Darn, I just lost the review I'd just written...*sigh*
Okay, here I go again...This was a short story (50-something pages) about a 33 year old college math professor (Briony Swift) and her affair with her two former students, 27 year old Nic and Leo. Although technically they weren't her students when the affair began, something about it came close to being 'icky" for me.
Briony's petite, pretty, and smart, but she has a bum leg (she walks with a big limp and uses a cane) that she injured while skiing as a teen. The accident has left her scarred physically as well as emotionally, and she finds comfort in her ordered world of math where one plus one equals two and there are no surprises.
Dark and hunky friends Nic and Leo are college students but also successful travel writers who have already published a book. They spot Briony working out in a gym and follow her for two years before they make their move and take her Algebra class (which they don't need). Towards the end of the semester they decide that they can't take it anymore--being around Briony and not being able to do more is driving them crazy! So they decide to drop her class--and proposition her (in graphic terms). Since they would no longer be her students, there's nothing standing it their way from having her, right?
Briony is shocked with Nic and Leo's proposition--she had no idea they felt that way about her, although she had noticed they paid particularly close attention to her in class. And if she could admit it to herself, she had noticed how utterly attractive they are. But they're her students--it's wrong, wrong, wrong to feel that way! But if they're determined to drop her class so they could be with her, then maybe...?
Well, this develops just as you'd expect. After a little cajoling, Briony takes Nic and Leo up on their offer, and has a little weekend fling with them. Briony is used to living a vanilla life, and Nic and Leo are anything but vanilla. The threesome have some hot times, and even include an icicle to help 'cool' Briony off. But of course, someone from work finds out just what's putting the 'smile' on Briony's face, and trouble ensues. Will Briony chose the safety of her career, or will she throw caution to the wind and take her chances with Nic and Leo?
Hmm. I thought this was a pretty well-written story, and despite the subject matter, it was by no means a total sex-fest. (Although those scenes were certainly hot). I just wished I liked the characters a bit more. Nic was sort of a hot-head when he didn't get his way, and I thought both he and Leo bordered on the stalkerish. They had this idea that once they saw Briony, she was "the one". They were big believers in fate, kismet, etc, and were kind of relentless in their pursuit. I'm just wondering what they would've done if Briony told them she wasn't interested. I also didn't totally buy it that after one weekend together, they were "in love". Ahh, Romancelandia...
There is an epilogue in this one, which I found a bit preposterous. I guess anything's possible...If you're not bothered by the whole "hot for teacher" vibe or a couple of stalkerish heroes, you may enjoy this one. And you'll probably enjoy the erotic sex scenes (don't forget about the icicle). I wasn't totally sold on this one, but it's good enough to rate 3 1/2 stars.

I have a few words for this book: Ewwww. Creepy. Stalker. Should I go on?
It involves Briony the teacher and two of her students. OK, so she's a 33 year old college professor and the two students, Nic and Leo, are 27. But still. Gross. They come to her one day and ask to drop her class. She wonders why they would do it, since the semester is almost over and they are both A students. Come to find out, they want to fuck her. Both of them. They only took her class to learn more about her - they didn't need it to graduate. And they've been watching her FOR TWO YEARS. Good Lord. In what universe is that NOT stalking.
Initially, she turns them down, but they drop her class and then right away, she's all "you're not my students anymore.....let's fuck!". Ewwww.
So they have a weekend threesome fuckfest - and as she's leaving for work on Monday morning, they apparently have a front yard makeout session. And the Dean sees them. And photographs the three of them. Um, OK. So why was he in her neighborhood with a camera? And if he just used his cell phone to take the picture, he would have been pretty damn close to even get a good pic. Again. Ewwww. Creepy. Stalker. Geezus, what is it about Briony that makes men stalk her? So yea, the Dean calls her into his office and tells her to break it off with the two guys or she's fired. Oh, and she also has to have sex with him. Ewwwww. Creepy.
She ends up quitting and the threesome ends up happily ever after.
So, judging by my one star rating, nothing in this story worked. I just couldn't get past the creepiness factor. And it wasn't the threesome factor that bothered me. Actually, that's the one part of the story that I didn't have a problem with. What I didn't like was that these two guys stalked her (however innocent their intentions were) for two years and then were just like "let's fuck". And when I got to the part where the Dean wanted to blackmail her for sex - I literally said out loud "GROSS". I mean. No. Nothing worked. Nothing turned me on. I had no girlwood whatsoever for this story.
My suggestion - skip it!

