining. It's right in the right moment, and at the exact place it needed to be. Home.
"The smartest thing I've ever done was to come back home again"
A great second chance romance with a suspense element weaved in. I enjoyed the chemistry between alpha Hayes and sassy Temperance. Low angst with a lot of feels. A great addition to this series.
This book is really, really good. It's a second chance romance, but they have been apart for 20 years or so.
Temperance and Hayes. Temperance return to Hope Valley to care for her aunt and we start the story as she is attending her funeral. The author manages to write some really emotional scenes, they really touch your heart, some are rally sad but also some funny moments too. No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine but during the separation both Hero and heroine have had relationships with other people. This works due to the length of time apart. Ex drama for both. They get together quite quickly and sort out the issues that led to the breakup, I liked that, when they see each other again their old feelings returned and it was painful to read them apart so I was relieved that by 30% or so those issues are more or less resolved. I would recommend reading book 1 in the series first, this could be read as a standalone but book 1 introduced characters that feature in this book and events that are part of the mystery storyline link to this book. Dual POV. Breadcrumbs dropped for future books in series and updates of previous characters and the couple from book 1. Trick character is developed more and the story ends with events that will lead straight into his book, although I was interested to find out about Cord. HEA for the featured couple.
I did feel it read a bit like a Kristen Ashley book. Some events felt very similar. Jessica Prince writes excellent friendship bonds and banter, this is very strong in this book, small town with a group of friends who look out for each other.
When you get a second chance at love would you take it?
This story delivered. I thought I had it figured it, then I didn't, but then I did. Make sense? It really had me guessing. But my first thought was correct. But Jessica really made me second guess myself.
Temperance and Hayes were the fairytale romance when they were younger, they had their whole lives in front of them. But when life throws the unexpected at you things can change in the blink of an eye. What you thought you could weather together turns tragically wrong.
When Temperances life is ripped from her she makes the decision to leave town, theres nothing here for her anymore. Her family is no more, the love she thought she had with Hayes is gone. If it wasn't for him things may have been different. He is the one who destroyed her. Or so she thought.
It's been twenty years since Temperance has been back to Hope Valley. But she has never forgotten the town or Hayes. Coming back home is bittersweet. The memories and the nightmares still linger. But running into Hayes again and the love that she tried so hard to forget is still there.
They are both older now. He's ex-military and now a Detective with Hope Valley Police department. Currently working on a murder case. One that seems to lead back to Temperance.
Temperance is a nurse on extended leave from her job and currently waiting Tables at Evergreen's Diner. It's not a career choice just a stop and go until she decides if she's going back to Chicago or make the decision to stay here in Hope Valley.
When she needs help it's Hayes who steps up. He never got over her. She was the one for him. And he knows that if he has any hope of winning her back he's going to have to go all in. But with a history that is tragic and one that was never resolved it's going to get scary really fast.
I don't want to share what happened in the past it will come about quickly in the book. But I have to say it really did have me second guessing myself.
I loved the fact that the characters were older. That they were established with their lives and what they were doing. The connection with the leads and the secondary characters was positive and believable. I liked them. I liked the atmosphere for this place called Hope Valley. The continuity from book one was spot on.
The chemistry with the leads was smoking hot. And I can't wait to catch up with all the gang in the next book.
The whole mystery/suspense aspect kept me on my toes, the second chance romance had just the balance of sweet, smexy and angstyness and combined with the rest of the crazy characters who reside in Hope Valley, I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next!
It was hard to not end up falling in love and adoration with Hayes and Tempie. Hayes is that good ‘ole boy who left for a bit, but came back home and is more or less content with the way his life is going. He loves his job and while he may not have a huge group of friends, he’ll do anything for them. Tempie is quite sassy. She’s got a good heart and is easy to get along with, at least until you decide to make jabs at her because when that happens (depending on the jab) she has no problem putting you in your place without crossing any lines.
I really enjoyed Hayes and Tempie’s journey to their HEA. There was just enough angsty moments to keep things interesting, but they kept it out of the OTT realm for the most part and acted like the adults they are, instead of the teenagers they were, when they first broke up. The connection between them was intense and I just really like watching them reconnect and find out that everything they’d initially loved about one another were still there, but only better.
I must say that the whole mystery/suspense storyline was very well thought out. It was well woven into the fabric of the story and, I can honestly say that I didn’t see that coming at all, but it actually made sense when all the pieces were put together. And, of course, I loved the unique characters that reside in Hope Valley. Eden, Rory, Gypsy and Nona were so much fun and I’d love to have them as my girl squad. And then there are the guys, catching up with Linc was fun, but I’m definitely looking forward to seeing more of Trick and Cord as the series continues.
