COLOURS (OF LIFE, LOVE AND FAITH)’ is a collection of poems with a wide range of themes from secular to spiritual; love to depression. It has three sections namely – BOOK ONE: COLOURS OF LIFE; BOOK TWO: COLOURS OF LOVE and BOOK THREE: COLOURS OF FAITH. You would find striking imagery used to portray the poet’s fertile imagination. Writing consistently for over three decades and having these works read on radio, appeared on the pages of newspapers, published in anthologies and posted on the Internet, the pieces were carefully sifted to produce a collection that every reader would find thrilling and satisfying. The one hundred and five poems are composed of free verse, sonnets, haiku, rhyming acrostics and lots more. It is a collector’s item.
At nineteen, two of my poems, ‘PLEA TO A BUD’ and ‘TELL ME PLEASE’, were published in 'Monthly Life' magazine. I have been writing consistently since then. My poems had been published in newspapers, anthologies and read on radio. My works are also posted on various websites. I'm working on a poem which has the potential of becoming the World's Longest Poem in English by a single author. 3500 stanzas of the poem entitled 'Dr Fixit (Africa’s Longest Poem)' (approximately over 250000 words long) had been rolled out on Amazon as kindle ebooks and paperbacks. More volumes expected. I have also with these a short-story collection entitled, 'Gamblers Make Better Lovers (And Other Stories)'; ‘Beauty Is A Burden (A Novel)’; ‘Colours (Of Life, Love And Faith’ (a 105-poem collection); ‘A Long Love Song’ (a long single poem forming a book); ‘The Many Faces Of Truth’ (a short novel) and ‘Write Without Fears And Tears (Twenty-one Tricks On How To Write Well)’ which is a guide and several other books. More should be out soon. In 2015, I was voted as the Creative Writers Association of Nigeria (CWAN) literary 'Heavyweight of the Year'.