Oh my gosh, this checks off several tropes that I love: menage, older woman/younger man/men and teacher/student. Briony has a disability and she doesn't understand why Leo and Nic are approaching her. These guys are her students and she has to remind herself constantly that it isn't appropriate to admire their looks. Nic and Leo have been playing the long game when it comes to Briony but they are done waiting. This was a fast read but there is a ton of feels and sexy times packed into it. The only complaint I have is I was done too quickly. Loved it, I didn't want it to end!

Really short. Cute though. I thought they’d end up being shifters - they aren’t. They talk about her being their mate. They don’t wear jackets. And they open the doors at night to have sex on the kitchen table. Maybe this was meant to be longer with that as part of the storyline and was cut out? Who knows. Without that was an explanation, they can easily be considered stalkers. But apart from the instalove (albeit they waited 2 years to make a move), it was sweet.

This was a cute story - I wish real life worked as easily as "fate" and "soul mates" picking out your "one" and when you find them you know.. some people never find that, some people say they do -
I've never been a big fan of the whole "teacher/student" relationship - but this one wasn’t too bad.
It started off with Nic and Leo - two best friends who grew up together. both polar opposites in their personalities, but both wanting the same thing in life.
Lucky for them, they found her ...
They first noticed Briony Swift when she came out of the gym a couple of years ago. They noticed how strong she was, and yes they notices her disability with her leg - but there was something else they felt when they saw her... without a doubt, they both knew she was their soul mate.
After taking her Match Class in College for 2 years, they showed up in her office with "drop class" notices for her to sign.
She wasn't sure why they would drop the class. Both boys were A students and there was only 2 more months until the semester ended.
But once she signed the papers, her wildest fantasy came true - She realized they were actually hitting on her! HER!?
She knew it was wrong, even though she signed the drop classes, they were still students and it would have been her job - so she told them to get out.
When she saw them in class the next day, even though they dropped the class, all her dreams from the previous night ran through her mind and she couldn't focus.
20 before the class was offically over, she dismissed everyone else. Calling Nic and Leo into her office to find out why they were in her class.
After a few flirtatious words, she had agreed to let them come to her house. Why fight it if she was feeling as strongly about them as they were with her.
That night, as soon as they walked in the door.... the night started heating up..

wooow! es raro pensar en tres personas como pareja! no es algo que vemos siempre, menos que leemos!
Escenas tórridas, un poco de sentimentalismo...mas de lo mismo...En conjunto, un buen libro de lectura rápida! Es bueno de vez en cuando leer algo diferente! y esto sin dudas lo es...que original! mis felicitaciones...hay que tener coraje y jugarse a escribir esas escenas!
Con este libro me despido por un tiempo del genero erótico! Necesito volver al amor!

Lo primero a destacar de esta historia es la paciencia y el romanticismo de los personajes masculinos que la protagonizan, es que Nic y Leo son un amor!!! La seguridad con la cual buscan tener a la mujer que aman es muy de alabar y más cuando deben andar aguantándole por un tiempo las inseguridades a Briony, que los tiene en vilo bastantes veces. Una historia super adictiva y calurosa. Muy recomendable

Two Plus One is a menage erotica by Brynn Paulin. The sex scenes were hot, but the story could use some work. I enjoy Brynn Paulin's BDSM work, but this story fell short. Maybe it was all the talk about how mangled her leg was or maybe it was the lack of story, I'm not sure. I just didn't enjoy it like her other work.