Note: While this book can be read as a standalone, there are a couple of things that carry over from the first book, so I think it would be worth your while to start at the beginning to get a good feel of Hope Valley and those who live in it.

4.7 stars There is a reason that this author is one of my favorites. I originally fell in love with her through the tales of four hilarious ladies in Girl Talk then followed by some of the hottest fictional rockstars ever but nothing prepared me for this series, particularly this book, about finding love in a small town. Every character, no matter their role, is important and piques my interest. I need them to all have their stories told. ALL. OF. THEM.
I loved that the author wrote about characters that were older and yet still loved as if it was first love. Granted in the case of Hayes and Temperance it was first love, it just had years in between. This book is definitely my favorite of the two released in this series so far but it is also one of my favorites from this author. I loved the connection. I appreciated the characters having used their time apart to rediscover what was important. The story had suspense, mystery, and even a little humor. I was riveted from the beginning of the story until the end. I thoroughly enjoyed that Tempie was confident in her sexuality and wasn't timid in what she liked. She was the proper balance of sweet and feisty. Hayes, sweet Lord, this man has it going on and could he give as well as Tempie in the steam department. Could he ever! mmmm hmmm.
This truly is like the best of Daytime TV. I wish Hope Valley was a real place and I could find one of these delicious men for myself and also become friends with these amazing ladies. I cannot wait to see what is next in this series..
After reading the first book ‘Out of my league' in the ‘Hope Valley’ series, I got very curious about the second book so I decided to read it next. And just like the first book I enjoyed this story ‘Come back home again’ very much. The story is a great continue of the series but can also be read as a standalone.
I love reading second chance romance stories and ‘Come back home again’ is definitely one of those. In the first book we got little glimpses of Hayes past with Tempie and now we get the whole story in both POV’s. It’s an intense story filled with pain, hope and love.
I liked both characters very much. Temperance ‘ Tempie’ was this energetic, hard-working, friendly woman and Hayes was this hot, dependable, alpha man. I really liked the chemistry between them. You just felt that they belonged together so that left you wondering what happened in their past. The murder investigation and Tempie’s stalker created an extra storyline and some suspense. It certainly made Hayes more protective. The second characters brought fun into the story. It was great seeing previous characters back from the first book
However, the story was not perfect. There were a few writing errors in the story. Nothing too much, but still enough for me to notice. But still I enjoyed the story very much and I’m very looking forward to the next book in this series.
If you like Kristen Ashley her books, you have to give this one a try.
I’ve read almost every book this author has written, and this series has to be my favorite so far. Not only has she evolved as a writer throughout her books, she’s proven that she can take on the alpha man-messes-up-with-a-good-woman subject, add some suspense and regret, and weave a beautiful tale worth reading and rereading!
Temperance and Hayes had young love once, but events, misunderstandings, and tragedy tore them apart, and sent Tempie running for two decades. Now, she’s back to say goodbye to her last family member, and has the misfortune of running into the man she never forgot, much less managed to fall out of love with.
Hayes has also been living half a life, but he knows full well WHY. And now that his reason for breathing is back, he can’t help but demand the reasons behind her painful departure from his life. After all, he never stopped loving the only woman who has ever held his heart, and he’s a cop, so he can’t help being inquisitive by nature.
Tempie and Hayes find their way through the truth that shattered them and look forward to having a beautiful now, but they first have to solve a few problems. Who was behind Tempie being spared 20 years ago? Who’s been punishing people who hurt her then and now? And what is it going to take to make this person stop?
I love this series so far and can’t wait to see what comes next!
Come Back Home Again is the second book in Jessica Prince's Hope Valley series and is a wonderful second chance story. This followed Hayes and Temperance. These two had been high school sweethearts, but after Tempie's parents are murdered, she moved away. She returned after her aunt got sick and passed away. Things picked up pretty quickly between Hayes and Tempie, but there are problems that keep following Tempie.
I loved the mystery behind the murder. Jessica Prince wrote great characters with a good plot. I look forward to reading Nona and Trick's story next!
When you're only eight percent of the way into a book and already know it's going to be one of the best you'll read this year. That was this book for me. I fell hard and fast for the second book in the Hope Valley series and it left me with a significant book hangover. It's been days and I haven't been able to pick anything else up yet. But I'm not complaining. Tempie and Hayes are replaying over and over in my head urging me to crack open their book again.
Everything about this book was spot on. The writing, storyline, and character development, all of it came together perfectly. This second chance romance wasn't just about a woman reconnecting with her high school sweetheart but, also reconnecting with the town, friends, and home that she's always loved. Tragedy brought Temperance back to Hope Valley but, love is what tempts her to stay.
