Boss bae!
Money was a boss! Her cousins and even her own mother and aunt was jealous of her. It’s a shame that she couldn’t be her true self. I hope that Kenzo finds out the truth and that Misty is dealt with. Brix played Misty but she fell for his trap. Very good book; I am hoping that Money makes it.

Money should’ve put her pride to,the side and told him she didn’t order the hit on his sister! You feeling this man, you want this man. I feel Kenzo 100 percent. He thinks you came for his sister so you got what you deserved. You betrayed him. You having relations with him, but try to kill his sister, that’s the truth Kenzo is thinking.

#TEAMKENZO!!! Sorry...I still don't like Money. I do like them two together though.
She let her pride get her in some bullshit. She could have told him she ain't order that hit. And she should have known Mea would never do no shit like that without her word. AND she wouldn't have lied and said Money ordered the hit. So Money shoulda known some shit was up.
But then she made it seem like not only did she not give a fuck about him - by hurting his sister with no regard for him - but she actually had the nerve to feel betrayed by him choosing his sister. She would have chosen her sister in that instance.
Then she start throwing his biggest vulnerability in his face, talking bout she see why his father whooped his and his sister's ass, because they ain't shit. Her dumb ass knew the vibe was off. I get she gave him the benefit of the doubt because she has feelings for him. But she shoulda had some sense of self preservation. I know she wasn't scared. In her line of work you can't be scared to die. But she is the boss. She should have tried to calm him down just so she could get to the bottom of shit. I know she not comfortable with her feelings for him.
I like their chemistry a lot. Even though I don't like her, I like that Kenzo is able to infiltrate her walls. And I love his ass 😍. But far as this beef go, I'm #TeamKenzo. I hope he tear down their entire organization and really humble those Dupont bitches.

Wow! Money was too hardcore and needed to realize at some point she needed to live her life by her own rules. I just hate the fact she was so nonchalant about certain things that she wouldn't be upfront with Kenzo and let him know she wasn't the one responsible like he thought. Misty was too dumb and it seemed as if no matter how many chances she received she always messed up. Brix was a sorry excuse for a man and especially a husband. He couldn't get right to save his life. Raelyn really should've talked with Kenzo with her issues and maybe a lot could've been avoided. I'm definitely team Kenzo! I loved how he had Money looking at things differently and how he was willing to do whatever to protect his sister. I get a bad vibe from Dell and I think it's more to him than he lets on just like some of the people in Money's family. I definitely need to jump into part 2 because even more problems will be brewing because of Kenzo and Money's last encounter.

I am speechless right now. I hate that they had that brief communication lapse because things could have ended different. It wasn't Mea who ordered the hit, it was Misty but now everything has escalated. I believe that Mint followed Money anyway and is going to help her out. Kenzo is a smart man I know that he will get to the bottom of everything. I believe that Dell is trying to partner up with Jacquelyn and set Money up too. The DuPont family is really screwed with their grandmother's rules against men. Team Kenzo
I have a love, hate thing with Charae Lewis books. I love it when the book comes out, I know it's going to be GOOD, but I hate when the book ends. I just want more and more. First, I'm team Kenzo because he is a strong alpha man that knows what he wants and takes his time. He went straight to the source instead of acting off rumors. Kenzo suffered during his childhood and yet he was acceptable to love. I understand Money not giving up her family but she should have told the truth and made it her responsibility to take care of her cousin. Everyone is entitled to at least experience love. I cannot make anymore comments without giving the story away. I enjoyed this book, I was sad, happy, loved the sex, the music choices, it was good from the beginning to the end. These women are ruthless!!
Listen I've never seen any family dynamics like these before. I've heard of grandma passing down recipes and old sayings but never have I heard that love was forbidden. The DuPont women took that rule seriously and there were repercussions and consequences if you fell in love. Money was groomed from a kid to run grandma's empire and enforce her rule of no love and she had no problems sticking to it. Money's resistance to love is challenged when Kenzo enters her life. While Money remains strong her cousin fails betraying the family and starting a war that left me speechless!! I'm so glad book two just dropped so I don't have to wait to see what's next. New author to me and I like your style.

Money a ruthless chic raised by her Gangstama to never fall in love but of course that's impossible when women are emotional creatures, there's always going to be one who breaks the barrier down and Kenzo was him! Both Money and Kenzo has evil jealous family and now they're torn apart but I'm hoping the truth will allow them both to see where the corruption was planted and become team MK or KM! I'm torn between the two because it just got real and they may never be one!

This book was so good. Very well written, great storyline and character development. Family Over Everything is the motto in this book when it comes to the DuPont women. Love has no place or priority in their hearts as well. Money was ruthless as they come and her own mother feared her rath. But when their worlds collide what seemed to be the beginning of a new love affair turns into hatred, revenge and the start of a war that will turn St Parklynn upside down. Can't wait to read how things end.

So about this book
As usual Charae knocked it out of the park with this one. I seriously thought my family was dysfunctional but we don't have anything on money's family. I find their no men allowed rule interesting especially since the person who created the rule is dead and gone. Everybody deserves love and even though money is ruthless, I'm #teammoney even though her ego definitely came into play at the wrong time. Her mom, aunt and cousin are definitely haters and I don't like them. I'm anxiously awaiting part 2! This was a great read!

Can I be team get Misty and Brix?
I can understand both Kenzo and Money on how this part ended. Money can't expect Kenzo to choose her over his family when she's not willing to choose him over her bitter grandma's messed up rules. That being said Kenzo can't expect her and her family not to go to the extreme when they have been violated. It would have been nice for Money to give him a heads up though. Kenzo and Rae had nothing to do with anything and were kept in the dark until it was too late and he did what he had to do at point. Not his fault. Now I'm off to read part 2.

Money was ruthless! OMG she was everything as well! I loved how the DuPont family was a unified female front! Kenzington was an alpha male with a soft spot for Moolah. I liked how vulnerable Money and Kenzo were with each other. They revealed their darkest secrets to one another. Topics covered in this book are: drugs, mommy/daddy issues, bitterness, child abuse, betrayal, greed, infidelity, and so much more! Good cliffhanger and I'm ready for book 2!

Woooow this was some kinda of read. Brix is crazy for what he did and to get Rae caught up into it. As a husband he should have owned up to his wrongs and not run leaving his wife to fight his battles now you got Kenzo wanting revenge. Misty is very messy and will get what is coming to her as well. Money she should have just opened up her mouth and told him the truth she didn't make that call on his sister. Welp let's see what part 2 says.

Another fantastic read by Charae!! I loved Kenzo from the moment the touched down back in St. Parklynn. I was so glad he was breaking walls that Money had bui!t up. I really want her to experience I've and happiness like her sister Moelle. I pray Raelyn leaves Brix behind and gets with Billy lol. I hate Misty, Jocelyn, Jacquelyn and Brix.

Moolah and Kenzo were really falling for one another but one messed up situation has really screwed that up!
