I loved this book. I found it informative but also fun and easy to absorb. It provides just enough information for youngins to get interest in different genres of music without becoming overwhelming. The illustrations are bright and captivating. I enjoyed all the artists represented too.
Would definitely reccomend to a music loving human, regardless of age.

This book needs another look at from an editor. There were so many sentences that I tripped over and had to reword in order to make sense.

Many bands had similar blurbs that felt forced and gave no actual information about the band or their music. It had me questioning why they were mentioned or who they even are?

Overall, my rock obsessed kid enjoyed it. She had fun looking up some of the music.

This was a cute book and had some interesting "tid-bits" attached to several bands. I was disappointed Weezer was merely mentioned in a side panel of "other bands worth mentioning". I did, however, appreciate that they listed bands somewhat by genre. That was nice. Overall, this book is a good start to learning about rock bands and some of the origins of the genre.
