This was an amazing beginning to this series. Sam and Camilla light up the pages in the incredible story. Camilla is everything Sam has ever wanted in a woman, smart, sexy, beautiful, but her life isn’t heading down the track it should be. She deserves more out of life and he wants to give it to her, the only thing that could stand in the way is his brother Adrien who has a mind of his own, dark, deceptive and out of control, he’s a loose cannon ready to go off at any time, Sam will need to keep a close eye on Camilla and keep Adrien away from her. In the end this could be their downfall. This is only the beginning of their dark, twisted relationship and I can’t wait to see what’s next for these two.

I enjoyed this prequel novella. It provides a tempting taste of things to come, introduces you to the characters and gives you an overall feel for the tone of the book. I think Sam and Camilla's story will be intense, dramatic, steamy and suspenseful. I'm eager to read more!

This prequel is just perfect and grabs your attention.

This is a prequel story to a trilogy series so I knew going it that it was going to be a short introduction into the characters and plotline. However, I felt it was too short. There wasn't enough insight into the characters or overall character development for me. I would have rather skipped this as a separate book and had it included as a prequel in book one. Thankfully, book one is already available so I'll be able to start right in on it as I am interested in seeing where this trilogy goes.

Delightful Tease
I volunteered to read an ARC for this prequel and to submit an honest review.
Camila meets Samuel Kane; he handsome, a successful billionaire, and very mysterious saying there is nothing really interesting about him.
To Camila's surprise he invited her to have coffee with him at his mansion and even sends a car for her. When he walks down the stairs to meet her, he appears so different from the man she interviewed the week prior..........
Can't wait to read more!!!!!

Man oh man...I don’t think this prequel made enough sense to me. After reading it, I feel sorta meh. Does not peak my interest in reading the follow on full novels. I’m definitely on the fence...(I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this prequel and can’t say whether I like it or I don’t.)

CLIFFHANGER!?!
Everything I read about this series before starting this book said it was a prequel novella or some such thing. That indicated to me that it was a short story to introduce the characters to a longer series and would have an ending of some sort. I never expected it to just leave me hanging in the middle of nowhere! No climax, no suspense, and NO ending.

This is a short prequel to the Dark Obsession Trilogy. Camila is a photographer for an online blog. Recently she interviewed wealthy Samuel Kane. Needless to say Camila had no idea what the future held due to Samuel’s identical twin brother Adrien. Excellent prequel that grabs the reader by leaving you with a desire to read the first book in the trilogy, Buried Obsession.

It was getting very interesting between the photo blogger and the billionaire. I wanted to know what exactly he does and how their relationship is going to turn out. I have always enjoyed Roxy ‘s books.they have always been interesting and easy to read, entertaining, realistic and worth the time. I am sorry this was so short.
