All the strange noises in the jungle are making little Felix Frog just a tiny bit jumpy. It’s time to find Felix a safe place to sleep... and someone special to settle him down for bedtime.

Tiny Felix Frog is trying to make his way home across the jungle. Along the way, he runs into a variety of rainforest critters whose unique sounds make Felix jump! Help Felix make his way home by counting, bouncing, and repeating phrases before turning each page.
Vivid illustrations with bright colors make this a storytime standout. Turn the animal-sound reveals into a guessing game for preschoolers or kindergarteners, especially if paired with a non-fiction rainforest or jungle animal title.
This could be cute for older kids for a story time (4 and up), but it feels a bit much for younger, unless reading one-on-one (for the family- eg: bedtime story). The artwork is beautiful. The story is lovely. I like the different fonts/sizes that are used throughout to put emphasis on different parts of the story. I loved the plot and the ending was fabulous. Absolutely would recommend it as a book for others to read.
I love this book! The illustrations are excellent and the story allows kids to continue guessing what will happen next, with a few great interactive components along the way.
Perfect for a frog, jungle, or animal noises storytime. You could even stretch and make this a Father’s Day pick, with Felix’s dad showing up towards the end of the story!
An engaging picture book with vibrant colors and a variety of jungle animals: frog, turtle, monkey, snake, woodpecker...and one last animal. What would it be? Read it and see! (Just wish this book was shorter for my toddler storytimes!)
An adorable book that allows plenty of opportunity to engage the young reader, with finding, pointing, counting and guessing. The colourful pictures are lovely and there is also a lot of onomatopoeia that is both fun to read aloud and to hear.
About a tree frog that's down by the pond. The tree frog is easily startled and each new sound (from a different animal) makes it hop away and higher until it's back with its father where it belongs
One gratuitous 2 page spread oriented the wrong way.
Not quite as great as Firefly Home, this is still a fun, interactive storytime book with vibrant and attractive illustrations that invites young readers along a journey through the forest with Felix the frog.
Themes: Forest/Jungle, Frog, Don't Be Scared! Age range: 3-5
This a cute interactive book that would be perfect for a Pre-K or Kindergarten story time. The colors are so vivid and the students will have a great time guessing what animal is coming up next, as well as counting and shouting at the snake to shoo. Loved it!
An interactive, educational, colorful story about a nervous little tree frog, Felix, who needs to find his way through the jungle. Can you help him? I love all of Britta Teckentrup's books, and this one doesn't disappoint! A great book for your next read-aloud!
Love the bright green color of the frog, asks the reader to participate in the fogs adventures, has some factual stuff but its fiction and the frog is personified.
