Unfortunately I could only find half of the translations so I had to stop without reading the last 4 chapters. Thus I will refrain from making a complete review of this. Please feel free to drop me a message if anyone knows a place to read the full translation.
Wayo is a freshman at a university that his childhood crush, Pha, is a second-year student at. Pha is extremely popular and last year's Campus Moon. When Wayo gets the opportunity to become the Moon of his faculty, he realizes he gets the opportunities to see and interact with Pha.
I LOVED THIS BOOK. I WILL MISS IT SO MUCH BECAUSE IT WAS SO CUTE AND SWEET! It's honestly amazing how well the author and translator wrote this book because this book was just as gripping as the first. I did not want to put it down. I was hooked so badly. It's just pure gay fluff and I love it. The only thing that I was upset about was the lack of insight into the ship of MingKit. It's like they get together and then the focus is 100% on P'Pha and N'Wayo. Even BeamFourth got a sex scene and development -_-
I can't wait to read the extra chapters to see if that gets rectified though. I would definitely recommend trying out the first book, if you can deal with fan translations, because it is so epic. I can't wait to reread the books and rewatch the series!
Me siento estafada.
This book was hilariously ridiculous. I still ended up giving it four stars because it made me laugh. This third book is much different than the others that’s it’s actually a bit startling. The drama involved and the actions of certain characters was just so far off the rails I was reading passages saying to myself, “Bruh! What the heck is happening right now??” The focus in this book was on two out of the three couples but mainly Phana and Wayo since they are the main couple. It was nice to delve a little bit into Phana and Wayo’s personal lives since nothing has ever been mentioned about their families before. Wayo’s dad is super supportive but at the same time he’s crazy and uses his financial status and power to punish people. Phana has family issues, which I was not expecting since he is presented as being perfect. But it was still nice to get a glimpse into their home lives. Jealousy runs rampant in this book because the characters always jump to conclusions instead of talking face to face. This seems to happen often in Asian dramas. And Phana and Wayo were extremely childish in this book, to me. Like, it was on a whole different level! But again, it was all so ridiculous and extreme that I couldn’t help but crack up laughing. Overall, I enjoyed the book although I am not quite sure I can see this being made into a season 3. It was all just so extra that I can’t imagine any of the actors actually portraying any of it on screen. 🤷🏾♀️ 4 stars for its entertainment value.
“After all, this is the true meaning of the phrase "Moon Courting Another Moon"... We need to hold on while swinging us both like Two Moons revolving around each other...”
My feelings towards this book are pretty mixed. I love these characters, and their relationships, but this just felt so pointless, and I was bored through a lot of it. The only really enjoyable parts were when Pha smashed Park's face into that desk (because it was hilarious), and the ending, which made me sad to the point that I actually teared up. I still can't quite believe that this is the end.
Even though I didn't love this particular volume, I still have such fond memories towards this story, especially book one. After reading this, I really want to rewatch the original series lolol.
It's hard to come by this books in English. So this review is for a fan-translated edition for the series.
I really love these love stories. They are sweet, fun and so full of heart. Each culture expresses love differently and it shows. The author let the character's emotion seep in every page. Beautiful young love! All three couples are amazingly sweet and charming.
