Touring is a series of venues and hotel rooms, one after another. For photographer, Kate, that’s not an issue when she’s dating half the band. Xiao, JongB, and Jiwon are more than happy to find ways to pass the time with Kate in hotel rooms, even if they don’t involve clothes!
Out of Asia, things have finally calmed down for Onyx. Fans are welcoming, shows are sold out, and all six members are present at every concert. America should be problem free and relaxed.
Only, it’s not Onyx who are having the problems.
It’s Kate.
Her cheating ex-boyfriend, Damien, might have ended things with her, but now he wants to get back together with her. And he’s prepared to do anything to make that happen.

Romance: 3/5, since it’s still developing.
Can I just say Wow!
Ji Soo Lee really outdone herself with this one.
I really want to Geek out on this book, and just unload with spoilers(!!).
But alas.. I am refraining, and must leave you waiting in eager anticipation.
I gotta say I was flabbergasted when I met the Cliffy for this book.
I mean the cliffhanger is great, but dang it can’t this book just be 700 pages or something?! I Cannot express how much I love this universe and I don’t want it to end... like ever(!). LOL
We had Freaking Hot Scenes that were more in-depth than before and I loved every second of it.
The drama was really good and flowed very well throughout the book.
*murmurs* What a nut of a ex...
I’m such a Big Fan of Kate, she is definitely one of my top favorite Reverse Harem Females. We get to see Holly a little bit more, and in the next book also.
Just *Cues Applause* Well Done!
Cannot wait for Book 3!
BTW: Love MinMin, don’t know much about him yet, but the quiet ones end up being my favorites for some reason LOL. So hopefully he’ll be More upfront in the next book!! LOVE LOVE LOVE HIM.

This book is SOOOO good! I was already in love with the characters after the first book, and Kate is such a shameless RH heroine. It's awesome - whatever happens she's like "Bring it!" We get to see more of the idols we already craved, and we delve a little deeper into the character of the ones we haven't met. Reading this book, there were so many scenes where I felt like I was watching a vlive of an ACTUAL k-pop band and I was laughing out loud at their antics. I keep having to remind myself that H3RO, Onyx, Bright Boys, and all the other artists at Atlantis aren't on YouTube or Spotify.
Once again, we're out on tour with Onyx, this time in the USA and Canada! Although they're a little less likely to be recognized in public, there really isn't much time for sightseeing as they head to a new city every couple of days. The romance heats up, the sex gets much sexier, and the stakes are higher as Kate's awful ex decides he isn't ready to let her go.
Warning: if you're not already into k-pop, there's a high likelihood that you will be after this. And if you are, you'll be fangirling (or fanboying) out even more. I can't wait to see what happens in Europe on the next leg of the tour, and to read about all the other characters that exist in the Atlantis universe.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this novel.

i enjoyed this even more than the first !! i’m really loving the characters and the dynamic between all of them <33 this series is really helping me get out of my reading slump which is appreciated!!

Flaming Hot RH and Pulse Pounding Sequel
Onyx Heart was such a wild ride. At times laugh out loud funny, charming and swoon-worthy male leads, some extra steamy scenes, plus pulse-pounding action.
Kate is so relatable and funny and it was so nice to see each of her love interests developed more.
Pulse-pounding action was ramped up a notch as someone from Kate's past appears.
If you're a fan of KPOP or contemporary RH definitely give J.S. Lee a read... But maybe start with the first book.

It gets better with every book. Omg, this story rocks. I read it so fast I want to slow down because it might end fast. Lol. On to the next one. Btw, this is fast-paced (and also the first one), you will not get bored reading it because the storyline is exciting. Got culture-shocked with the first book because of the "relationship" they have. Thank you for using some of Exo's song titles as chapter titles. More power Ji Soo, Unnie.✨

Poor kate
She's still fighting her way through with this crazy ex of hers. And now with truths coming to the surface it's just become a bundle of stress for everyone. I am soooo freaking curious as to what minmin has to talk to late about. He's the only character that I am not fully sure what he's up to, but I can't wait to find out!

Honestly I think one of my biggest issues with both H3ro and Onyx series is the fact that the female protagonists, Holly and Kate, are both from the US yet they aren't using US English.
In this book Kate says things like fringe, poppers, and torch, when she should be saying bangs, snaps, and flashlight. I wouldn't care if they were from somewhere that used British English...

So I decided to give this book a try even knowing I had a bad feeling.
I’m not a big fan of one POV for the whole book, especially if we don’t get a convo during the book of why 123 did xyz.
This book was okay. I don’t see many K-POP RH/WC books out there so Ill be finishing the series but its meh. I couldn’t tell you what happened in this book.

I think what caught my attention was minmin, i have no idea wear to place him. Like i got a few mixed signals so I'm looking forward to book three and hope there will be answers in there . I love this Atlantis universe btw thank you for sharing it with us !

I love all the K-pop related stuff in this book. It is what is most engaging and so well written. There are aspects of the romance that don't quite work for me, but all the other fun stuff keeps me reading regardless. On to the next one!

J.S.Lee brings out another fabulous book with the men of H3RO! I couldn’t stop reading it. The relationships continue to evolve and Kate is more in love then ever. The book finishes with a real interesting “situation “! Can’t wait for the sequel🥰Guarantee love fall in our with this book!

I liked this one, and I definitely still enjoy the characters.... but there were some glaring inaccuracies and inconsistencies that really pulled me out of the story, so I had to stick to 3 stars.

Quite entertaining to read. Too bad this book has no intimate scenes with the other LIs from book 1. If the emotional development had been satisfying, it wouldn't be a problem, but that was also kinda missing here. Still enjoy the story though~

Cute, but Trigger Warning
I'm really loving the blossoming relationships, but there is a lot of domestic abuse in this book (not one of her guys they're all amazing).

Another amazing book by J.S Lee! The only complaint I had is that it ended too soon!!! I would gladly miss sleep for this book and the next one in the series... I can't wait to see what comes next!!!

Heart is a continuation of the hot K-Pop boys (check out my review of Truth to get you up to speed!).
Heart was a wild ride. Not only does Kate and her relationships with her men deepen and evolve, there is a whole lot of suspense going on.
We’re going on Onyx’s North American tour, and J.S. Lee draws such a visible picture, I can nearly feel the music myself. Kate’s continuing to hide her relationship with her men, and not surprising, a few more join the crew.
Bow chicka bow wow. But for reals…the sex is super hot.
Furthermore, Kate develops a bit of a stalker, and the action and suspense surrounding that situation are well written and fast paced. Kate’s emotions feel so real – my heart was racing as I worried.

Book 2 Onyx: Heart was just as hot and intense as book 1. Now in America, Kate thinks things may calm down so she can enjoy time with her Onyx boys, but her past comes back to bite her. Luckily, Onyx are not ready to give up on her and support Kate through everything. I loved seeing their relationships grow even more in this book. I am so excited for more romance and adventure in book 3 as they all travel to Europe!
