I'm a historical fiction writer who lives on the edge of the Yorkshire Moors in the north of England.

I love reading fantasy and romance, eating home-cooked vegetarian food, drinking whiskey, and imagining the alpaca farm I'll have one day.

A brilliant magical book.
Lilly and Theo introduce us to Isobel’s delightful world.
A dark account of witches and witch hunters.
The search for a magical stone leads Lilly to her soul mate- Theo.
However, the road to Theo is covered in obstacles.
Isobel develops her characters and plot delightfully.
A dark time.
A time where magic and science clash.
Romance is a given but it is also a rocky road.
The twist and turns in the story and ending make this a great read.
Five stars.

HAIR OF THE DOG, OR WAS IT EYE OF A NEWT!!!
Ok guys, are you ready? Naw, I don't think you are but grab seat anyway we're about to get deep. If you're looking for a fast paced, action packed, smooth flowing read that captivates from the start. Congrats my friends you've just stepped off in it. This one has all the drama you can handle with a strong storyline that keeps your focus on this page turning bombshell. The characters and scenes were realistic, intriguing and complex with an undercurrent you could feel throughout the entire tale. Following the characters along witnessing their personalities transform, blend and grow stronger together. The scenes were so vividly detailed and descriptive that left the illusion you were right there in ground zero with them. Twists, turns and unexpected surprises that will pull you into this engrossing tale. Isobel weaves a world around you until everything else ceases to exist. She did an excellent job bringing this read together beautifully. Great job Isobel and thanks for sharing this little jewel with us.

Witchfog was fun!! I liked Lily, but, at the same time, she annoyed me. Probably because she’s a teenager trying so desperately to be a grownup. Yes, she’s wealthy and sophisticated for her age, but she doesn’t have the life experience under her belt to always make the wisest decisions. Theo is an incredibly interesting character that constantly leaves the reader wanting more information. I enjoyed Witchfog and am hoping there’s a sequel.

The book is very well written and captures your interest right away. It is a great book with lots of adventure and many twists and turns that keep you guessing which is what I truly enjoy. I don't like predictable.

I very much enjoyed the story. Lily learns so much more than she ever expected and it was interesting to watch her on her journey. She really grows and understand how little she truly knew of the world.

I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

Well written, interesting read. Characters were true to Victorian London.
Who would have thought a well bred, orphaned, wealthy London debutante socialite would team up with a man that is a lowly hand to rid the Yorkshire moors of an evil coven of witches.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and read it in one sitting.
