All three books now available in a single box set!
Kira Blackstone’s reputation precedes her...
Rebel, warrior, genetically enhanced killer.
She’s fought since she was a girl to save the city of Haven. Now, unfortunately, her friends are going to have to fight their war without her.
Kidnapped during a fight by a group of mysterious soldiers, garbed in fine silver armour and flowing red robes, Kira finds herself waking in total darkness. For a girl who can see in the dark, that’s quite the rarity. And soon, she’ll find that her other powers have been suppressed as well.
She doesn’t know where she is. She doesn’t know who has taken her. But before too long, the mystery of her kidnapping will begin to unfold, and the reason she was taken will become crystal clear.
When it does, Kira will discover that the war she left might just have been nothing compared to what she now faces. And while she’s stood toe to toe with powerful foes before, she hasn’t seen anything yet.
The warrior race is on…
Set in the world set up by The Enhanced Series, the Warrior Race tells Kira’s story, taking you on a wild ride that expands on the world of The Enhanced in surprising and exciting ways. It can be read as an entry point into the world of The Enhanced, and no knowledge of the main series is needed to get stuck right in.
When you have such a solid storyline, it seems a shame to not take time for a thorough proofreading/editing session. Yes it is well worth the read and hopefully the author will go back and fix some of the spelling and word-choice errors.
The story is full of action and highs and lows. It isn't necessary to read the Enhanced series first but it does make for a better "flow" to the overall telling. It's got some great characters in it and you can't help yourself to pick up the book again within moments of putting it down or at least that's what I found anyway , the only reason why I didn't give it a full 5 star's is because it does have quite a few typo's but it doesn't detract from just how good the book is !! I wanted to give 4.5 star's but it doesn't let you so I am going to change the ratings again lol I think it deserves a 5 star on the merits of the storyline itself and the typo's didn't bother me too much and I reported the content errors when I could and wasn't too enthralled by whatever part I was reading about at the time so I certainly didn't report all of them. It really is a great box set and carries on the excellent work of the Enhanced series that I had read before this and now I'm eagerly anticipating what the next in the series holds in store for me in the Enhanced ( something that I can't remember off the top of my head so please excuse that ) where the main Character rejoins the characters from the first box set 😆😆👍👍👍👍 I really can't wait to get it so to finish up, great series and you really should get it along with the one before and after as well !!
I really wanted to like this story, but the more I read the less I liked the characters. I also found it to long winded, with many repetitive emotions.
Remember the good and the bad of history, so you don't repeat the mistakes of past rulers. Great characters with realistic situations and lots of action and adventure. I look forward to more from this author
I've now finished all the books in the enhanced series. I didn't read them exactly in order but it wasn't difficult to figure it what was happening. I really enjoyed the series with a lot of unique characters
This trilogy has been my favorite so far out of the Enhanced Series. I haven’t missed a day of reading in almost a year because of these books. They are all so spectacular!
Complex ever changing plot. Characters grow through out. It was so good that I decided to overlook the need for better review and editing in my rating.
Great series for the young adult, and fantasy fans alike. Highly recommend the entire “Enhanced series” Already downloaded the sequel series as well:)!
