Lexie Wayne grew up in the publishing world and went to acting/art school. She grew up in a small French town in Québec, Canada. Determined to make it into the big leagues, she learned English independently and had R.L. Stine and Stephen King as her literary teachers in the art of writing.

Odd to most people, her whole life, Lexie became a bookworm and developed an antisocial anxiety disorder. She fought many stereotypes and misconceptions from the outside world her entire life. Lexie preferred daydreaming to any other activity. At a young age, Lexie proved to be ahead of other classmates and was even tested for her IQ allowing her to pursue her studies in a special school. However, avoiding other people was still what Lexie did the most.

Years later, despite Lexie’s clinical introverted personality, she decided to make one of her dreams come true. She built a gothic magazine that would become a platform for the indie community. She named it, Gothic Bite Magazine.

Following the launch of her webzine, Lexie published her very first novel, Mrs. Blackwood. It proved to Lexie that it was possible to make more than one dream come true. Her passion for either what lurks in the dark or the vastness of space was no obstacle for Lexie, who wrote, Vacuum Of Space. Her studies also came in handy for her more logical approach when it comes to either subject.

What had Lexie gotten through social events she despised as a misanthrope and socially awkward personality was drawing. At a young age, Lexie became a great fan of DC Comics’ Batman and Flash. She even pursued some of her studies in art from an online school and was even in fourth place for DC Comics’ Art Workshop in 2017.

But Lexie will never forget who gave her the first shot at writing professionally, the CEO and her first Editor, Tara M. Clapper of The Geek Initiative.

The author also publishers under Arielle Belle Lyon and Lexie Wayne

I only read the demon she knows in this anthology by KZ Riley, I will read the others at somepoint

KZ Riley has written a wonderful story and I cannot wait to read more of this series. Zyla has not had a very good life at all, she is making the most of what she has, she is surviving. But a fateful encounter changes her life and her world will never be the same again. I found this was well written, I was glued to the page from the beginning, it’s exciting, touching, and has left me desperately wanting more, I adored this story and will be reading it again and again

Sorry no spoilers included, because I really dislike it when other people just have to ruin all the surprises that’s hidden within a book!
This anthology had some awesome short stories inside from some amazing authors, a few authors who I’ve read before and some that were completely new to me.
I was pulled in before I had even finished the first story and I could not climb out until I had gotten to the very end of the anthology, there was so many twists and turns that I got kinda dizzy a few times but I loved it.
So that is a big HECK YEAH I most definitely recommend these stories to anyone who’s searching for some fantastic reads to get completely lost within!

The Gothic Grimoire Anthology is a compilation a nine individual stories each by different authors. These stories are about many types of creatures such as: Elves, dwarves, witches, angels, demons, werewolves, wendigoes, vampires, and other paranormal creatures. Each different story enchanting in its own unique way. While reading this anthology, I found myself enthralled by the different characters and stories throughout its pages. I will definitely be looking for more stories and books by all of the talented writers whose work I sampled in this anthology. I recommend this anthology to anyone who enjoys well written paranormal tales full of myth and mystery.

Demon She Knows- This story is instalove in so many ways. Zyla blindly accepts something so out of the norm that you have to wonder if something else is at hand. It is eluded that fate is working something. Overall an interesting read. I look forward to seeing where it goes.