One thing I love about Jessica's heroines is that she makes them so strong. Temperance hasn't had an easy life by any means but, she doesn't let her past keep her from the future she wants. Her independent streak makes her unafraid to go head to head with the hundred percent alpha male Hayes. The dynamic between these two is so intoxicating that you completely loose yourself in their story.
Hayes is a hundred percent book boyfriend material. Former military, current small town police officer, and all around good guy. There is an edge to him that makes him someone you don't mess with but, he also carries that country boy charm that draws you in. It makes for a sexy combination.
Come Back Home Again will wrap itself around you from the very start and won't let you go even after you've finished. The sweet love story will make you swoon while the twists and turns in the storyline will have your mind racing for answers. You can't help but fall in love with all the residents of Hope Valley and want to revisit their mountain town again and again.
On the heels of the brilliant Out of My League (a total top read for me!), the first in the small town Hope Valley series.... she is back and better than ever y'all, with Tempie and Hayes unforgettable and completely undeniable love story and the second standalone in this addicting series.
Jessica Prince has once again stolen a piece of my heart with this story and gave me a new, competing favorite couple in this brand new book. Come Back Home Again was a sexy, sweet, swoony, intense, suspenseful, second chance romance that made my heart flutter then race in moments and left me all in my feelings until the very last word.
Years and years ago they had a young love like no others... until tragedy struck her in a horrible way and ripped her life apart forever. But now she's back and everything is starting to feel just like old times. Can they find what was stolen from them?
Hayes can't resist Tempie no matter how much she broke his heart. And Tempie can't help but fall again for the only man to ever own her heart. And just as life seems to be finally getting good for them, danger is lurking and coming for them. Hayes will stop at nothing to protect his girl...nothing.
Edge of your seat, racing through the pages, a whole lot of steam and emotions.... I'm telling you Jessica nailed this romance and left my heart so so full and so freaking ready for the next. The tension and banter and chemistry and attraction and love just rolled right off the pages in the easiest, effortless way. Of and these characters.... I love them ALL!
Jessica Prince has quickly become a top ten author for me and I just love the fuck out of her words and her characters.. to damn to die for y'all!
This was surprise I wasn't expecting a romantic suspense from Jessica Prince but this was definitely that. Sure it had a second chance theme to it but there was also stuff going on in the background that played into that. I skipped book one but it was no problem at all, I would definitely back track as I liked this one. I have to note this and the previous book have older characters if you're looking for a read like that, this is one to check out.
That prologue was a good start and sucked me in, I wondered what would happen after that huge tragedy. Hayes and Temperance were high school sweethearts but a shocking event that changes everything our heroines life making her leave town. Lots of years later she's back for her aunt's funeral and bumps into Hayes.
Old feelings are still there and they dance around it eventually being the town's golden couple they figure out the miscommunication from past and get things back to good. Aside from the romance and steamy portion of this, that suspenseful part is a a series of gruesome murders in the quiet small of Hope Valley. It seems they all might be connected and Temperance factors in. I had a few guesses who it might be, I wasn't sure till the reveal and it fell into place.
The author did a good job keeping people guessing and the suspense kept on. Temperance is a strong heroine she had a lot of losses in her life but her spirit remained strong, Hayes being supportive helped too. Hayes was more than your typical alpha hero he cares and is all for her well being. While it's great that Hayes made her life easier and was her rock, I'm not sure I could get over realizing what happened and just move on but to each their own. Still all in all it was quite a beautiful story. I'm liking this series, the author is good at small town books. The secondary characters seems like they have good stories to tell too I can't wait.
I absolutely adored the history between Temperance and Hayes!
It gave this one such depth that was really in insightful into the off the charts pull between the two main characters!
Hope Valley is becoming my go-to place - I am in love with this series and the interwoven lives of these beautiful thought provoking characters!
Nothing hits me harder than a well written thought out, emotion packed second chance romance and this one was no exception!
This one was little different for me in that both the main characters whilst childhood sweethearts, with a love that was told throughout the decades past, were actually in their 40's when they reconnected and it worked just so well with this one!
I couldn't fault the writing - I was sucked into the drama of all the highs and lows that comes with these characters and this series and I loved every minute of it!
Jessica Prince is my go to author who always delivers the feels and the goods!
Come Back Home Again was such a delicious blend of angst and emotions with a side serving of suspense that overflowed from the book prior!
AND - WOW!
What an amazing way to tie in two books to perfection!
The twist is one you will absolutely love - as dark and deep as it goes!
I loved reading every word and cannot wait for the next instalment!
